30k is a good guess. I actually made a google spreadsheet while watching this:
The total is roughly 50448.1 USD
Basement alone is 39482
Office is 7513
Gallery is 3453.1 (I took the liberty to add 10 cent for the grado headband)
You could probably add another grand or 2 just for replacement pads.
What a Madman
Still less than an HE-1
And probably another $5k in cables
@@PhoggHawk always look at the bright side of life. Doo doo doo doo doo doo doo doo
Imagine if his house got robbed....
I'm famous! Zeos mentioned me in a video! I'm the "some guy" that bought the gold planars. Only they weren't $300 they were $420.69. They are not perfect for sure, but the detail is fantastic and they do have the godly soundstaging and imaging. A slight eq in 4k and 9k fixed vocal forward tracks. But most other stuff needed no adjustment.
I hope time will come once in my life when i find a zmf headphones in my house accidentally 😅
Zeos the curator. Two hours of riveting narrative and thanks for the time stamps. Can't wait for the speaker tour. Curiosity has me yearning for tours of IEM's, DAC's, Amps, etc.!
Been watching since you did a review of the koss pro dj100s. Thanks for sticking around for so long bringing great content to us all.
Thanks for the video Zeo's, not sure why but always looking forward to these yearly updates.
after watching alot of youtube to find my new setup parts i found you, now i got an ifi zendac v2 and a pair of sundara and feel like im set for life. thanks mah dude really great recommendations
You sir, are the reason for my purchase of the sundards, along with a Schiit stack to drive them. I thank you!
I bought the Sundaras used on ebay for $250 a few months ago based largely on your glowing review and I've been incredibly satisfied.
Just know I was waiting on another video like this and I was not disappointed thank you Zeos
Love the GL2000 headphones had them since they came out all my friends love them, so if you get a good set its going to be a great experience
surprised you dont have a focal elegia. seemed like you really liked them.
i agree about the t60 argons. i use them with suede pads and the mt-604 more than any other pair i have. so good.
Every collection of awesomely amazing things only makes them significantly better.
Your ears are very fortunate and highly educated.
I think this is the first 16 by 10 aspect ratio-video I've ever seen on youtube and it fits my screen beautifully.
I like how you went from I don't care that the wood is cracked to being pissed about the wood being cracked lmfao I love you Zeos
I’m one of those people that after I got my Hifiman Sundara’s I took a break from your videos for a while cause I love those and don’t feel a need to upgrade for a long time. Have had them for 3 years now. But I will say the Arya Stealth might be my next headphone. Happy I can back to watch more of your videos on your new 2nd channel.
Have you watched the DMS video? The Arya seem a great pair... The non stealth were the most loved for a lot of people
Yeah, just watched his video a day or two ago which made me want to get them.
i love my Anandas with those new pads. and I loved them a lot before the pad swap.
Those new Xenon pads man.... I thought I loved the Argon T60s but man those Xenon pads... Kinda want to try them on T1.1s
Well ‘Z’ I did watch the complete video…. Good job. Actually can’t wait for the Speaker vid to come out…
Fully respecting the 4:3. I'm constantly dicking with photo settings to get the largest area on frame. Respect and appreciation.
The Emotiva GR1 are a Sivga Phoenix clone and are dynamic. In case anyone cares. Also X3's are now $179 and frequently available for $150 on Amazon, the same as the X2HR.
Yeah, I care. I was here to correct him too. Also, the GR-1 is not a bright/in your face sound. Zeos got confused.
@@boomcrash understandable when he covers so much
It's funny you were saying the Pioneers were old af, while I'm sitting here listening to your video on Yamaha HP-3s from the late 70s, waiting on parts to make a modded rebuild of them with the drivers from them and I'm calling it the HP-3 Reimagined
This was a fun video Z I will watch the Speaker one next.
Yup, this is my favourite Zeos video right here
these wall updates are always a joy to watch because I'm a very forgetful person
edit, still have the 5xx, they're still great
Love the channel
Movie night watch alongs would be awesome . Commentaries for new hot movies or for old classics .
Hey man this is random but I work in fire/water restoration. You mentioned mold problems in the basement. Basements are inherently damp. Concrete is so porous that ground water slowly seeps in, and again because it's porous it stays wet. We take moisture readings and you literally can't take them on concrete because IT ALWAYS READS AS WET. I know there's waterproofing solutions out there in the form of coatings, paneling type material and others. Those are probably expensive to use on a whole basement, but you can also run dehumidifiers. Whole home dehumidifiers exist(I bet you could get it to only run in the basement), but those are probably pricey too. I only have one room that I'm particularly concerned about moisture in so I just run a portable. It auto-drains itself. There's enough moisture in that room alone that it drains roughly once a day.
