Almost 99% of us are gonna be gucci with last gen consoles, especially my 9-5 homies out here, don't get bent out of shape trying to abandon ship on last gen or spend so much extra $$$. I play fort on an OG fat xbox one and it's perfectly normal.
@@BloxeydexYou’re good. Playing online on Xbox is free on games that are themselves free. Since fort and warzone are free, online play is free. It’s a really good change they made not too far back. As for PS, idk how it works since I simply have PS Plus

Yes, fortnite works without xbox live, but i would recommend getting your son a newer console because older consoles will be discontinued soon
