I was one of the choristers in this video. Bushfires were raging in NSW. We had no idea that in a few months the first COVID lockdown would occur. I will be part of the choir again for my fourth Messiah at Sydney Opera House this weekend for 3 sold out performances. Really looking forward to it.
This rendition is so beautiful. The way the dynamics are arranged causes me to hear this fresh again. Hallelujah chorus brought me to tears… this is a lovely lovey arrangement and interpretation. How blessed you are to have been a part of it!
No doubt we saw you today, congratulations on a superb performance. Who would have thought this video would become a kind of time capsule to a time before the turgid 2020s.
My dad was a Rector in the 1960s. In around 1964, at the age of 6 my dad took me to a performance of Handel's Messiah and pointed me to the score. I was so touched that I began to cry. My dad took me out seeing my distress but I pleaded with him to take me back in. At such a tender age I knew my fallen nature and got soundly saved. Listening to this and singing along gives me comfort because my husband of over 40 years has just passed away. My dad was a musician and by by the age of 8 I was singing the soprano solos from this and other oratorios. Treasure the gift of musicianship. I had an adverse reaction to an anaesthetic in the 1990s that permanently affected my co-ordination. I had to give up playing the piano and driving. However, it is great to be able to belt out in praise alone in my sitting room!
I’m so pleased you enjoyed this performance. I’m one of the sopranos and we perform this every two years at the Opera house in Sydney Australia (alternating with “Christmas carols in the house”). I’m so sorry you have given up playing the piano… I agree you can still sing along! It’s such a privilege to appreciate (perform as well as listen to) music
@@stefaniekokal58 wonderful. I live in the UK but my brother is a professional musician and composer in the Brisbane area. I am a "Stephanie" - living in picturesque Cornwall!
I can relate. I was in chorus rehearsal for “Messiah” when my mother had complications from a hip revision which required our moving in with her in Florida and taking care of her for 8.5 years. My RA affected my hands and feet. I can’t stand long enough and my voice has aged, but I know there is singing in heaven.
I'm so glad that our relationship with Jesus doesn't depend on our emotions or perceptions - but upon the promises in His Word. He is faithful to fulfill all His good Word!
*_ALL, HONOR, PRAISE, PEACE, POWER, HOLY MIGHT, LOVE, BLESSING, GRACE AND GLORY TO OUR MOST PERFECT HOLY HIGH GOD JEHOVAH AND HIS ONLY BEGOTTEN SON YESHUA HA-MASHIACH, JN_**_3:16_**_-19 AMEN!_*
My father listened to this every christmas eve. Straight from a backwoods farm he went to boarding school and eventually became a teacher. He loved all poetry, music, art and literature, and sought it relentlessly during his simple life. It's 2 Christmas since he's gone, but I've taken on the tradition. Thanks for allowing me to hear this, through my father's ears.
Amazing!! I am listening in fond memory of my Father, who loved Classical Music, art, literature, Latin, and Nature(think National Geographic). Requiescat en Pace Daddy. You passed this on.
I have sung this every year of my adult life. When my mother died, she had requested that the Hallelujah Chorus be the last song played at her grave as she was lowered in the ground to "sing me into heaven". I did as she asked and it was a special gift of honor to do so. Just me and her after all left and God and the Angels singing with us. I hope some day I will have the same done for me. At 62 yrs old, it even more important. This performance was just as the score shows and the timing on this choir to slow down and then to pack a punch is so spectacular. Thank you so very much for making my Christmas as I can now only sing in my heart as age and illness has taken my voice to sing, but Jesus is always the same and I can listen to your singing and playing and sing in my heart. Merry Christmas!
