You may still be young, but you are already one incredible woman. Our country would do well to have many many more of you. Thanks for the videos. You show most of us a side to life we don't ever get to see.
I can remember playing with the barn cats on my grandparents farm. That was 60 years ago. They used to load up hay bails in the field with horse pulled wagon.I love watching all of you farm. Brings back memories even though you're just a tad more modern.😂❤
These are the kind of videos to explain why you have so many subscribers. This shows discipline in work, management of a task, willingness to do the hard stuff, versatility in doing many different things,.... Great video, keep up the good work!

I love it when you do your posts when I come into the house for dinner (I'm a farmer like you two; and I don't say "lunch" for the noon meal) so I can watch your video while I eat. Made many trips, myself, hauling my grain to the Mississippi River terminals to the east of my farm. Have also hauled corn to the ethanol plant east of Macon, MO; and recognize the ethanol plant you're hauling to west of town on US34. Actually, and as usual, I, WAS, "happier" at the end of your video.
You all make it fun to come along for the ride. My days in grain bins were my least favorite. I felt gritty and sticky for a week afterwards. The milo bins were the worst. Being a farm/ranch we had a wide variety of jobs to do. My favorite was going around and checking on our cattle. We had pastures in 2 countries, and a couple thousand head of Angus. Tending the cattle was a 7 day a week job. We had alfalfa, Prarie hay, wheat, milo and sorghum for crops. Still, to this day, it is my favorite job, even with all of the work and hours.
Dear Laura, your presence, personality and beautiful smile are so amazing, inspiring and heartwarming. Thank you for being who you are and thank you for the opportunity to see your fantastic work.🌹
Nothing better to finish a working day petting a purring cat, let alone a Pepper purring one🙂 It has a calming effect on people, and carries a healing frequency of 170Hz! Nice job done by the farming trio on Laura farms.
That was really great footage on the massive job of getting the corn from the bens into the semi trailer. Love your attitude, patience, safety concerns, and overall consideration of your farm, family, animals, and everyone you come in contact with during your work day! ❤😊 So educational and entertaining. Your Dad let me ride with him in the sprayer on Monday. That was so much fun! Riding with you in the combine a few years ago was also a blast! I get to see your perspective on occasion, so I love that. There are still a gazillion things on the farm that I have not experienced yet….so, anytime you or Cale can take me along, I’m up for that. Riding in the semi to unload beans or corn would be really cool 😉. I still haven’t ridden in the tractor 🚜 yet either. It’s so wonderful to have talented knowledgeable farmers leading this family 🥰 Love you to pieces!!! Grammy
You did very good girl. I've been a truck driver over 40 years. I haul asphalt. Anyway, when you drive in to a tunnel like that, look straight out the other end of that tunnel. Trust yourself. You'll be centered. Also, nice job shifting without the clutch. I'm proud of you. Thanks for the videos. Have fun.that one
Good morning Sunshine! It's so good to see you all today. Did you darken your hair? The end scene looked as though it was a darker color, maybe it was the lighting. Thanks for sharing the activity with me today. The truck horn is pretty puny but made me smile. The rain is truly a God send and will benefit you and Grant in the long run. Have a great week and be safe. Larry, Central Valley, Ca.
Look at you girl floating the gears and Jaking. I have 49 yrs and about 4 million miles behind me. And the work side of it well you got me there. No way at 68 we don't have that manual labor thing. I love you guys keep them coming I look forward to watching them.
I've driven over 40 years and considering you don't get near the miles I do, I think you do a pretty darn good job driving. I think I'd enjoy hauling corn and beans, I like the idea of the bottom dump looks like fun. In my mind it's like playing with a big tonka truck it' just that enjoyable of a job too me. Keep up the good work.
Thank you for producing content that is 'safe' watching guaranteed for the whole family, and without feeling the need to make dramas and create adrenaline rushes. I love the peace and competence! X
What did I learn today? There is nothing more enjoyable to watch then a happy team working together at a task that may not be their favorite, but is equally important as any other. This is way more riveting than any sitcom on TV. Love following your life farming!
I am not a farmer but got to work at a grain elevator with my Dad for a while . That was the best job I ever had . I loved going out to all the farms and delivering feed to the best people in the country. You guys are Rockstar in my book ! I love watching you videos because it takes me back (way back) to my youth . You have all my best wishes .
