I respect you for taking hours and hours just teach people how to speak French
Hi
I respect you for respecting her for taking hours and hours just teach people how to speak French
After 40 years in France I understood everything. I’m still obviously English once I open my mouth.
French has to be among the most difficult languages to learn. You spend an eternity learning the grammar and vocabulary and then you realize they all use idioms and slang in actual conversation.
@@tgoodm1 😭
😃😃
@@tgoodm1 Woo! Thanks for that pointer
On the first listen I was only able to pick up that someone needed help with something involving the kitchen and the garage. Once the subtitles came on I knew everything except that he was moving.
Same here
All respect to you Alexa, for putting in efforts to make such knowledgeable videos for us. You are the best teacher!
Merci!
Wow it was so fun at the end when i understand everything so easily. Thank you so much. I would love to watch again again if you do much videos like that🙏
I love these videos, they are extremely difficult but it helps me develop my ear. Thank you for all you do!
This was such a good exercise, first listen I heard nothing, with subtitles I figured out the subject and could gather key information, by the last listen I could hear the key phrases and subjects popping out at me, so good for training your ear to hear French. Thank youuuu!
it works like magic hearing it for the last time,
This was the best video that I have seen. Very educational. 👍
Excellent. Nous besoins plus vidéos de vocabulari. Merci beaucoup !!!!
C'est vraiment utile! Merci!
Good to point out, that it's : 'on commence PAR..' whereas people might automatically go for : 'on commence AVEC...'
By the third time it seemed so easy..why was I thinking chouette was an owl?
Chouette, une chouette. = Cool, an owl.
It feels very rewarding being able to listen through that and actually understand what they're saying in normal speed without subtitles 😂 less than 2 years, although my speaking is slightly below my comprehension skills 🫠
Same, Ruby, same 😂💔
95% - thought cutlery instead of ... 🙂
Merci beaucoup !
bonjour madam Alexa. I am an anglophone and I am not fluent in french. l am happy you are fluent in both french and English. please answer my question. out of your experience in both languages between french and English which one is very difficult and challenging to learn?
I got an idea what they were doing the first time but wasn't sure if she was helping him cleaning or moving.
Ok. I got it all first time. Cool. You thought that was hard? I watch Hugo décrépit chaque jour. C'est tout. Par fois je répète les verbs. I'm never going to learn the spelling. But I cant be perfect in English either. Español es fonético. Merci.
Melhor professora de francês
I could able to get something about kitchen and once subs on i could able to guess context it is almost correct 😅
Alexa could you please answer my question?
I can understand these conversations or at least I can understand what's the topic of dialogues and that makes me happy because BUT if someone ask me these kind of questions, it is so difficult for me to answer them. What should I do to improve my speaking skills??
Hi i got the same issue ..you simply need to keep practice speaking
J’aime bien ce discours. Plus de la même sil vous plait. Merci pour tous les videos. Bisous bisous
a suggestion for this video, we could see a video of a mouth, precisely following the recording of the audio to help with articulation of words
Thanks so much for making these videos. I found this one tres difficile but Im determined. One comment is there a typo in the english phrase " I would like you to help BUT(should this be PUT)? merci
Yes you're right it's put. Mettre = put in this context. We say also "mettre la table" which means "set the table"
It's much easier than any French film.
My French is poor but I understand almost everything the first time.
I understood all well I understand French my problem is having the confidence to speak
I find it all comes with pictures. A little girl in a movie moves in a neighborhood and ends up sneaking in to the old man's car and goes butterfly catching. It's like a calandar, she says about the breath taking views.
I understood pretty much everything, but it's always worth breaking it down for a closer look. Folks Alexa actually wants to teach people how to speak and understand French. Not keep people down and taking money for drip-feeding nonsense about how to buy bread. Or memorise lists of slang phrases. It's a rare thing.
"The pregnancy of your daughter brings great joy to our village" - right?
I can't understand any of it until I see it written. Practice more!
Waiting in Hong Kong, China
HAHA I am the second from SRI LANKA 🥰
j'ai bien compris le troisième fois.
J’ai compris le tout.
❤
i think your translatio of j'aimerais que tu m'aides a mettre is incorrect you mispelled put with a "but" :)
I understood that they're moving things. Then I heard owl chouette.
It's a weird one considering it both means owl and cool
Hi can see new things about saying and a lot of conversations in a short shop where there are no stocks left how to explain why
Ce deju vendu trop.... Etc
Please
Please recite the song petite fleur by Jill barber. Please help me to learn this song please. Best wishes.
J'aimerais=i would like
aime=like
serait=would
oh i thought that they were trying to clean up the house
Allez I wating
Can u give me lessons please ?
I am from Iraq
Facile
I would like to speak French fluently. By 2023!
Thank you for teaching!
become my school french teacher pls🥺
The man is planning to move and seeking the girl’s help in putting utensils in order in the kitchen, then they could also do next the garageif they still have the time?
I understood all the French. not super complicated...and spoken at normal speed.
What was that? I didn't get a single word
No way I'm first
Hi Alexa…your fast French is not that fast. Can you speed it up?
Please Please Please stop saying things are difficult. Let the learner decide for themselves.
Challenging or engaging, do these sound like better terms?
@@russellperry9902 No, simply teach the lessons and leave out the negative. Students are already aware of the challenges of learning this. 🙂
@@teryigee8806 ah well, ca la vie non?
I think you are being harsh - I thought it was easy but I've been learning French on and off for a while. As many viewers are not following courses or exams, a verbal degree of difficulty helps. For most the reassurance of expected difficulty is important, and for some might demoralise while boost others.
@@teryigee8806 There are quite a lot of students who delude themselves and shy away from straight up conversational speed French.
Merci beaucoup !
SMALL mistake:
( but ) ---> PUT
I would like you to help me
( but ) PUT all my kitchen utensils in the cardboard boxes