One snow-filled blizzard night back in 1962 I got my hands on a transitor radio and heard the Messiah for the first time. As a child I was transfixed, transformed and enthralled by the celestial melodies that drew me into the Heavenly realms. To this day I am moved to tears of praise and adoration for our matchless Savior and the boundless grace of our loving Heavenly Father with this timeless oratorio. As to this performance by the Syndey Opera House it is flawless. What a huge choir! And the soloists are so effortless in their deliveries. Many thanks to them for the countless hours they have put in to mastering their craft. The passion of the countertenor and bass singer, can't put a price on that. I think if I had been there I would have surely fallen out. HALLELUJAH & MARANATHA LORD JESUS!
Handel's Messiah is no doubt the greatest music ever written. I was greatly privileged to sing in the concert given by my university choir. There is nothing like being in the midst of the music onstage.
Christmas morning! I have sung this wonderful music in two choirs and it echoes in my soul. What a beautiful picture of God’s grace and mercy towards us!
There is nothing like Handel’s beautiful baroque music, The Messiah being one of his best works. The soloists here are outstanding. I especially like the countertenor. I’ve sung the soprano solos myself and loved singing them. The orchestra is superb. God Bless all of you 🙏🌟🕊️♥️
Honestly, the tenor's technique and consistency of tone, line and voice was impeccable. The other male soloists can't compare. The ' in and out' of vibrato, tension of jaw, and diphongs seen and heard are not, in my opinion the habits of finished soloists.
Try Marc Antoine Charpentier Liturgical works. Start , say, with Psalm 111. Good listening. Ha forgotten.......The Pearl of pearls, Dietrich Buxtehude. Let me know what you think of him.😊
I sang the Hallelujah chorus as a senior in the high school choir in the 70s and though I've never sang it again the high school performance remained with me in my 69th year in this world!
Ahhhhhh.... I just finished my annual Christmas morning tradition of listening to the Messiah (before my kids wake up), getting goosebumps, and sobbing my eyes out at the pure beauty of it all. This year I chose THIS version. It did not disappoint. WOW. The symphony, the choir, and the soloists are superb. I'm still wiping the tears from my face and blowing my nose. Oh, look, the sun is coming up! Merry Christmas, RUclipsrs!
Amen, May Our Lord and God Jesus Christ Bless us all who stand strong in Our Faith in Christ throughout the world Amen. In The Name of The Father, The Son and The Holy Spirit The Only One True God as it was in the beginning, is now and ever shall be world without end Amen ❤❤❤❤
I don't know either. I completely lose it during the Messiah and also Ode to Joy. I can't handle how good God is during those songs and my voice just utterly fails and I get all weepy.
Thank God, You Tube gave us unconditional love and free will of expression to worship the Lord God of host. May God bless You Tube and everyone that made this possible I pray, amen🙏
This is one of the greatest pieces of music that touches us so deeply that we cannot help but be moved. Everything is perfect; the lyrics, the orchestra, the conductor, the individual voices, the choir... How magnificent! A musical work to be sung to the Most High God, Jehovah, who installed his firstborn and only begotten son, Jesus Christ, as King. Yes, oh sovereign Lord Jehovah, we praise you with all our hearts, and we kiss and honor your dear enthroned son, the Lord Jesus Christ. Hallelujah [Praise Jah]
