I see the point and kinda agree, but Tiny Tiger, N. Tropy and Dingodile should just, not be in the game at all imo. Seeing them as obstacles in some levels is pretty dissapointing

The game was later released in DVD-ROM format, dropping the loading times down to what you see in Caddy's video
Wrong. Jon Burton himself explained that the reason the loading times were long was because Traveler's Tales wanted to put minigames on the loading screens, but couldn't since Namco had a patent on that. Also, I had the Greatest Hits rerelease of this game and it was still a blue back CD-ROM.

But yeah, "it's mediocre" is the best description for the game, it tries a bit too hard to be Crash 3 and sometimes it succeeds with flying colors, but at times it fails miserably.
The Greatest Hits version of the game loads much faster; the original is truly godawful about that. It's even better on GameCube though, like every other game that was on both of them...
Examples on how to improve boss fights in TWoC: Crunch at Earth temple: Have Tiny throwing rocks occassionally to redirect you When Earth orbs are collected, they mass into a fist which slams into Crunch and slams him into Tiny Fire Crunch: Have Dingodile unleash flames every so often to make Crunch fasrer or have Dingodile use the flamer to make fire walls. Knock him away to get access to suit. Etc and so forth.
Addressing the loading times, I think they varied in length depending on which system you played it on, and some versions had it go by faster. I think you did have a better copy.
Wow. These level graphics are a clear sign that this game needed more time to be developed. Had it had more time, the levels would've looked much more detailed!
Also I never watched Lilo & Stitch's original dub, but here in Brazil Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda and Master Chief from Halo have the same VA and I think he voices Gantu too (never tried confirming)
I really liked this game xD I dont know it's my childhood and I loved the first cutscene so much! Loading times weren't EVER an issue (I played on Ps2) althought I would say that once it took like a minute to load but that's not the worst loading time for the ps2 I experienced xD
Believe me, Caddy has promised he won’t remove his old videos anytime soon; he will keep these on his channel & it’ll all be alright. He’s not gonna go the FaZe Jev route of having his videos deleted/privated.
Apparently he's playing the Greatest Hits version, which fixed most of the issues like the load times and frame rate...the lucky bastard. I swear I once waited like 5 minutes for a level to load.

Caddi: Crash 4 is easily one of the most-
Activision with Crash it's about time: Yeah about that,This game is Crash 4 now
Ummmm no it's not but okay
@@raphaelbrown6314 it literally is though...
@@raphaelbrown6314 "Crash 4: It's About time" You're telling me that it isn't crash 4?!?! It's literally in the title....
@@ChugloeStill will always be Crash 8.
Examples on how to improve boss fights in TWoC:
Crunch at Earth temple: Have Tiny throwing rocks occassionally to redirect you When Earth orbs are collected, they mass into a fist which slams into Crunch and slams him into Tiny
Fire Crunch: Have Dingodile unleash flames every so often to make Crunch fasrer or have Dingodile use the flamer to make fire walls. Knock him away to get access to suit.
Etc and so forth.
Hey, Jim!
Could you do a Caddicarus episode on "Monsters, Inc.- Scream Team" for the PS1? Thank you!
Mayor McCheese wait he's name is Jim
The Omnifecient Ardi It's James.
Omg i hope for the same thing
Thank you for all the full metal jacket references , they made me laugh :)
+Sarah Chase same, and I never even watched that movie. xD
same
4:16 kills me everytime regardless of how often I watch this video.
these always put me in a good mood
my first crash game ever, never clicked on a video so quickly
Zanthora same here
Zanthora saaaame
Zanthora same
same
Stardust Charthalos No cause I actually played the good ones
Addressing the loading times, I think they varied in length depending on which system you played it on, and some versions had it go by faster. I think you did have a better copy.
I had the PS2 version and the load times were brutal, but my friend's GameCube copy was much faster.
All that's left is crash twinsanity..... PLEASE
Well, there are two more games actually, but they aren't very good so whatever
Vincent Presscod crash of titans stop bullying that game
Let's call a spade a spade. Crash of Titans is shit. It isn't Crash anylonger.
Vincent Presscod NO. ALL THATS LEFT IS CRASH TWINSANITY.
What about the red button games.
The Wrath Of Cortex was my favourite game as a kid and still is one of my favourites :(
How’d I just notice the “Nozin around” reference from the young ones, cmon man I love that show
crunch always cracks me up in the later games
Coco Crunch is a cereal in the Philippines
1:19. Can we appreciate how smooth that was?
The nostalgia is setting in. I grew up with this game and it's one of my favorites if not my favorite game of all time!
i saw the thumnail and my reaction was "thank you"
Anyone else giving this a rewatch in memory of the now-late R. Lee Ermey?
Wait, WHAT!?
I still do
Wawa: WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU DOING IN MY GRAVEYARD?!
I've honestly been hearing more praise for this game than hate from Caddy
Wow. These level graphics are a clear sign that this game needed more time to be developed. Had it had more time, the levels would've looked much more detailed!
Hey don't diss on Kevin Michael Richardson's voice! That man is a fine voice actor!
I don't think he was
Yeah, he didn't diss on KMR's voice, I think he just couldn't stop thinking of Gantu hearing Crunch's voice. lol
@@Ratciclefan He also voiced Drek in RaC1 I believe
Also I never watched Lilo & Stitch's original dub, but here in Brazil Tai Lung from Kung Fu Panda and Master Chief from Halo have the same VA and I think he voices Gantu too (never tried confirming)
@@Ratciclefan Yea, now that I rewatched it, it makes sense.
For a generational sequel, this game was really disappointing. I still can't get over seeing N. Gin's face for the first time.
Look at modern Caddy's beard now, he is an even wiser man now.
I think I'm experiencing the Mandela affect, because I could've sworn he already reviewed this
weegee buster He once made a video called "10 games everyone hates, but I like" where he mentioned this game. Maybe you are remembering that.
I really liked this game xD I dont know it's my childhood and I loved the first cutscene so much!
Loading times weren't EVER an issue (I played on Ps2) althought I would say that once it took like a minute to load but that's not the worst loading time for the ps2 I experienced xD
Fast forward to 9:01, turn on captions and enjoy
💀
Wait how is the second boss easy! When I played it as a kid the platforms sunk if you stayed on them too long!
GonGames took me literally a million times, agree
Crunchs 2nd and 3rd boss fight was they only bosses in crash I ever had trouble with very hard in my opinion
Made me lose 40 souls and im not joking
Same!!
Personally, found Twinsanity more memorable, but thats me.
Computer-Monster probably because the concept and pun alone are great
Also because its unfinished, or at least sure feels like it.
Music is also great too.
Orchestra? Big band ensemble?
Nah, an entire soundtrack....of nothing but an Acapella.
GENIUS.
Fuck yeah! It might be sacrilegious but I feel Twinsanity has the best soundtrack of the series, its SO GOOD!
I hope he doesn’t remove the old videos. I love this still 4 years later
Believe me, Caddy has promised he won’t remove his old videos anytime soon; he will keep these on his channel & it’ll all be alright. He’s not gonna go the FaZe Jev route of having his videos deleted/privated.
The Wrath of the Load Times
Apparently he's playing the Greatest Hits version, which fixed most of the issues like the load times and frame rate...the lucky bastard. I swear I once waited like 5 minutes for a level to load.
CapitalBLAST its ps2 version