Laura, your guys worked your Fannie’s off! I see the dust on you are you are tired. We used to clean out my Dads chicken barn, 3 floors. After those years and then I went into the military? Military life was a delicious life!!!!!! Some Guys actually weeped, we farm boys were smiling and enjoying exercising and eating!!! You guys rock!!! ❤❤❤❤❤
I recently retired, last month, from a career as an airline pilot. I did it for 31 years and 28 days. Before that, I flew in the Air Force for 9 1/2 years, but as a kid, all I wanted to do was to be a farmer. Working the land and growing crops or animals is something I've always loved and watching you work that corn bin and drive it to market is very impressive. Your editing skills are right on and your narrative is just right along with your music selection. Great seeing you and stay safe from all those pesky tornadoes out there! BTW My oldest son, Alex is an Air National Guard pilot up in Souix City! Cheers!
Running a sweep auger and cleaning out a grain bin is definitely a tedious task but when all done is so rewarding in more ways than one. That was one of my first jobs on the farm back when I was 8 years old (1977) and I started learning what hard work was. You are a go getter. Gage seems to be a perfect fit for your farm operation and is ambitious.
Hello! If you're grain bin has a blade type dryer blower I recommend you install a reversing switch on the fan motor. Running the fan in reverse when you are inside the bin pulls the dust down and also pulls fresh air into the bin where you are working.
If axial flow 3 phase just swap any 2 wires of the 3 phase or if single phase unbolt the fan and reverse the entire fan and one more item please wear a quality mask, your lungs are very precious. This is 48 years of experience .
A single phase motor can be easily reversed by installing a properly wired DPDT 2 position toggle switch wired into lead numbers 5 and 8. Just don't switch it during the first few seconds of start-up.
Dad served in the Air Force for 28 years, flew fighter aircraft in WW II, Korea and served in Vietnam but, he was, at heart, an Iowa farm boy. I've spent my share of time on the farm! Your videos bring back memories! Now I'm living in Northern Idaho, farming trees!
Farming requires a lot of skill, working machinery, and luck with the weather, but at the end of the day it still involves a lot of manual labor in some trying conditions. Well done any have a great weekend!
your grandpa would be so proud, watched how his funeral affected you . I don't through my feet over the seat either. I'm a 70 year old and cleaned out more bins than i want to know. for 50 years, thinks like this are never known unless you where there. Laura you seem to embrace framing, ever part of farming . I would love to see you and grant do this in real life. your channel is the real deal keep doing it .I shouldn't need to watch farming, you and grant are the best team i have ever seen. Keep it up I love you both.
Great video from great people. Thank you Laura Grant and Case for showing the world what farming is all about. We all see corn growing in the fields but have no idea about all the hard work it takes to plant harvest and get to market. The farmers of America don’t get the credit they deserve for keeping America going. Thank you guys from the bottom of my heart. Much love
I don't know why but I really look forward to you posting your videos. I'm a retired Marine and have never worked on a farm but I enjoy watching your videos more than some of the other sites I subscribe too.
Great job Laura when you go under your tractor make sure you turn off the ignition because the radar Units in the centre of the transmission will damage your eyes keep on the grey work
You and Grant are awesome farmers, and I must stay awesome people. Laura you are a smart, skilled, empowered and caring woman. You are a great example to other women in today's turbulent world. Keep going strong I believe you are making a difference greater than you know!!!!
I really enjoy your content. I miss the connection I had with farming when I was a kid. My family members that farmed have all passed away, your videos bring back some of that connection I had with agriculture. I've learned so much from you.
Thank you for showing how farming is and that you are showing where things come from so people don't think that things don't just magically appear in stores!!!
Love you guys,Laura! The only thing worse than what you just did (as a teen I cleaned out many corn and grain bins) , is going underneath the pit where corn has leaked onto the underneath pit floor and has about 3 inches of water from heavy rains leaking on the floor. When the weather gets warmer, it becomes full of unbelievably stinking maggots, wiggling around and wearing knee high rubber boots, you have to use a shopvac and suck them up until the floor is dry!!!!! When you go back to the Quonset hut to eat lunch, none of the other farm hands want to sit at the lunch table with you! 😂
Who could ask for more! Laura showing us the different jobs on the farm. Nice to see you are still managing to receive some income this time of the year. Love from Mike. ❤
Good sound track! Those old aluminum grain shovels bring back memories of scooping off corn and beans. Years ago I knew guys who worked in the Freightliner Truck factory when it was still in Chino, California. It was fun to see how they were built.