No other song of praise makes me want to cry as much as the Hallelujah Chorus. There is something so magnificent in the words and music that is overwhelming. Praise God and His Son, Jesus Christ.
Since college, in the 1960s, I have conducted the entire "Messiah" just to stay in practice. The work is a great combination of grandeur, exaltation and gut-wrenching pathos. It is one of the greatest works in all of music ... maybe the best.
I sang in the 800+ Luther College Messiah choir back in 67-70. I had not heard Messiah before that and looked forward to singing each year. I too listen to different versions and different groups singing Messiah and I continue listening gladly and often with tears of joy and remembrance. I was only one of 800+, but as I sang then and now when alone I am uplifted. Thank you for your wonderful performance, will listen a few more times this year and all coming. Joy to All.
This is the BEST presentation that I have ever heard and I am 82 years old and have been a church organist for over 65 years. I currently live in Lima, Peru after living in Fort Lauderdale, FL for 60 years.
@@krs2711 HAha. Three different GFH versions of Messiah. This is the Dublin treatment. Some here appear to not know. There are facts and then, there are 'opinions.' And we all know what opinions mean. I am SO smiling. I totally love this performance.
having learned the entire Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah as a very young girl, I have grown to appreciate it more each year I've increased in age. What a gift the internet has been to allow we in the "check out lane" of life to sing along = we know the words and now on we go to meet the author of these words = God Himself = to sing forever and forever more - Hallelujah
Choral works are tough to perform. You need a great conductor, chorus and wonderful soloists. This performance from Sydney, Australia at their legendary opera house met all of those demands. The performance had tremendous passion and energy. And the camera work was exceptional. The chorus was exceptionally large and their performance was magnificent. This is one of the best RUclips videos in their enormous catalog. If you love classical music, don't miss this one.
One of the greatest performance ever. I assume its a yearly Holliday event. 2020 has been harsh with the Pandamic. Sad to say, the Sydney Opera House remainds empty this year.
Our ABC comes in for a lot of criticism in its news and current affairs area, but in music it continues to be superlative with fabulous care and expertise in its productions. Always a pleasure.
"The Glory of the Lord ..." I can hear my beloved singing in her beautiful soprano voice before our dear Lord - the separation is bearable knowing that one day we will be together to sing of His Glory - we sang in our local Chorus & I still have our chorus books (I was in the Tenor section - it's a joy to sing-a-long) - since the death of my sweetheart the music not only moves me to tears but gives me HOPE - Thank You Jesus
I have listened to this recording probably +50 times this past year. It is exquisite - and the Choir !! I thank God for that moment in time and that it lives on .... it give me, a simpleton, so much holy Joy! We will ALL sing together one fine day ...
@@pamelitahamel All 3 sections have something to say to each of us but at this season for me it is the 3rd. part when "The Trumpet shall sound ..." & the finish with "Amen" - MARANATHA (O Lord Come) - I love hearing praises to God from the simplest to the complex - let His music fill you with His Joy & Peace

