That's the GM's and owner's fault. When you draft a star player you have a minimum of 3-4 years and a maximum of 7-8 to put competent pieces around them to compete. All three of those players you mentioned had that. Look at Minnesota. They make the WCF for the first time in idk how long. Then they trade their second best player because they didn't wanna pay both. Now KAT is out there in NY putting up better numbers than ANT. Most of these owners wanna save money first and win second. Now when ANT starts getting disgruntled because this current team can no longer compete. This sucks because Jimmy has gotten us to two finals in the last 5 years but it’s understandable. He needs to be happy where he’s at and we need to build around Tyler.
Jimmy should be blamed for quitting on his teammates in the middle of the season. But, can't discredit what he has done for the Heat organization over the past several years. Yes, Jimmy is 35, he still should be able to play 3-5 more years at the top tier.
The “gimme my bag” argument doesnt really make sense. Miami gave Jimmy his bag, hes the 11th highest paid player and gave him all the money he asked for. Miami is under no obligation(and would be stupid to) give him a max extension as a “thank you”. You get paid for what you produce.
its not about being a top 5 player its about clutch play. Jimmy is one of the best 4th quarter players in the league and thats what matters when it comes to the playoffs which explains why they have so much success

Bound to happen pat didn't really give him the help I'm not just putting all this on butler, i think he fits best in Memphis his playoff experience can help vs those contenders up top they kind of need an adult who can play they have the shooting, they have their star in ja, the defense is elite he just slides right in Marcus smart doesn't play and they needed more size at that position and i love memphis development system but how the west looks they can really compete against anyone they need a jimmy imo i think the supporting cast is going to be as good as it gets this move is for a deep playoff run which is what Memphis is aiming for atp
Theres been a serious lack of team building for Miami since Butler got them to the finals in the bubble. Ultimately they overpaid players like Lowry/Robinson/Oladipo and it basically has handicapped them combined with their stubbornness to make trades. Pat doesn't believe in butler and therefore hes right to want out
Bro, 2020 Bubble Miami Heat had no Bam or Dragic. With your best defender and at the time best offensive player out how would we win that series. Somehow still went to 6 games and Heat for sure had a chance of winning if healthy.
I doubt Butler will be traded. Pat Reilly would rather have jimmy sit all season because he wants to punish butler and see his value go down so jimmy doesnt get a good contract.
These players want to dictate where they go; I say get the best for them . Those NBA finals flukes. The bubble and played an injury prone Knicks and Celtics team. This is the real maimi Heat.
the most desesperate trade request i ever seen. Jimmy will not be traded, because of his huge salary and no team wants to lose players for a 35 years old dude who can be out next summer. Jimmy please play good basketball until this summer and try to get your last good contract, but you can't be traded
5:43 THANK YOU!! Its about damn time someone talk about how this front office has done jack shit to help the roster. Pat Riley slept on his ass (literally) during trade deadlines holding onto Kyle Lowry's corpse then had the nerve to call out Jimmy for not being healthy to carry that shit team like usual. And keep in mind, according to reporting at the time, the one main deal breaker for the Dame trade was the Heat wanting to hold onto CALEB FUCKING MARTIN, I do not care what type of run he had in 2023, you trade his ass for Dame and you dont think twice about it, and he ended up leaving the team the next year anyways
Heat have been in purgatory for a couple years now. Shoulda already traded Jimmy by now and start building something else because they fell way behind. Boston, NY, Cleveland, even Orlando have become WAY better while they haven’t done anything. Wasting good Bam years too.
Jimmy is going to PHX, warriors going after him does nothing. Most teams are waiting for 2026 FA to get a big name. I think Jimmy gets to PHX with the Kings involved somehow
He would be a great fit on a lot of teams. But not for 50m At the same time. I understand. Lot of bums in the league making big money. If im Himmy i want double.

Jimmy should be blamed for quitting on his teammates in the middle of the season. But, can't discredit what he has done for the Heat organization over the past several years. Yes, Jimmy is 35, he still should be able to play 3-5 more years at the top tier.
W C one!
The bubble run wouldn’t have happened without Dragic
Ain’t no way Cone thought that the Suns had potential😂😂
Yo what happened to the podcasts? ☹
its 5 pm in north east India and the sun almost sets, just so you know
The “gimme my bag” argument doesnt really make sense.
Miami gave Jimmy his bag, hes the 11th highest paid player and gave him all the money he asked for.
Miami is under no obligation(and would be stupid to) give him a max extension as a “thank you”. You get paid for what you produce.