Basements are great(I bought my house in part because of the basement) but they have some serious shortcomings.
Bought SHP9500s and a Schiit Fulla a while back on your recommendation and I'm slowly adding to the collection. Satisfied with desktop setup, moving onto a record player setup. Thanks for making the process easier for someone who wants to be informed but doesn't need the fanciest shit in the world.
Desiccants like Damprid can also be helpful.
The diva impression with the 909s made me crack up
Jeez bro, you got headphones lol. Amazing collection, kudos to you, enjoy them in good health.
I am looking at getting some focal utopias, but I am on the fence. If you rate them, please let me know. If there is a better set of cans I would be keen for that option. I am looking at end game headphones, the be all and end all, if you can only have one set, then its ... etc. For now, from what I have researched, utopias keep coming up consistently as great cans.
I still have my mad dogs that I bought from your recommendation. Awesome!
I managed to get a pair of the Pioneer SE-A1000 and they have a very long non-detachable cable. Also I own the 5XX, Zeo's please make ear pad protectors (at your request), also I really need to get those new modhouse pads.
yo zeos my 4xx pads have been getting a white ish color to it and I have the zmf oval cowhides on them also so I think your right on the real leather thing
also if I had a hundred I would totally grab those because I need closed backs and I love my 4xx. I wasted my money this week on the Josh Valour periapt cables (I want more Zeos cables I always miss out! about to get my own custom made )
Haven't finished the video yet, but Zeos I want you to know that I bought the Yamaha MT5 and the ZMF pads instead of the M40x because of your video and they live on my desk.
Cool thing about the hd 660s is that they are on discount right now if I am not mistaken, so if you were thinking of getting them, now the time.
Would love an IEM overview like this 👍🏼
At some point. I need to do way more organizing.
@@Zeos2nd Let me know I will do the timestamps again.
Based on your assessment I picked up the modhouse argon t60rp. Someday maybe get a meze liric
Hey Zeos, are you using the new baffles supplied with the xenon pads for the t60 argons? I've seen some people say they like it without em and was wondering what you thought.
I have the 5XX or as zeos said the 5 se… anyway, I love those things and they’re truly worth the money. It’s honoring to see them on the wall
I like on-ears, I sleep with them on and their cups are small enough that they don't press your ears from the pillow, and iems are too fragile and I don't like things that go across my neck when I sleep. I personally use the AKG M60X for sleeping almost every night, you should do a round-up if you don't feel like doing one by one.
Did you add the new baffle to the T60 Argons or just the new earpads?
I added the both but couldn't really hear a difference from the baffle. The earpads are great though! More soundstage, more refined bass. Yum.
This video feels like Christmas!
Where were the Rode NTH-100? Got a set, fantastic headphones by the way.
I’m excited, I’m in, I’m watching every second!
36:12 I have the same problem with my Sennheiser Momentum 2 over ear. I keep cleaning them, but over time it keeps getting mould on the headband.
36:48 "they need a f**k truck to drive them, look up f**k truck" pause "never mind don't look up f**k truck" Zeo's. This and the reviews will always keep me back, more entertaining then any reviewer.
Hey Zeos, I know you loved the Klipsch Forte IV's. Have you heard the JBL 4367's???? Thanks man, ~Peace
I'm wondering, have you ever got to review or get your hands on the Hifiman Susvara
The Alara ripped off the Quad ERA-1. Unfortunately no one ever really tested these head to head, so it's not quite clear if driver and tuning are as similar as the build. Anyways, i still like my ERA-1 quite a lot.
My KPH40s managed to break the plastic for one side somehow, ordered some new ones and gonna try to warranty mine.
Hi, how do I know if my Sundara is from 2020 or 2021 ? Thx for those videos love it
You should set up a headphone museum or something
Can you show you In Ear and IEM Collection ?
And I thought I owned a lot of headphones, this guy takes the cake, the whole cake....
I agree. I also thought that I have way too many headphones but darn I'm jealous of his collection. I only wish that I had the space to horde that much audio gear and headphones etc.
Hey, I was the one who listened and bought the Yamaha MT5 instead of M40X.
Ahh.... the good 'ol days...
You should do speakers, dacs, and amps next.
Of course those superlex’s exist, specially here in Hungary
Someday you should show us all of your headphones stands.
O God... what a collection.. how much total cost of all?? how you afford all of these??? is there any trick??
