What an amazing podcast. This is the first time I have happened across this channel. As a person who would consider myself as an agnostic with regard to all religions, (I feel that they can't all be correct, as such no single religion could be 100% correct. I feel that the truth must lay somewhere within grounds upon which all religions agree. But also that it is likely that we, humanity, can never really know the truth. We can only ever have faith in it.). As a person who has grown up in a predominantly Christian county, with parents of different sects of Christianity and seeing firsthand the conflict that could arise from this, I was repelled from religeon at a young age, but I still retained my sense of wonder and awe at the lessons of our ancestors.
I love people, all people, each and every one. I have always been a naturally empathetic person which, I believe, has led me to develop a high level of emotional intelligence. As such, the manner in which I carry myself, treat and love other people is very similar to the manner in which Sh Navaid Aziz is teaching us in this podcast, to be to the best way in which to carry ourselves.
Listening to this conversation has given me a newly found appreciation and respect for Islam and the teachings of the prophet Muhammad (alayhi as-salām) in the Qur'an. In the Western mainstream media, we rarely hear of the culturally rich and ancient wisdom of this beautiful religion. Which, for any Christians that find this podcast and comment, Islam also tell of Moses (Musa) life in much more detail than the Bible does. Alongside Gabriel, Joseph (Yusef), and other phrophets that you may be familiar with. We are all (Jews, Christians and Muslims) linked, by Abraham, to Adam. We are all brothers, and descendents of the same lineage. We all seem to forget this in our "modern era". I hope that this podcast grows larger and reaches more non-Muslims, to remind the Western World just how close and similar every person on our shared planet really is. We all hope for and dream the same dreams, we all want to know the answer to the burning question of truth. But if we continue to segregate ourselves into our 'tribes' we will never know peace on Earth. If we come together, love and learn from each other, then maybe, just maybe, we might be able to ascend our civilisation closer to God, Allah, Yahweh. If we can all realise the truth that we are one people, with one home planet, we might actually ascend our current state and find that heaven has been right here in front of us all along. Heaven is peace, to reach heaven we must find peace amongst all people.
To begin our journey to find peace amongst all people, we should listen to the conversation held in this podcast. Develop our emotional intelligence, doing this will allow us to finally comprehend the truth. We are one. If we tresspass on one, we trespass on all. If we betray one, we betray all. If we hurt one, we hurt all. But If we love one, we love all. The first person that you must learn to love is, yourself. Love yourself first, as only when you love yourself, can you truly love another.
Learn to love yourself, so that you can truly love others. Be kind to others, even when they are not kind to you. See others, even whey cannot see themselves. "Fear Allah (alayhi as-salām) with regards to those who cannot speak".
Thank you for this podcast, it has made me rethink a lot. Shukran lakum 'iikhwani.
Read all of the Abrahamic Holy books, Qur'an, Torah and Bible.
