Every build is a budget build. Some budgets are bigger then others but at the end of the day its still a budget build. I don't have the budget to travel 800 miles to a Micro Center and I'm sure Micro Center will not open a store any time soon in Arizona.
Just finished my build on this base. Budget was very tight, but old PC was having some serious cooling issues, so bite the bullet before it died. I dispensed with a new case, the old case is sufficient with USB access on top, and the fans mounted front (between desks, so side vents wouldn't work). Everything else was new 7400x3d bundle, 1TB ssd, 750W PSU. For graphics I selected RX7600XT - yes lower capabilities, but I have a 1080p monitor limited to 60Hz, and I figure the card can support that without issue. When I get a new monitor (probably next year) I can consider a new graphics card with more capabilities at that time. But as is, I'm happy with the performance, and it's a big improvement over my old i7-8700K (7yo) set up. One issue I did have - I plugged the CPU fan into the wrong connector (there's 2 on the M/B), it was recognized as a secondary fan, BUT the BIOS complained that there wasn't a primary fan - had to disassemble to move the plug.
I’ve been running a build featuring this bundle for the last month or so. 7600x3d, asus tuf b650 Wi-Fi, flare x5 ddr5 (32gb), Samsung 990 evo 2tb, super flower leadex gold 850w, zotac 4070ti super, montech 360aio, all in a montech sky 2 case …. All around the 2,000 dollar mark. I’ve gotta say, it was an expensive build, but man … what an improvement from my previous AM4 build! Couldn’t have done it without microcenter!
@ Build minus the gpu was 1100 out the door at MC, the gpu was bought a month later, and was 900 out the door at MC. I’m no mathematician, but that seems to be 2k to me … hell, just the bundle and gpu alone are like 1250 pre tax … but I appreciate the comment, chief!
Would have made all the difference in the world with this bundle. The included RAM is trash. 40 1 star reviews on their own site alone and that's what they put in
@@dudesk099 i'm not one to defend companies but there are significantly more 5* reviews than 1* plus gskill is actually the leader in ram these days. Microcenter however should be pretty good about replacing parts provided there are issues. That said i do agree if you don't trust the included ram you should be able to upgrade to a different kit.
How come you didn't use the fans that are included with the Montech King 95 case? I believe there's four, 3 intake and 1 exhaust. Or am I thinking of another case? Edit - Disregard. It's the King 95 Pro that comes with pre installed fans
It's a nice build and all, but I can't get past the ketchup and mustard 24 pin connector. I know it's a budget build, but if everything else looks that nice, a few bucks for an extension or a better PSU wouldn't really be uncalled for.
im about to pick one of these up soon, the lower power and temps and price compared to the 9800X3d makes it a winner. the 9800X3d is 37% more expensive and is 16-37% increased perf and it trends to the lower end, only a few titles give it a 30%+ increase
I stopped the email sales info because I can't get to a store very often, and it's mostly "in store only". I live in the Louisville KY area and nearest stores are Indy and Cincy...
went to microcenter for the first time. One guy working the printers was trying, but the guys at the pc parts section seemed annoyed and incredibly unhelpful. The first guy forgot about me, the 2nd guy I asked literally forgot about the parts I was asking for (9800x3d bundle with a 7900gre). Then the kid at the checkout counter seemed like he was contemplating if suicide might be better than working. I spent 2 thousand dollars. I walked out thinking newegg and amazon would have been a better experience.
Used this bundle and made a 1400$ build with it, and I was able to fit a Rx 7900 gre to pair with the CPU. I'm playing on 1080p so this is a beast. 600-1k fps on Val 90 - 600 fps on Minecraft with shaders (lows are the very intense ones) Fortnite, easily 400 - 600 fps Once human (can't recall but definitely smooth as butter on the max preset) I'm not a big triple A fan so I apologize if this wasn't able to help you
That 7700xt is bottlenecking the CPU like crazy. I realize that you wanted all AMD and I guess you wanted to hit the $1k mark but those benchmark results make the CPU look mid in a video focused on the 7600X3D. A better showcase would be pairing the 7600X3D with a 7800xt to show how you can save money on the CPU and put it towards a GPU. And your benchmark results would look better.
Sadly, this company offers no Veteran discounts. Cannot justify a 2hr drive to my closest MC when I end up losing out with the price of gas. Guess I just order from Dell :(
Because people don't trust Intel Chips now & the 9000 series so far has been disappointing performance wise. AMD knows that people want the best chip & the 7800X3d is just that so they make customers pay more. Simple supply & demand .... oh ya I forgot profit and/or greed.
@xtremezone987 definitely agree with all that, especially the greed part, and the cpu is what the team green gpus are. They know they got the market cornered so they can charge anything they want and people will pay it.
Who is this guy? Really good video.
micro center guy
john micro center
crazy that a little stick of gum, has more storage than a HDD. My next build, no question, adding it.

The KING 95 case is really amazing ! It looks even better when fully build.

Just got this for my kiddo for Xmas as an upgrade from his ddr4 12100f system
Same bundle with asus tuf 4070S. Man. Gaming like this is sweet as hell.
Rocking my new 7600x3d bundle with a used 6950xt gpu. Very very happy
Are there any shops making those bundles in Germany?
We need a microcenter in Omaha, NE

2k how is this reaching 2k usd might be 1.5k

I would love to know, how are the Idle Temps with this coooler?
please bring back the mix and match bundles
YES PLZ I NEED AN ITX BUNDLE 😭
I'd like the 7600x3d bundle but I want the better x670-e motherboard for later upgrades.
Would have made all the difference in the world with this bundle. The included RAM is trash. 40 1 star reviews on their own site alone and that's what they put in

Im going pair this buddle with a 7900 gre
Please drop the price of the 7800x3d bundle back to $450, where it was before, when the the 9800x3d drops and we will be good! Thanks!
holy cats, Micro Center has a youtube o.O
Did he or any
of you who have this, enable expo without problems?
Good video. So when is Micro Center coming to Sweden?
how long will this bundle be available i wonder
Wish I can get a 7600X3D. You’ll need to change to shipping. My closest Micro Center is 4 hours away.

Also I disagree with the negative pressure setup. Dust is bad.

Got the Bundle Waiting for it in india
can you please make this cpu available for shipping? It would really cool if you did that.
please make all bundles available for shipping !!

imagine if they shipped they would always be sold out
At least I'd have a chance, slim maybe, but a chance...

i love the 7600x3d bc there's only a bit of difference from 7800x3d and 100 dollars cheaper
you should bring some shops to australia
4070 super for the gpu section
I need a MC in Australia
Can I pair a 4080 super to this build?
yes you can, you can pair this cpu with 4090 easily also.
Gen 4 ssds run cooler as well
I want a micro center near me

I remember when the 7800x3d bundle was only $479! Wish I had pulled the trigger and built my pc.
Great build and I love Micro Center, so much that I spend most of my paychecks there, but this dude is kinda boring.

Why did the 7800x3d bunlde magically just shoot up in price out of nowhere 🤔
