  • Hello beautiful people! In this video, I share my thoughts on some beauty devices and skincare products that you may regret buying in 2024. After trying so many anti-aging devices and creams myself, I've learned that immediate gratification doesn't always equal long-lasting results. Some devices I've used regularly like radio frequency and microcurrent have really helped refine my skin over months of consistent use. But I've also wasted money on quick fixes that fizzled out quickly. Expensive new gadgets might seem tempting, but spending thousands for marginal results isn't practical or sustainable. Chemical peels, Qua Sha tools, and acids can definitely work - if you take the time to learn their proper use. But often fancy marketing glosses over the lengthy process of achieving your goals through lifestyle changes and discipline. Don't get me wrong, it's fun to try new things. Just beware of falling for claims that seem too good to be true. With patience and sun protection, you can see real change naturally. I hope sharing my trials helps you make choices that truly serve your skin for the long haul. Let me know your experiences - I'm always learning too! Much love, Jodylynn 💖🙏💖

    Thank you for an honest commentary on the absurdly expensive device . What i've learned in the past year ( since Aug 2023 ) is that there are some influencers online who push everything, and they've lost all their credibility with me. I appreciate you.

    Love your honest reviews! It’s so hard to find products for mature skin. The advertisements always seem to have 20-year-old women that clearly do not need to reverse the signs of aging. 🙄😆

    So many truths! It's interesting what you said about radio frequency...I did try 1 device for 8 weeks and saw nothing. My other half said just that...I didn't' need it. Of course, now I do 🤣

    Great video Jodylyn! Totally agree with everything you said. I'm also super skeptical of the Lyma laser. Seems like a lot of work and the price point doesn't match the results. I would not review it either even if they send to me for free, because I think the results I've seen online don't match the long usage.
    i've seen better results with more affordable devices for sure.
    I also don't like that they claimed to be the first home laser. I have been using the NIRA laser for years and they were for sure the first home laser. So i'm skeptical of companies that use untruthful marketing tactics. Their claims seems so amazing. I'm curious to see a long term use from regular customers. They seem to focus a lot on celebrities that truly do other procedures so it's hard to see if truly works. If it was more affordable I would not mind giving a try, but the price point and lack of real substancial results make me skeptical. Glad i'm not the only one that feels this way.

      Hey young thank you for stopping by! I agree 💯 with everything you said! I love my skincare routine and using devices but there is a limit for me as well. Too much and it becomes a chore which I don't want. Thank you for taking your time to stop by and comment! ♥️🙏

    Hey Jodylyn, so you don't think RF device is good as preventative measure for those that are less than 40 yo? I am 36 and would like to use it to firm the face and prevent jowls etc. And I do have marionette folds (I call them folds on purpose, since some people have lines such as wrinkle there but for me they are real folds), so i think if the face was firmer they would appear less?

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  5 месяцев назад +4

      Yes! I do think using it for prevention is fine. I wouldn't use it as often. Maybe 1x a week or every other week. Great question! Thank you! 🙏♥️

    Thank you, Jodylynn for mentioning the lyma laser. Have you heard anything about the jovs pro laser? I'm looking to smooth out the orange peel skin on my mature chin, & thinking that laser is the best treatment for it.

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  5 месяцев назад

      I have not but it looks impressive. It looks better for hyperpigmentation than the regular DPL. 🙏♥️

    I even feel like those topical skin tighteners harm your skin by drying it out. Interesting about the laser - that's one of the few deivces I haven't tried. For that price, I'd rather go to a doctor and get a more powerful laser. Thanks, Jodylynn!

      Hi Debbie! Yes, I agree 💯 about everything you said! Oh also, regarding the Ziip nanocurrent treatment, I do not feel anything during the treatment except for when it vibrates to indicate that you need to do the other side. ♥️🙏 I hope that helps.

    I got the Nebulyft RF device a few months ago but have found that the gel that’s used with it, burns. I do have sensitive skin and I’m wondering if you know of another solution or gel that could be used with this device?

    hi, you are one of the few sincere RUclipsrs and I appreciate and respect you a lot.
    I especially use LED devices consistently.
    For the rest, I am cultivating a great curiosity for a microcurrent device that seems to be much more powerful than all of them. It is a Japanese company and so I like this because it inspires confidence in me. I read
    many positive reviews which would confirm that this device helps in defining the oval of the face.
    it's called Belega Cell Cure. Could you test it and tell us what you think? mostly there are reviews by Chinese or Japanese people on the web so you would be the first RUclipsr to deal with it. I'm thinking about it but I haven't bought it yet but I'm very curious. a warm greeting from Italy

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  5 месяцев назад +1

      Hello! Thank you for your kind words. Microcurrent is wonderful and one of my favorite treatments. I have never heard of the Belega Cell Cure. It seems to be quite pricey and I just don't think that the technologies of this device deserve such a high price. There are many devices that are under $500 USD that have just as good technologies. Some of my favorite microcurrent are the Ziip Beauty and Myolift Mini or the Myolift QT. If you want a much more powerful intensity, then you probably want EMS and Medicube Age R Ems Device is wonderful and much more affordable. But that is just my opinion. Have a beautiful week!

    • @mariamslim6447

      Do you think the microcurrent in medicube pro is good or should we buy myolift minior zip instead?

    Can I ask how many days a week do you do RF and microcurrent?

    • @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn
      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn  5 месяцев назад +1

      I use RF about 2-3, a week. It depends on the device I'm testing. Microcurrent about 5x a week.

      @AgingNaturallywithJodylynn Well obviously you're a busy woman! Honestly, if I hadn't gotten an email. I probably wouldn't have clicked on it and gone to the site either because at six hundred Dollars, that device was a no go for me.. I since have gotten the beautiva Ace. Which is hifu rf ems. Unfortunately, I only used it once because I had some health issues that required me to just calm down a little bit doing things. I hope to give it a whirl in the next few months. Even though the 50% off is a good deal, it kind of replicates what I already have. My main devices are my red light panel and my ziip.. I've stayed very consistent with both of them. Hyperpigmentation has continued to be an issue for me.
      .I'm seeing a dermatologist for another issue. And I'm gonna have a discussion with her about other options.. I tried musely and agency but I just don't think that's gonna be the road for me. I feel like it's one step forward two steps back.
