They only lost because of the Ice Block. Any non-Hunter OTK deck should run Eater of Secrets just to be able to destroy enemy Ice Block or Freeze Trap and ensure the OTK. I'm amazed no one has thought of that yet. Sure it's a bad card but losing because of Ice Block is hell of a lot worse.

Right now I'm at low ranks cause of season reset you feel me? Every deck I saw over 15 games was something you'd likely see at legend rank. Zoo, Midrange hunter, N Zoth Pally, Res Priest, Tempo Dragon, Tempo Mage, the works. Only exception was one Shaman deck that was playing cards like Kobold and Azure Drake, likely to use the new weapon, which was never played, so I can't be sure. He steamrolled my Warrior deck because I can't make a good Warrior deck with my collection and he still had his Tunnel Trogg, Tuskarr, Faceless, etc.
at 3:09 you're correct, but at 6:11 kripp played correctly. The ethereal conjurer has a chance of producing a frostbolt or an ice lance, which would save him from the warrior top decking a weapon.
The firelands was being saved for Atiesh value. Editing for more clarity: Twilight Flamecaller has almost no use VS OTK warrior's minions, using it right there was the most value he was likely to get out of it, and he also wanted to add the Roaring Torch to his deck as the game was finishing. Using Firelands to summon a 7 mana card with Atiesh is much more value than using it on a Thaurissan and having no 1 mana card to be fully efficient with his mana on turn 8.
OTK decks are common in lower ranks probably because they're relatively cheap to make. Sure, you don't have a lot of the support, but you can get a combo out with mostly basic/common cards. Worgen (common), charge (basic), Inner Fire (basic), Rampage (common). Harder to gather and pull off than the optimized versions with faceless and the like, but still doable. Even without Thaurissan that combo is still 9 mana, 6 cards, deals 32 damage. Also it's start of the month, and I've been facing almost nothing but strong meta-decks even at rank 19!
I thought Charge was 2, but maybe I forgot. I was saying that Worgen (3) + Charge (3) + double Rampage (2+2) = 10. It's less card-efficient, since you need both inner fires and both rampages to deal 32 damage (so gather 6 cards instead of gather 4 and thaurissan 1) but it still is OTK.
I really want to make the deck that Kripp is using but I don't have doomsayer or Yog-Sharon. What are the best options for replacing them? (List 3 cards please)

Recently got couple quests for warriors. Since this weeks brawl is only for mages so I had to make a warrior deck and OTK is the only good deck I could make (missing a lot of legendaries and epics for control). It's not a good deck if you're drawing pretty bad, cause it relys a lot on combos.
yogg does cast spells, but it counts as him casting spells, not you. I'm too lazy to look at the weapon's text, but if it says "... you cast a spell ..." then it shouldn't do anything

Why at the 2x 8/2 windfury did you not just blizzard them and get a 6 cost minion from the staff? Then you would have 17 damage to face in that round and probably lethal in the next round. Is there some card in the Warrior OTK deck that specifically makes that a bad idea? I thought the OTK was just a one trick pony...

It would have been a much better method of removing him, and it wasn't like he had a weapon equipped 6:11 why didn't you just use blizzard on the 2 worgens? The opponent ran out of axes and the chances he has a charge in his hand or his topdeck is really small, so it should have been the perfect chance to get a big drop on him 8:58 you should have pinged the wild pyro, because since this guy is otk, pyro is a key card that makes up that combo, so destroying that should have put a great dent in his plans, as he would then have no pyros left

Kripp needs to trade a doomsayer for another ice block. It is the most important card in the deck. Reno never gets played until an ice block gets activated, so why not have two?

actually it's 3 (worgen) + 3 (charge) + 5 (faceless) = 11 mana. So you need at least 1 emperor tick on one of those cards.