Sprinkling here now. It has been a wet and windy spring. NO complaints. I'm SW of Chicago ~40mi. I'm 75 and the only thing about the weather that concerns me has to do with bicycling 20-30miles/day. Gotta do something to keep out of trouble. I would LOVE to have worked on a farm. In HS and a couple of years thereafter I worked at Peterson Mfg and made all those universal dual tractor/combine wheels before JD and others started doing it themselves. Happy daze they were. Loved your video. You're a very pretty young lass. Keep it up and stay safe.
Sadly, mowing the yard while sipping ice tea, I was unable to watch as I went. My twin brother was emptying bins this week so I know the process. I will compliment you on such a fine job of mixing your audio music, voices and video together. Audio is about 50% of a good video in my opinion. Keep up the good work. The Lord is Blessing you. He is blessing you guys right now
I enjoy watching your vedios, so many people out there should watch and learn what it takes to do a job with excellents and great work ethics. The worst thing that ever comes out of your mouth during trying times is "Bummer Dude", that's so refreshing to hear!
We call that type of air conditioning, Air Conditioning by Armstrong...😁 Favorite part of trucking, waiving to other truckers. 🤣 They do make semi trucks with automatic transmissions. 😃 Thank you for taking us along on your bin cleanout. Really cool and educational. 😁
I'm not a farmer but had family from McCook to Ceresco, NE. Fields look great. No stranger to wide-open spaces and love this part of the country. Thank you for all the HARD work you farmers put in, day after laborious day. God bless each and every one of you. Even Gage!
This came through in my feed. I'm quite fascinated! I had never seen the full process of harvesting corn. Mad respect for the farmers! I appreciate the hard work, of bringing food to the table.
November 10, 2024.. I just want to thank you and all the farmers for an amazing and hard job that you do.. without your hard work we don't eat..I appreciate you..thank so much..keep it up.
Good Video ! Laura, Huge tip ! How to Put on & off a belt without tools. 19:30 --- Tip - To Put a Belt on. It's called walking the belt on. Put belt on the smaller pulley , then put the belt on the bigger pulley by starting at one part of big pulley & turn big pulley holding belt in place walking the belt around the big pulley till the end and it will pop over the edge. keep fingers clear at last edge of belt before it pops over edge. You Can Roll off a Belt this a way too for inspection or replacing belts. no tools needed. to remove a belt - pull off belt at big pulley edge and turn pulley backwards to spin off belt.
Laura, as far as the rain goes, you know the phrase- don't look a gift horse in the mouth! My first time in Nebraska was in 1995; a few years ahead of your time. At the end of June that year, the Platte was still quiet high and Wyoming was GREEN! SOMEONE, PLEASE GET THIS GIRL A BETTER AIR HORN!
Any day Laura posts a video of Nebraska farming is a great day. I thoroughly enjoy these teaching moments with the 3 of you. My back aches after watching you 3 sweep out the floor of the bin with the shovels. A job very nicely completed! Cheers and blessings from New Zealand, where it's getting colder and darker, David ❤💛💚
The wing window is by far one of the most underrated accessories in the automotive industry. It's so sad they did away with them. And to whoever is in charge of cup holders...... may your coffee always be cold and ice always hot.
WING WINDOWS Yep........One of the finest thing fitted to my VW Beetles, when I owned them back in the late 1960's and 1970's. Nothing to go wrong with them as per an electic window.. Come to that the wind-down window and the wing windows were as basic as could be yet extremely functional. Then some bright spark in the automotive sales and design teams thought we had to have electric windows. More stuff to sell us when something goes wrong..... A case of taking a step backwards of ever there was one.......! Jam,es Hennighan Yorkshire, England
I am not sure what Gage has in mind for his career future. But I could see him going for a trade school. Something like mechanics, fabrication, welding, or something agricultural related. So he could potentially be there even longer if the pay matches his certification level I am sure. You guys treat him like he is your own son. The respect and kindness you give him. May keep him there for a lifetime. Laura and Grant you are the boss that everyone deserves 💯
As your operations get bigger , and your RUclips skills , Promotions of Farm Machinery and Speaking Engagements takes over your life , you are going to need a skilled ‘Farm Manager’ who can take over Farming operations when your not there . And this may include an additional workforce of 5 to 10 Workers who will also need a Leader too . Gage could be that Man !
