Mr Evans is the Richard Petty of the Yacht World:: Timeless, Classy, exceedingly knowledgeable, he could sell water to fish. Thank you Calbre Yacht and of course Mr Evans.
I've seen a number of his videos and it's the same thing over and over. Way too much attention to the teak and complex curves and richness and how everything is a great space. He opens up every drawer and cabinet and oohs and aahs over storage. How in a galley up configuration the person in the galley can participate in conversation. Isn't this just wonderful? Etc. etc. If the videographer is decent, you can pick up on most of this with your eyes. When you are trying to sell a $500K boat, it is important to highlight certain aspects like the machinery. Richard has an aversion to engine rooms but this is IMPORTANT STUFF. Main engine model? Is it one engine or two?? Is it stabilized? What is the generator capacity? Watermaker? Fuel capacity? Speed? Fuel burn? Range? Seriously, this is a boat, not a floating condo!!
lol, I hadn't noticed. That whole thing of no shoes is a joke though, at least wear socks. I wouldn't want people walking all over a boat I owned in bare feet, yukk, what disease can you bring us... Good comment though, that is a bit odd to see a tour conducted in shoes.
Give Richard some nice teak wood and some complex curves and he's a happy man. Happy, that is, until the bloodlust begins to sing through his dark _dark_ soul. It will not be denied and, almost before he has time to strip down to his hip waders and bare ass, the chainsaw speaks. In no time at all, victims are stacked like cordwood in the guest head. He fashions himself a crude mask by cutting some eyeholes in an old Nordhavn catalogue, washes the blood from his chainsaw using the convenient hot & cold shower in the cockpit ("Isn't that nice?") and scans the dock for fresh victims. "Portuguese bridges!" He shrieks and lopes away into the darkness, revving his chainsaw as he goes....
You nailed it, lol! It's such a consistently cold glint in his eye, as if he hates these boats and you for considering them. Coupled with how smoothly and frequently he lies in these videos, always in that same contrived tone of voice, and it gives off horror movie villain vibes!
"look at this rug! my god it's like standing on a cloud!" "and look at these complex curves you just don't find that on boat's any more... unless you pay over a million dollars for it." man this guy does a great tour but I guess he just can't do it with out sounding like a used car salesman..
@@jakemorganuwo Good question... I've always wondered why John Hanson didn't named his company "Ho-Chunk Campers" instead of "Winnebago Campers" since the Ho-Chunk Indians and Winnebago Indians are one and the same... Besides, naming it "Ho Chunk Campers" sure would have made it a lot easier if down the road he decided to sell his company to the Chinese. Just change one letter...
Since when is plastic glass?Teak wood makes any boat really dated. And again no show of the engine bay.I would like a more honest salesman who tells you the good and the bad.Digital gauges would show some updating of the boat.Satellite phone, really not an upgrade when all phones are satellite.
Yes Greg you are so right, 'Just a door', allowing access to the engine room via the Master Cabin ! try to imagine engineers in boiler suits and workshop shoes going in an out the Master Cabin with greasy failed parts, spares, tool boxes & whatever else is required to rectify the failure, that's when your lovely Queen Bed & teak curves will come in handy .
A lot of these yachts look like Las Vegas hotel suites for high rollers... The kind that comes complete with an English butler and a high class hooker...
This vessel has been sold! For a list of our current inventory, please visit us at www.calibreyachts.com

A dude who appreciates a complex curve.
You guys show some of the most beautiful boats!
I love listening to this guy
Thank you for your kind words! Richard loves making videos. More to come.
@@calibreyachtsales He is exceptional at it. Makes every detail interesting.
I agree, soothing voice, isn’t a typical wheeler dealer boat salesman, you can tell he loves this, Im envious

He should be trying to sell real estate. He might be decent at that. Doubtful, but selling boats definitely isn't his thing!
He’s the only salesman that wears his shoes inside!
lol, I hadn't noticed.

*Wearing shoes*
And on a flat, woven carpet no less. Those carpets are meant for high traffic and durability, not comfort.
@@OG_Wonder_Woman good eye. Some of the shit that brokers say, and outright lie to us is hilarious.
Piece of art.💯💫👏👏👏👏👏👍👍

Just tired of listening to how everything is SO beautiful and so good
Not to mention the complex curves........
I bet this guy used to sell motor homes...that's probably where he picked up the superfluous lingo..."I feel like I'm standing on a cloud!"
Leon Allan Davis I always wondered what happened to Winnebago man

It would be a nice substitute for a house, you could live on it.
I'm not buying it unless it has Teak somewhere on it. 🤔
Shame, cause there ain't any more like this
with this kind of teak.
Complex curves?

3:25 The first thing I would do is take those
strange oars off the back of the cabinets
and cast them to the sea.
Richard you could sale horse shit to a horse farmer .Nice boat
Beautiful boat, how much?
Seriously, cook at turkey in the microwave? Obviously this guy never met a Salisbury steak he didn’t like.

Could you please include PRICE in these advertisements...Instead of making people look at your website. Just tell us how much
Great salesman!!!....He should teach classes......Eh!!!
Eh?
Forward head no shower! Deal breaker!! You mean on a 53 foot boat everyone has to share a shower! Not good!
This guys got more drama look at this look how big this is the storage space is not that big so stop with your drama and show the boat
For 53' I've seen better layouts. Thanks.
It's not a yacht if the interior hasn't got a little tackyness about it...

i dont like the freeze
WTH? This is guy selling a furnished apartment. No engines, speed, range, nothing of value for on the water travel. sucks.
This guy annoys me but I wanted to see the boat.
This is annoying !
