    great talk, thanks! any more info on how the usbsoundcard gpio trick is done (software wise, hardware wise)?

      You could just take one apart and get the data sheet from google then just find the 5V GPIO pin which is active when audio is active... then you just tap it to a 5V relay for PTT to your radio.

      @@daveschwarz5279 ofc! Thanks for the pointers =) Now using an usb2serial ftdi and couple of transistors to short my baofeng to transmit mode using the excellent option in direwolf, wonder if this works better =)

    If your version of direwolf.conf , in ADEVICE has a "dash" after it, your audio input may not work.

    Does Direwolf do Pactor II, III, or IV?

      No, Pactor is proprietary ... you have to pay the big bux for it.