Idk you have to acknowledge that Jimmy when he had to turn it on he had the impact of a top 5 player in the league
its not about being a top 5 player its about clutch play. Jimmy is one of the best 4th quarter players in the league and thats what matters when it comes to the playoffs which explains why they have so much success
If that’s true Demar would have more value
He is that guy when he cares. However, with the way the Heat routinely squander late second-half leads of 15+ and higher? You would never know
As a heat fan… I got no words💔
Man I really hope Miami and Warriors can reach some kind of deal in the next month. 😊🙏
Jimmy would be PERFECT next to Steph and JK and co could be vital young players for Miami. 😊❤
They over corrected from the Heatles Era. No more big time moves. All “culture” and that’s it.
He deserves a better team he should go Dallas or Spurs
3:35 acting like he is not old and incredibly overrated in the regular season is a sign of delusion
Heat fans think they are GETTING EVERYONE WHEN IN REALITY THEIR OWN STAR DOESNT EVEN WANNA BE THERE 😭😭😭 & they end up with guys like Alec Burks & Josh Richardson
Man maybe it's me but I don't see how Jimmy gets a pass for being incredibly toxic to almost every team he's been on.
Bound to happen pat didn't really give him the help I'm not just putting all this on butler, i think he fits best in Memphis his playoff experience can help vs those contenders up top they kind of need an adult who can play they have the shooting, they have their star in ja, the defense is elite he just slides right in
Marcus smart doesn't play and they needed more size at that position and i love memphis development system but how the west looks they can really compete against anyone they need a jimmy imo i think the supporting cast is going to be as good as it gets this move is for a deep playoff run which is what Memphis is aiming for atp
Theres been a serious lack of team building for Miami since Butler got them to the finals in the bubble. Ultimately they overpaid players like Lowry/Robinson/Oladipo and it basically has handicapped them combined with their stubbornness to make trades.
Pat doesn't believe in butler and therefore hes right to want out
I respect Jimmy for what's its worth and what he's done for the Heat! But Mterfker has missed a majority of the games this season.
I wana see jimmy on the spurs wit Wemby and cp
Bro, 2020 Bubble Miami Heat had no Bam or Dragic. With your best defender and at the time best offensive player out how would we win that series. Somehow still went to 6 games and Heat for sure had a chance of winning if healthy.
bring him back to philly.
I doubt Butler will be traded. Pat Reilly would rather have jimmy sit all season because he wants to punish butler and see his value go down so jimmy doesnt get a good contract.
to win a championship, you need star power AND role players who know what their role is
Tyler herro didn't play on final againts Nuggets.
They got so lucky on that run
Bedtime will have to wait
I think Jimmy knew ahead of time he was being traded and so he got ahead of the move
These players want to dictate where they go; I say get the best for them . Those NBA finals flukes. The bubble and played an injury prone Knicks and Celtics team. This is the real maimi Heat.
Let us see if Butler opts-out next year! Running his mouth, let us see if he backs it up.
I think Jimmy Butler is going to the Pacers.
Jimmy Butler is more to blame and what's best for the Heat is to trade him to the Warriors.
As a heat fan I would thank jimmy for the finals but man he’s very inconsistent
the most desesperate trade request i ever seen. Jimmy will not be traded, because of his huge salary and no team wants to lose players for a 35 years old dude who can be out next summer. Jimmy please play good basketball until this summer and try to get your last good contract, but you can't be traded
He should take the player option, by far the most money he can get, shame for the Heat tho
Coming back to this when he gets traded
@@ryszardsikora6894 for real
Bro just turned 35 in September and you said soon to be 37... Y'all gotta stop put numbers on people's age.
its 2am for me 😭🙏
5:43 THANK YOU!!
Butler wanted Kyle
@hunterwade9030 im not criticizing them for getting Kyle? Im criticizing them for not getting rid of him when they needed to when he became crap
Heat have been in purgatory for a couple years now. Shoulda already traded Jimmy by now and start building something else because they fell way behind. Boston, NY, Cleveland, even Orlando have become WAY better while they haven’t done anything. Wasting good Bam years too.
If they actual got Dame last season shit would’ve been different.
Bam was hurt in the finals also Goran 😅idk what you was watching
Comment section doesn’t understand time zones 😂
Jimmy is going to PHX, warriors going after him does nothing. Most teams are waiting for 2026 FA to get a big name. I think Jimmy gets to PHX with the Kings involved somehow
I want Jimmy on the hawks I think he enough of a piece for them to make a run in the east
TBH. I'm sick of hearing about Jimmy Butler. BAM
If they didn't give d wade the bag their franchise legend what made him think they'd do it for him
Jimmy is literally an emo kid. I love to see Jimmy get a ring and retire as heat😢
Jimmy Butler and Wemby?😂🎉
He would be a great fit on a lot of teams. But not for 50m
At the same time. I understand. Lot of bums in the league making big money. If im Himmy i want double.
