Matador is on my running playlist but I will now add this. And without sounding preachy..if you’re feeling down or fed up or pissed off..go for a run 🏃♀️
A couple of years ago I was a big Coldplay fan, and I read their guitarist’s interview in which he said that this was the song he was listening to back in those days. I’m thankful to him.
He deserves to win the Ivor Novello, the Mercury, Oscar for best director, Nobel Prize for Chemistry, the Big Money round on Family Fortunes, the Balon D’or, and five numbers on the Euromillions too.
whoa. About to go run a marathon by myself because everything's shutdown and I turn this on to get pumped, never having seen the video and i got chills dude
seen these guys in Bristol about a year ago supporting the last shadow puppets, what an amazing band they are live. this song and 20/20 had me hooked 👌 brilliant band!
It's called Dolly Zoom. The camera is moved forwards (or backwards) while it's zooming into the other direction. ruclips.net/video/u5JBlwlnJX0/видео.html
I'm totally shocked that no one is mentioning the weird gaz face in the back of the runner's face. It's odd, right? In such a otherwise beautiful and atmospheric video. Like... why?
Ripe Ripa yök I know it's been a minute since you wrote your comment here, but I had a thought watching this video. I think Gaz's face on the back of the runners symbolizes the voice in the back of our heads. We have this normal guy jogging throughout the video and in life we see people all around us, but we never know what exactly is going on inside - "there's panic in my heart"- All of the shit we find ourselves thinking about at times we'd rather cover up than wear on our sleeves. The guy in the vid keeps the hood up to cover up what's underneath it all, then when he is alone out in the middle of nowhere he lets the hood down and lets it all go where there's no one to look and talk shit about what's underneath, possibly symbolizing the person we are when we are alone to the person we are out in the world - "out in the dark we are heroes" "I can't hide from it all". The song and video ends with guy still running, only stopping for a moment to reflect (let the hood down) on what's inside, but he keeps going. We have to keep pushing, keep going, regardless of what's underneath it all. Either way, this is just a random ass analysis after watching the vid for the first time. Good vid, good music. Peace out.

Always good to watch a man running with great sceneries behind him. I Really enjoy this music.

Quality
buena cancion para correr. Lastima que hayan tenido que editar su braceo en varias ocasiones (mirror). Los que corremos podemos apreciar ese cambio !
Can't understand why Gaz ain't more popular. If Radiohead had released this, would have millions of views!
Not everyone knows gaz unfortunately.
Edinburgh marathon 2016, I have no idea what I will be listening to during training........ Oh hang on.......
Any idea where those hill & mountain shots were filmed? Looks amazing...
Somewhere in Scotland i presume...
Lake District. Honister pass at around 1.50 .. Lake Buttermere later around 4 minutes . Great gable etc in distance
so what were the locations in the video?
James Aitken Buttermere valley I think dude
Escape.
Haweswater Reservoir? Blackpool Sea Front? St Paul's?

and on a less insightful note, Voldemort?
In the back of his mind at some point I think gaz coombes thought that's what he should be like
Your own thoughts are always at the back of your mind
Then he realized he is fine
Bitta Blackpool in there!
URBAN SEASCAPE....one song...well worth the google button.
This video would be much more epic if the guy running was Wim Hof
People are only finding out about that guy now, a true living legend
I'm not understanding the Detroit connection.
Me neither, and I'm from here. Persistence? Grit?
What I really wanna know is, what running shoes are those? ; )
I'm not sure either good tune though I'm from the d
7 people are totally missing the point
"Detroit" just seems so out of place with everything I've just listened and seen