My Dad farmed from the days of horse drawn equipment until the days of self-propelled equipment!! None as sophisticated as the things you have!! But his most HATED job of the year was combining oats!! Now this was open face tractor, no A/C or climate control!! His favorite horses were Belgians because of their quiet nature!
Nice to see a r95 dust mask on Laura in the grain elevator. A respirator would be much safer. I've known farm workers and farmers that have died slow agonizing deaths from lung disease. I'm hoping the people in this video know more about it than I do and that they will be just fine.
I was thinking the exact same thing as I was watching them, young and healthy, do the same work that many die from later on. Team work is so important to help prevent dying alone, helpless, in those grain elevators.
@@johnr.6029 This guy seem really smart. So I'm hoping they're aware of all the idiosyncrasies and dangers of that workplace. I think there's a family lineage to have learned from. I hope so.
That's one of your best videos yet. Your showing the true work involved with farming and how hard it really gets. Besides seeing you in your true working conditions and covered in dirt making your hair look gray was just a little taste of what you heading for in a short time with life being so short. I love how patient Grant is with you just luring how to drive a truck. You did great for the first run in a while. Great video Lara and keep up the hard work.
i miss the swing windows. they were awesome at moving air in the truck on hot days. now you have to use the A/C or suffer. And it doesn't matter how long you drive your still learning. I drove 22 years and was still learning new things when till i retired.
Cleaning bins can be a chore sometimes. Especially cleaning the bin that has a cone bottom, that is sloped instead of flat metal to walk on is the worst cleaning. having a grain vac inside helps to clean while we clean the slopes on the cone bottom bins.
modern farming.... i'm old. how old am i?? old enough to have shoveled cob corn out of the bin onto a flat conveyor to a corn sheller. worst day was when the skunk rode the conveyor into the sheller...yea...bad.. also made more than a few dollars every summer stacking 75 pound hay bales in the hay lofts of several farms. talk about sweaty. love watching your vids of modern farming.
First time commenting - loved this video. Watched with full attention, end to end and I found it to be very interesting. I've been watching your videos for at least a couple years now - this has to be the best one. Big thumbs up!!
I was happy to hear you have a Safety protocol while in the bin. I've never been, nor am i a farmer, but I live in a farming community, where stories abound, so I respect it.
Your videos should be shown in schools for career days, give kids an idea of what a real rewarding job is. The ups and downs and how you cope. If anything, they will learn where their food comes from. You are verry good at explaining what you do.
I grew up on a farm and although it was rewarding, it's also a back breaking adventure that I would never repeat since I am retired from the farm I don't get around to much anymore but back when I was doing it we didn't have any of the fancy stuff today
Nice to see young ambitious people taking care of business and working hard to achieve their goals. Gives us all hope for another generation of farmers to feed America. Good job and blessings for another good year.
Thank you for being on you tub you are taking me back to my roots when me and my dad farm back in the 1970s and 1980s those were the good old days but he is gone now but I still remover those days thank you

He is blessing you guys right now
👍👍
Great videos loved loading corn empty bins for seasons corn build muscle on your arms great truck driving😊
Never been a farmer but I love Laura's videos!
👍👍
Thank you miss Laura for all u do. You are sooo LOVED and definitely Blessed ... ✝️
Great camera work! ❤from Texas
Grant knows how to get views and subscribers
Thank you!
Y’all are so fun to watch
Thanks for sharing and a glimpse into your world.
The Lawn looks awesome and thick
Excellent VIDEO,
from a mature young lady. ❤
I enjoy watching your vedios, so many people out there should watch and learn what it takes to do a job with excellents and great work ethics. The worst thing that ever comes out of your mouth during trying times is "Bummer Dude", that's so refreshing to hear!
Love that horn. Sounds like Popye the sailor man.
