Yeah they got union jack tail lights from factory around 2019/2020. Car definitely looks better with them on. I did a bunch of research and seems like the F56 is pretty solid...so fingers crossed it's OK. Otherwise more content for RUclips 🤣
Hi, what year is your car? I saw that some people have to modify the wiring. For my part, I have a Countryman S from 2020. Would I also have to do the coding?
It seems its possible but not practical, there's too many bits to change and too difficult. Most people online said its better just to buy another car with the LED headlights already.
@@LueysGarage i just bought car with those halogens at very favorable price so i was just wondering 😅 those halogens are weak since I'm coming from really nice bixenons - difference is huge, whatever, less driving at night i guess 😁 thx for video btw
I have done exactly the same and it still shows the error message 😔 I have a 2016 JCW, LED front lights, Halogen back lights. My connector is fully occupied so no pin switching. I bought OEM GP3 Union Jacks. I have the newest Bimmercode version and my screen shows the same as yours. All is set properly in the LED conversion section. The cold/warm monitoring was already set to the values shown in older videos. Still have the error message for the left rear break light. Any idea?
Tricky one, I didn't need to do anything else apart from what I've shown in the video so that was lucky. My guess is that perhaps there's something else that needs to be done for your car? You may need to go into the advanced section and try to see. Or maybe the GP3 lights are different somehow? Are they the same part number?
@@LueysGarage I think the only difference between the normal and the gp3 version is that the gp3 ones are smoked. Well, I guess I have to dig deeper into the expert mode. Maybe I missed something.
Have a look on Ebay or local Facebook groups, we manage to find our set on Facebook even before we bought the car. Last resort would be to ask your local dealer, they have upgrade packages available as its such a common mod.
I have a Cooper S in the UK but myself and my partner one day want to move to NZ so it’s good to know I won’t have to sacrifice my fun :)
Plenty of Minis here in NZ, there's a big community
Interesting. I did not know some of the F56s dont have the Union Jack tail lights. Mini's are expensive, but fun.

2014, I believe every car has to do the coding if it didn't already come with LED union jack lights
Hi, just wondering, is there way how to replace my halogen headlights for some nice LED headlights?

I believe it's T-20. At least it was for me.

Strange. A day later, no message was show on the display. I think I am all good.
@@Crylhound computers...might have just needed a few restarts or something
@@LueysGarage yeah
My turn signal and brake light flash at the same time
Did you have the same wires as our car for the plug or less? Sometimes you have to swap one of the wires
@@LueysGarage i swaped the First Pin with the 5. pin the 5. pin was empty
@jamoin9639 yeah I didn't have to do that. There's other videos on RUclips that show you what you need to do for that
@@LueysGarageI don’t have to do it either they work with both options
Where can I buy them for a 2015 mini?

@@LueysGarage thanks for the help 😊