My Takstars are absolutely my favourite budget headphone I've owned
Meaty 2 hour video? Hell yeah lets goooo >:3
I think I need to buy Argons now.
Odie's Oil for the leather. Expensive as shit but will probably last for a couple decades. I mean...if you wanted a recc.
Why is his sennheiser hd600 missed lable in the description 🤔
As someone who lives in a part of the world where everything basically turns into a tree 2 days after you stop using it, even if you clean it, it's very vindicating to see Zeos have some headphones that turned a bit nasty as well. Makes me feel a little better about my deplorable situation where nice things never stay nice things for long.
Clorox Wipes, Rubbing Alcohol and Leather Conditioner made them right as rain.
@@Zeos2nd Glad to hear. Unfortunately my Elite Atlas (you probably won't remember cuz it's a gaming headset but you did review it) didn't fare as well. I have no clue how to clean them and they never stay clean for long. Nor does anything else.
So.. are the ath ad2000x the best gaming headphone?
what are the big foam blocks you use for each set of headphones?
IIRC those are yoga blocks. you can get them in varying sizes from lots of places. amazon, and Walmart both have them. Mostly in the 3 and 4 inch thickness.
Hey Zeos, did you ever make those pad protectors for the headphone wall?
Never figured out how I wanted to do it.
@@Zeos2nd Understandable, enjoy your evening.
Wow I saw the title and said to myself this video would be way to long even if he just listed all of them!
Why does that coffee look like tea mate
What is the best one?
Still surprised there’s no LCD X on the wall you loooove them
They were all borrowed units.. And I could never bring myself to throw $1500 at them when I have SO MANY headphones. Some things you can just love from your heart.
Audio-Technica ATH-M60x maybe the best competitive Gaming Headphone you can have. Because it combines a very space aware sound with high detail retrieval and nice separation. Usually some open backs have better directional accuracy, but they are lacking in providing the quietest sound hints esp, if the room is noisy. The M60X is really up there when it comes to directional accuracy, I even had an idea if enemies were above or below me somehow, and they seal well so they are also strong in providing the quiet but sometimes decisive sounds. Separation is also important. Because still being able to hear footsteps while explosions or shooting is going gives you an advantage. Some games introduces crazy bass effects when team mates fall or enemies are killed, separation is important here too. The M60X does here well too.
I had the DT1770 Pro, just the separation was on another level, while I was bombarded with bass-sound like I never heard before, I felt like I could still hear a squirrel fart 100 m away. But the space awareness was not that good on the 1770 unfortunately.
But can you wear them for 4 hours straight?
@@Zeos2nd Good point. It will differ from person to person. Someone that has a problem with something touching their ear might feel pain after some time. But I have to say the M60X are very comfortable as far as onears go!
When I play competitive, I can put my Headphones down every 45-60 Minutes, meaning between 2 matches. As competitive gaming is a very focused affair in the match but the time of one match is not that long.
It's rather other games where time flys by where it might be a problem. Like an average length 8h Wow-session xD
Hey Zeos, make head protector for
pad-phone your welcome!

Jesus, that's a lot of headphones.
Zeos what pads are you using on the Edition XS? Is it the same Dekoni fenestraded you use in the Anandas?

Where does he get the money
Sir, my mate in CHicago has always sworn by GRADO..........and says HD 650 are a world standard for headphones.
Sir can you consider DJ's when you perhaps do a long Rant about what headphones should be purchased........it would help a lot
DJ's tend to LOOSE masses of pairs of headphones......nearly 10 pairs per year.........it costs them near $2000 to do annual replacement of headphones
what headphones can you recommend for DJ's then.........are they COLORED so you can see them in a DARK CLUB? (and not leave them behind while rushing to the plane)
Sir they tend to spend about $200 and will buy rubbish pairs such as pioneer.....or Sony
thanks
V
DROP is amazing.......HD 800s are HALF the price that LONDON UK STREET STORE called SELFRIDGES will charge you (sterling)
Saving you about $1090 dollars usd
Sir are you saying that the real AIM with CANS is to get a pair around 350 dollars and move into HIGH END sound with a DAC...?
1) what is your ABSOLUTE RECOMMEND FOR HEADPHONES?.........HD 650....? 660?....can you consider economy too.
THe TR60P modded?
2) .and what is your absolute recommend on DAC sir?............i hope you can think about economy too.
Vin.
Snagged the X3's for $169 they have stayed there for over 3 months now.
Hate to be "that guy" but the K7xx and the AKG K712 Pro are not the same headphone. Different pads and driver entirely