Praise God always and He worthy to praise!!! My New Zealand husband told me that this Messiah are the best and the most listeners in this world before he drove off for work. Thank you for God's inspiration upon us .I am Asian appreciate My Savior Christ Jesus.
Magnificent performance to praise Messiah the King of kings, Lord of lords! It's a miracle that Handel completed the musical arrangement in less than 2 months, all 200 plus pages.
I can never have enough of Handel's Messiah since I experienced you live when you performed at mt mother land, Kenya at All Saints Cathedral, Nairobi. You are ever amazing, may God bless and perpetuate your works in generations to come. Samuel Ngeru,
Just found this on YT. An absolutely stunning presentation! Many thanks to Sidney. So much Scripture set to such beautiful music. Praise God for Jesus, the Lamb of God who taketh away the sins of the world.
I thank and praise You O' Lord God for Jesus, the lamb who takes away the sins of the world I praise You Lord God for Your great and unconditional love on us all Your children. Be Thou exalted O' Lord God!!

I cried & worshiped God, I was in His presence Beautiful! To honor our creator Heavenly Father & Savior Lord Jesus with such beautiful music and voices, a glimpse of Heaven ☝🏼🕎📖✝️🩸🔥❤️
Top 15 list at least...as I think harnessing electricity, lightbulb, flight and indoor plumbing are a bit higher on world mind accomplishments than this. 😉
Not exactly though as Jesus has blessed us with other people that were created for one special purpose than to do his bidding and create their masterpiece. Some didn't even know..Michealanngelo as a gift of sculpting but I believe his bidding was the painting of the Sistine Chapel. Have you ever seen it? You are correct in your assesment of this mind as well.
Magnificent. Love watching the faces of the singers during the Hallelujah Chorus. There is something eternal about watching the human spirit rise up and worship God. It's like seeing a light go on.
I do too. I always watch the faces. So much worship...I look to see if their eyes light up with the glory of the music AND the message. I can't make it through the Hallelujah chorus without crying
They aren't worshipping god, they are caught up in the music. I have seen music that has nothing to do with Christianity where people are as caught up in the music. And yes, there is epic music that is not Christian.
It takes a certain flexibility to say that this music is not Christian! Handel composed it in about 24 days and claimed that he saw a vision of God! He thought that he composed this for the glory of God and so do I!
I have sick and sad all day, and feeling like accursed from Gpd in this struggle against sin. But this performance reminds me of the gift of faith that he has given me, to look away from self to him who came to save sinners and call us out of darkness. Thank you heavenly Father. I wish to honor you with my life, with my mind and with my body. What hope these songs fill me as I remember the Christ, the Son of the Living God
Yes❣️ Continue to "fight the good fight of The Faith..." He is worthy; you won't ever regret loving/serving Him with your whole heart, mind, soul, and strength 💟✝️
From its first performance in 1742 to now, the end of 2019, this music has inspired, encouraged and brought people back from hopelessness. Truly Divinely inspired and written in 24 days, this music has lived for 277 years.
A boy (young man) havin delirium tremens entered my room. Every few moments he would stare at some unseen thing in terror. He peed himself while sittin on my bed. I put on the Halleluia Chorus on the cassette player, and he suddenly kneeled down before it exclaimin "Thank you Jesus!" over and over again, until he left the room, apparently relieved of his sufferin.
As a composer, I listen to this work to survey the divinity of creativity blossoming out of the human soul. I know by the harmony and light that engulfs me that God chooses us, as He did Handel, to create the glory of Him that we each carry within.
@@mosespsalm_1108 Moses, you are so very correct that God Almighty gifted Handel with The Messiah, and also the mission to ensure that this music brings to life in every soul's ears the divine evidence of our Father. Your tears are borne of true love emerging as the crystalline proof of God.
When I was a young woman I went with the church I tended, and sat with a young man I later would marry, watching the Adelaide Symphony play Handles Messiah. When the conductor moved his arms up high, and crouched, in rhythm, we could not contain our laughter. And had to awkwardly step on every toe as we got up to leave, snorting! Together we had a beautiful daughter. 5 years after I left him. Now I am 62 and I enjoy listening to the words and flow of this piece. It has an air of Royalty. Processions. It is very structured. However Handle took the words from the bible, and penned them here. He shall reign. Jesus Is the centre of Christmas. Yet now getting diluted.
Started by King James. When he heard it sung it was so epic he had to stand and when the King stands... Everyone stands. It became traditional-like standing when the bride enters.... VERY cool.
@@garrettmontgomery1890 I have also heard it said that he was actually asleep and suddenly woke up to think it was 'God Save the King' and scrambled to his feet for that. Not sure this is true, though, as he would be the one person who wouldn't stand up for that...
We listen and watch this particular performance of the Messiah every year since discovering it in 2020. Our favorite by far! Thank you for doing the entire masterpiece as the message of the Gospel is pure in its entirety. Our hearts are in worship to our Lord and Savior King, Jesus Christ.

