    That dingy takes a beating from the backwash from the stern.

  • @HastieBusiness1
    @HastieBusiness1 5 лет назад +10

    Under way the tender seems to be making contact with the prop wash / stern wave and bouncing around as a result. I am wondering if the marine lift is the issue or the deep v-hull of the tender?

    • @wunderwoman6577
      @wunderwoman6577 3 года назад +1

      That looks to be a problem to me also. The bouncing cannot be good for the cradle.

    • @benbird2100
      @benbird2100 3 года назад

      @@wunderwoman6577 Agreed. My suggestion, although potentially prohibited by additional cost, would be some kind of locking cradle with latches or tie-downs installed on the swim platform above. With this method, the dingy would be more secure, and also positioned above yacht's wake, reducing or removing any strain on the cradle/dingy storage system. Unfortunately, you would have to sacrifice the use of the stern door, and would also need to find a workaround for stern entry. Perhaps some kind of small foldable/expanding passerelle- which could be moved to starboard or port on retractable wheels- could be installed? Whether or not such an option is even possible, I'm not sure it would be the most ideal or cost-effective solution. However, I do like having the upper-deck davit option so that a small jet-ski could be brought along on the trip.

      I’ve seen videos of dinghy’s torn off the swim platform, and it looked like we were going to see one torn off of a lift and/or a severely damaged lift. Use the davit!

    Hopefully sold by now but man, that RIB on the marine lift sure bounces around when under way. Wonder how many times it has broken.

    Funny how people comment as if this dude is making videos to rack up views. These vids are aimed at owners, who mostly dont give a crap about the stuff boatofiles wanna see. Want to buy this boat? Can afford to buy this boat? Comment away! If not watch, enjoy and STFU!

      Thanks Gckirsch! Listing price changes from time to time. That is reason why we don't mention the price in video.this particular vessel is listed at mid range of 400K.

    I think it would be much more effective to simply show the boat and stand off camera making comments. It is annoying to see you standing in front of the camera blocking the view and flailing your arms all over the place. Just sayin'

      Many reviewers do that, this video didn't bother me
      that much , but I did notice it .. Some reviewers
      feel like they need to be in the camera all the time.
      Most of the pros, that put out
      high quality, well produced videos understand
      that viewers want to see the boat, unobstructed, which
      means walking the camera in, and stepping out of the
      frame or being edited out so the boat can be shown.

      Its very hard to capture everything on the boat in 10 min video. Especially engine room. Video is for introduction of the boat. If you would like to see more, we invite you to come on board ;-)

      50% of pilothouses over 50ft are galley up, especially larger cockpit-ed vessels.

    Now imagine yourself being replaced and having someone normal show us the boat - you being so full of yourself that listening to you is a total turn off. Poor showing always need to show the engine room