The corn dust all over you shows what Granny Laura may look like some day.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I'm not a farmer but had family from McCook to Ceresco, NE. Fields look great. No stranger to wide-open spaces and love this part of the country. Thank you for all the HARD work you farmers put in, day after laborious day. God bless each and every one of you. Even Gage!
Your grass is beautiful
🤣 I certainly can't argue with you there. (LOL)
This came through in my feed. I'm quite fascinated! I had never seen the full process of harvesting corn. Mad respect for the farmers! I appreciate the hard work, of bringing food to the table.
Good morning Laura Farms ❤
You are one tough little girl and a great truck driver. Love your videos you guys ❤❤❤❤❤.
I ENJOYED WATCHING THE VIDEO LAURA AND GRANT ❤
November 10, 2024.. I just want to thank you and all the farmers for an amazing and hard job that you do.. without your hard work we don't eat..I appreciate you..thank so much..keep it up.
I come from a long line of family farmers..
Great job
Good Video !
Laura,
Huge tip !
Now that's ALOT of Corn. Stay Safe God Bless
😍😍👍👍
I love the snort of your truck.
😁😁😁😁😁😁
WING WINDOWS
Yep........One of the finest thing fitted to my VW Beetles, when I owned them back in the late 1960's and 1970's.

Nice job Laura
6:36 - Smart decision Grant! Happy wife, happy life!
Enjoyed the visit..ya'll got a bunch done in spite of the rain..
Good job team!!
C ya on the next video!
Preciate ya'll!!
👍🐺🧙♂️👌
Grant - A project for you - build a cup holder for Laura that she can place on the floor of the truck. I am sure she would be greatful!
A roll of duct tape works just fine for a cup holder on the floor in those!!
i miss the swing windows. they were awesome at moving air in the truck on hot days. now you have to use the A/C or suffer. And it doesn't matter how long you drive your still learning. I drove 22 years and was still learning new things when till i retired.
Brings back memories. I no longer store grain, just haul it straight to town and let them dry and store it.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Cleaning bins can be a chore sometimes. Especially cleaning the bin that has a cone bottom, that is sloped instead of flat metal to walk on is the worst cleaning. having a grain vac inside helps to clean while we clean the slopes on the cone bottom bins.
Is it me or does she just keep getting better looking & better looking. Great video!
modern farming.... i'm old. how old am i?? old enough to have shoveled cob corn out of the bin onto a flat conveyor to a corn sheller. worst day was when the skunk rode the conveyor into the sheller...yea...bad..
also made more than a few dollars every summer stacking 75 pound hay bales in the hay lofts of several farms. talk about sweaty.
love watching your vids of modern farming.
Laura 🥰🥰🥰
First time commenting - loved this video. Watched with full attention, end to end and I found it to be very interesting. I've been watching your videos for at least a couple years now - this has to be the best one. Big thumbs up!!
Grant how did you get so lucky to have the cutest truck driver around😂
👍👍👍👍👍👍
I was happy to hear you have a Safety protocol while in the bin. I've never been, nor am i a farmer, but I live in a farming community, where stories abound, so I respect it.
Your videos should be shown in schools for career days, give kids an idea of what a real rewarding job is. The ups and downs and how you cope. If anything, they will learn where their food comes from. You are verry good at explaining what you do.
I would think every job is rewarding.
I grew up on a farm and although it was rewarding, it's also a back breaking adventure that I would never repeat since I am retired from the farm I don't get around to much anymore but back when I was doing it we didn't have any of the fancy stuff today
Larson farms maybe ,more realism in 20 seconds ,and no pretentious rubbish.
Tak!
NICE GRASS !! 🧐😳👍👍😎😎😎🇺🇸🇺🇸⚘️⚘️❤️❤️
You're all a group of hard-workers. Thanks for what you do!
Rare to witness anyone who works as hard. You win all the lotteries.
👍👍👍👍👍👍
Nice to see young ambitious people taking care of business and working hard to achieve their goals. Gives us all hope for another generation of farmers to feed America. Good job and blessings for another good year.
Party time for the cluckers!
Thank you for being on you tub you are taking me back to my roots when me and my dad farm back in the 1970s and 1980s those were the good old days but he is gone now but I still remover those days thank you
Pepper's a great mascot for your show.
Been an Iowa boy all my life, but not on a farm. I really appreciate the way you explain everything. Keep rocking!