"I know that my Redeemer liveth..." No greater thing can a person know in life. Jesus is the Great Redeemer who bought us back through his shed blood from the depths of sin and spiritual death. Our GREAT hope is found in Jesus the Christ.
@Hona Hona It may not be long at all. We don't know. Somebody at my church has reason to believe that he'll return in 2068, although I can't remember why.
Wonderful performance. At 600 voices the chorus is almost Victorian in size, but how light the texture and how crisp the articulation. Well done everybody.
I watched this last Christmas Day, here in Cornwall, and decided I must watch it again today, Christmas 2020. So beautiful, dispels all the troubles of the world

Humanity, here and in a myriad of ways, expresses the glory of God our Maker and Redeemer. This God who took it upon Himself (on a cross) to establish our right and power to exist with Him in Christ forever: "Who ever lives and believes in me shall never die!" Merry Christmas
TO GOD ALONE BE ALL THE GLORY. Handel Proved that Jesus is The Messiah. Hallelujah. Timeless Effortless Speechless Priceless. Thanks for Sydney Philharmonia Choirs by performing practically pretty painfully perfect.
listening Christmas Eve 2023! wow the most beautiful Concert of Handel's Messiah have seen-ever! joy for over 2 hrs !Ty! Merry Christmas, look up how Handel received 52 notes of scripture and locked himself in room frantically produced this work ...really amazing story .Glory to God ! Immanuel precious Jesus
Praise be His Holy Name! To YOU be ALL glory, honor and praise! Thanks be to the Lord for just a tiny glimpse of YOUR magnificence! Thank you for this performance 12-25-2023!
I'd never heard a countertenor take the part of an alto in Handels Messiah before. Also I'd never heard the Amen broken down into parts like that before. Little things like these made this performance exceptional. Bravo!
What a stunning performance. I love this version with the upbeat tempo. You rarely hear this with a counter tenor soloist. I am watching this while under Covid-19 quarantine . What a joy. Truly a reason to rejoice!
Having sung with the LOndon based Handel Opera Society for 30 yrs, and having sung Messiah many times and was delighted to listen to the performance as a Good Friday reflection. Beautiful rendering.
AMAZING!! in every way with the PRAYER that the HONOR AND GLORY OF GOD our Heavenly Father shine upon all His children, and bring peace and FAITH to all those who do not yet believe in CHRIST JESUS, so that they will. BRING All Nations into Your Bosom, oh Lord, with Ps. 91. Gods blessings upon all of you.
Just went to Handel's Messiah last Friday here in Victoria B.C. always a highlight of the season. and here I am listening and watching it again! So beautiful.
Just came across this beautiful version, then I kid you not, yours was the very first comment I read, so very coincidental! Am in Victoria too, visiting for family Christmas, but just went to 3 Messiah performances in Vancouver over the last few weeks, as well as one Messiah Sing-Along! And yes, always a highlight of my season too, it is my favourite above all, I look forward to it all year! And oh my this is a very beautiful, superb version, thank you to this very talented symphony and choir! Extraordinary the size of the choir too! Anyway, amazing coincidence, thanks MC, great minds!!
@@glenngreig4192 Wow, 3 Messiah performances in the past few weeks. Were they in various venues? Here in Victoria there are only 2 performances and they are not full which is very surprising considering others I have seen online are packed to the rafters. Have a wonderful Christmas!
This masterpiece has been my lifetime favorite since high-school days, when I directed the Student Choir of a church in Korea sing #3 And the glory of the Lord, and #44 Hallelujah. Later I have had great joy to sing the choruses of the whole piece at least 7-8 times. Now the whole music will stay in my heart forever.
This has captured me. I sing in a choir and to see this multitude of singers and all the instruments and ...I can't explain how happy I feel right now ...
I think what I like best about this performance is the fact they are acting as well as singing. Nice. Most times the singers are expressionless. Proclaiming the coming of the Lord ought to bring at least a smile to your face.
Standing ovation and bravo from Gettysburg, Pa. I am a regular listener of the Messiah both in concert and recordings. By far and away the BEST I ever heard!! Well done, all!
I really love the messiah. I once sang ''the trumpet shall sound'' at my church. these songs will never die. I know that one day I will sing all these songs in heaven and meet G.Handel there.
I was lucky enough to be part of a music choir in Oklahoma and a lot of schools got together with orchestra and filled the auditorium that Johnny Carson’s band leader built for his hometown! It was only filled with music! Back then I could sing high soprano and I will NEVER forget it!❤❤❤

