Kat's a sucker for the pastrami action at Victor Hugo but my favourite is definitely the mortadella one. Easily the best sammich. Fight me :)
This Victor Hugo segment inspired me so I’m surprising my boyfriend tonight with a mortadella sandwich just like the menu reads 🥪 😋 Wonderfully informative video - I need to move to Scotland to actually fulfill my never ending list of things to do, see, eat…. 🤷♀️💁♀️🤔🏴 🤣

Always loved the look of Victor Hugo's (especially on a nice sunny, Summer's day when they put seating outside) but have never been in, so very glad to find out the food lives up to the nice vibe!

I always felt like they take the art of banh mi seriously! Opening a new branch in Bruntsfield soon - it's supposed to have some more vietnamese stews and such going on!

P.s the eggs benedict is lovely at that Victor deli. The slaw is beautiful too.
I will be visiting soon and I would much rather go to Lidl or another store to buy a ready-made sandwich so I could pay less and still get both a good meal and on a budget. Thank you!

No Czech food in sight unfortunately 😭 surprisingly not many sit down places for Polish food either! But Mexican scene is fairly solid over here, we love El Cartel and Taco Libre is also great!
