I had this shoe sitting away in a box somewhere and thought I'd bring them out for one of my indoor ball sessions. Based on my experience as a guard who runs around a lot, the cushion is great and traction is pretty good. However, I experienced a lot of instability when doing quick lateral movements or abrupt changes in direction. On a few occasions I almost rolled my ankle. The Lebron 16 is more durable than the KD 9 but I prefer the the KD 9 overall.
Love the vid and happy that they fixed the issues of the previous model. The price point is high but when Jordan retros go for 190 to 225 it comes back to what will somebody spend
I love the logo on the bottom of the shoe. It reminds me of the 90s . they should of put a big one on the back heels of the shoes! That would of been fire in my opinion
I went 1/2 size down on the LB 15. Should've gone down 1/2 size on this shoe. I did have to put the last two lacing eyelet sets on the bottom. It's a pain in the butt. Otherwise great shoe and it actually feels more cushioned than the 15 likely because the B knit 2 keeps you on top of the footbed more consistently
I tried on a pair a few weeks back. I wear a half size where my right foot fits more snug in certain sneakers. In short, I missed out on these because one foot wasn't comfortable. You def feel the shoe on your foot. The traction and cushion felt A1.
Took mine out on court yesterday. Completely agree on cushion. I'm a big guy around 300lbs. Only thing is for me running in the shoe I have heel slippage and I personally felt unstable. I'm also a wide footed and have a tall foot and these still fit me well. May try cranking the laces down more to see. But if anything this shoe for me will be a perfect casual shoe as I have zero foot pain after wearing them through 2 11hr shifts are work.
for those watching and considering buying in 2021 there is something you should know. Currently there are two model numbers for lebron 16 fresh bred AO2588 002 and AO2595 002. The model which is 2588 is the release version of it and the other one is 2020 release, I've just called a nike employee, checked the database if mine was a fake because my 2595 model had a different material inside the air unit. It turned out that nike changed the design of the inner air unit, it is not constructed with little strings tied to upper and lower shoe, but with a little thicker pillars. Just wanted to let you guys know
For the other colorways for sure it will drop...but for the fresh breds? I doubt it. Its sold out already from where i am. For me, breds and the ''what the'' are a must cop.
These are my fav! Great review and super comfortable. You might have to smooth the tongue out or loosen a little of your left shoe that's bitting down on your foot. Mine did the same but it's cool now

spot on with the review as always. I just hooped in mine a few days ago and I don't think it's a defect on the manufacturing, it dug into my right ankle. I think this is due to how the tongue flaps down when you lace up. When you lace up you will notice the tongue either folds inwards or out on the sides and creates a corner edge where it rubs against the ankles. i wore low socks, so definitely recommend higher socks.
I was like 10 or so when i bought these and i never really played basketball didint even know they where lebrons until like a year ago i wish i could still fit these so i could try them on the court since i play basketball for real now

Yooo! Big time Lebron fan and weekend warrior. I ball 3-4 times per week. Until the 15 I couldn't find a shoe that I could wear for 2+ hours on the court. I grabbed all the 15s I could thinking I'd never play in anything else. Last week I scooped up the Superbrons. I just hooped in em and was SUPER disappointed. The biggest let down was the traction pattern change. The 15s "spikes" are phenomenal on even dusty hardwood, the 16 had me slippin and slidin with the wave pattern. Taking em back and scoping out any 15s left. Hope this helps someone lookin. Love your vids man.
Waited out the 15s and ended up getting a pair for under $100. But my knees and back hurt so bad after playing in them I returned them lol. Will wait these out too
the lack of squeak from traction that works well throws me off...but i guess its all in the mind but without that squeek makes me feel like ill slip.... :( Otherwise the whole shoe i really like.

Now i start to play again but still i feel a little discomfort on my knee I wear bauerfeind knee support with side bar but still it doesnt help. Currently im wearing Air Jordan 32 Now im looking of a better cushioned shoes So in your opinions what should i get ? This lebron 16 ? Kobe protro? or boost ? I just need the best cushioned shoes to ease my knee pain, thank you so much .

I just got these today. They feel very heavy to me, but comfortable, stable, and good traction. They probably feel heavy since all my casual shoes are ultra boosts. I had kd 7 as my basketball shoes, but I have had a sore Achilles , and wanted more support. Not to worried about weight since I usually play 4 spot, and my Opponents are to fast.

Sounds like you have the kids version. Men’s have Zoom Air. Kids have regular Air Max.

The tounge didnt cover my foot. The laces kept digging into my heel. :/ Not a problem I had with the lebron 9 lows