I was one of the choristers in this video. Bushfires were raging in NSW. We had no idea that in a few months the first COVID lockdown would occur. I will be part of the choir again for my fourth Messiah at Sydney Opera House this weekend for 3 sold out performances. Really looking forward to it.
This is an incredible performance.
This rendition is so beautiful. The way the dynamics are arranged causes me to hear this fresh again. Hallelujah chorus brought me to tears… this is a lovely lovey arrangement and interpretation. How blessed you are to have been a part of it!
Congratulations 🎉❤

A bit odd. I cry too, but because of the beauty of the music, not from recognizing my "fallen nature."
You were blessed more than you know.

Simplicity is the highest honor given to man.
May God bless you and your family.❤
So beautiful!
Amazing!! I am listening in fond memory of my Father, who loved Classical Music, art, literature, Latin, and Nature(think National Geographic). Requiescat en Pace Daddy. You passed this on.
Brotha, you can be a member of the Royal Family and have no class, nor depth or culture. Your father had it in his soul. God bless ❤️🙏

Breathtaking worship of the King of Kings - Yeshua!!

Bravo
...it's certainly right up there as one of the greats.
Joy to All.

having learned the entire Christmas portion of Handel's Messiah as a very young girl, I have grown to appreciate it more each year I've increased in age. What a gift the internet has been to allow we in the "check out lane" of life to sing along = we know the words and now on we go to meet the author of these words = God Himself = to sing forever and forever more - Hallelujah
I had the great pleasure to sing this masterpeace with Brisbane Choir in november 2010. It was a celestial night.
I politely disagree with only one observation. Camera work, notably the lack of good angles of the chorus during their singing was disappointing.

@@mosespsalm_1108 Moses, you are so very correct that God Almighty gifted Handel with The Messiah, and also the mission to ensure that this music brings to life in every soul's ears the divine evidence of our Father. Your tears are borne of true love emerging as the crystalline proof of God.

This is my first time listening to the entire oratorio. I'd love to understand the words being sung too. The worship of The Almighty Living God is gorgeous to hear, we need more composers with such strong emotions for this old world.
in the world.
I know that my Redeemer liveth. And that He reign forever and ever more, amen🙏
"I know that my Redeemer liveth..." No greater thing can a person know in life. Jesus is the Great Redeemer who bought us back through his shed blood from the depths of sin and spiritual death. Our GREAT hope is found in Jesus the Christ.
AMEN! May He return one day!
@Hona Hona It may not be long at all. We don't know. Somebody at my church has reason to believe that he'll return in 2068, although I can't remember why.
Amen!
Amen!
@@therealtornadosam for sure and it will be soon. Be Blessed, saint and faithfull
Wonderful performance. At 600 voices the chorus is almost Victorian in size, but how light the texture and how crisp the articulation. Well done everybody.
One of the greatest operas ever written.
''Messiah' is actually an oratorio! Think of it as a "sacred" opera. 🎶
Not an opera...
Not ashamed to admit my eyes are moist through the whole performance.
A foretaste of heaven - a truly phenomenal performance of the greatest oratorio of all time! Thank you so very much!
I watched this last Christmas Day, here in Cornwall, and decided I must watch it again today, Christmas 2020. So beautiful, dispels all the troubles of the world
I'm with you from the USA. So splendid a rendition, I may never listen to another.
Awesome
"Be still and know that I Am God." In majesty we sing to Him, all glory and honor to our King!
Thank you all for sharing your talents. From the Philippines.
Amazingly beautiful! Moves one to tears of joy. A Very Merry and Blessed Christmas to All. Praise Our Lord and Savior. ✝️
Agree. Viewing in 2023.
Humanity, here and in a myriad of ways, expresses the glory of God our Maker and Redeemer. This God who took it upon Himself (on a cross) to establish our right and power to exist with Him in Christ forever: "Who ever lives and believes in me shall never die!" Merry Christmas
Amen!
Merry Christmas. m H. I love this music for it.

And was born to redeem us!
@Daniel cool hi there
Great to listen to just before Easter 2020 especially when all Churches are closed because of Covid-19. "Comfort ye my people"

Wonderful performance.
Me encanto ! Dios lo bendiga
What a joy. Truly a reason to rejoice!
the counter tenor is exceptional, it is a rare voice
May you recover soon!
Amen!

Not the easiest piece to play !
Having sung with the LOndon based Handel Opera Society for 30 yrs, and having sung Messiah many times and was delighted to listen to the performance as a Good Friday reflection. Beautiful rendering.
Blessed morn of joy n glory chancing upon this after an Easter Sunday of uric acid induced pain!
AMAZING!! in every way with the PRAYER that the HONOR AND GLORY OF GOD our Heavenly Father shine upon all His children, and bring peace and FAITH to all those who do not yet believe in CHRIST JESUS, so that they will. BRING All Nations into Your Bosom, oh Lord, with Ps. 91.
Gods blessings upon all of you.
One of the Magnificent Wonders of the World !
i absolutely love this entire production. It is a total delight to drive around singing as loud as i can along with their voices! my heart rejoices.
Imagine in Heaven thousand and tens of thousands of Holy angels Giving Glory to the Holy Trinity and the magnificence of their praises.
Amen I am so looking forward to seeing Jesus face to face and hearing the millions of angels worshipping him too.
If we as humans can produce such amazing pieces, imagine what the angelic beings actually sing in Heaven.
Thank you. Only version which enabled me to find the beautiful “I know that my Redeemer liveth” and the Hallelujah chorus.
So many languages here upon earth - but can only whisper compared to the music of God the Father and those who sing with Him in heaven.
I never tire of this music. What a magnificent performance!!!
Thank you, Aussies! So sorry about your high temps and fires! Sending love from Florida in the US.
This has captured me. I sing in a choir and to see this multitude of singers and all the instruments and ...I can't explain how happy I feel right now ...
It was so diverse in age. I loved seeing the generations worshipping together. It's a little like heaven
My first complete Messiah. Extraordinary in every way. Bravo to all the performers.
How amazing was that, even Charles my budgie joined in, pam
I think what I like best about this performance is the fact they are acting as well as singing. Nice. Most times the singers are expressionless. Proclaiming the coming of the Lord ought to bring at least a smile to your face.
I agree! If this doesn't move you, nothing will! ☺️
As I was...they were in the "zone"!
The best music never dies...
Praise God! We shall be changed! Thanks be to God, who giveth us the victory through our Lord Jesus Christ. A m e n ! (Wonderful!!!)
May you have a Blessed Christmas!
@@Rubiastraify - Thanks! You too!
Amen!
Standing ovation and bravo from Gettysburg, Pa. I am a regular listener of the Messiah both in concert and recordings. By far and away the BEST I ever heard!! Well done, all!
Wonderful! Brought tears of memories of Easter Sunday at church! Hallelujah Chorus was the Benediction every year!
Magnificent! Glory Be To God!
I really love the messiah. I once sang ''the trumpet shall sound'' at my church. these songs will never die. I know that one day I will sing all these songs in heaven and meet G.Handel there.
Superb! What a performance by Sydney Philharmonia Choirs!
Brava! Best performance I’ve heard. The soloists (voice & instrument) were incredible. The orchestra & choir perfection.
I have spent Christmas afternoon in Cornwall, England, watching this. What a truly brilliant performance.
I was lucky enough to be part of a music choir in Oklahoma and a lot of schools got together with orchestra and filled the auditorium that Johnny Carson’s band leader built for his hometown! It was only filled with music! Back then I could sing high soprano and I will NEVER forget it!❤❤❤
This is the billionth :p time I have watched this. I just, have found nothing better. Bless y'all . 🤗
