I LOVED the nonediting of the pauses inbetween triggers. I didn't realize how relaxing those moments are when they happen naturally in the real world.

I’ve always noticed how the in-between of ASMR is the most relaxing part for me. It’s like I get the relaxation and the tingles, and then I get a moment of peace and quiet where there’s nothing going on. In videos with that, I usually fall asleep in those in-betweens.

I didn't realize there is an absence of "prep time" between triggers until someone requested the "prep time" be left in. And i love not editing that transition out! The sounds of gathering the materials for the next trigger together gave me more tingles than the actual trigger itself. I think I would get immense pleasure from a video that was just all prep time. Like a being the scenes thing, as if the camera wasn't even on. In proper asmr fashion of course. Slow and methodical with lots of set up noises!

Ephemeral rift has a video called "I hope you are doing well". Where he chooses a bunch of triggers he plans on using for his "Next video". He doesn't acknowledge the camera he just gets ready. It includes trigger assortment fabric sounds while getting dressed and he moves the camera around and the mics too.
      I hope this helps

I don't like ASMR with too many cuts, though, so now that you having me thinking on it, flow is probably one of the reasons for creator's like Latte's success across the board with so many viewers. This is sooo true. When I was younger I remember having a new watch (this was back in the 80s and digital watches were the thing to have). Friends would like to press the buttons and have a look at the settings while I was wearing it and I always remembered the magnetic little buzz of pleasure I would get as they fiddled around with it.
Over the years I would sometimes try to describe the sensation to people but never had someone confirmed they had also experienced it.
As ASMR revealed itself as a phenomenon, I began to realise that this was that feeling I used to get when I was younger.
Your description has really zeroed in on the sort of trigger that I experience.

I know it's kind of linked to the silence trigger in this video but I LOVE the sounds of people moving around the room, like when you went to get the hot wheels cars. The thing that introduced me to asmr was soundscapes where you could really get the sense of the layout of a whole room. Plus the contrast between talking at a distance and up close whispering or soft speaking is SO nice. Keeping in moments like that or when you move or adjust equipment was definitely a bonus effect of that 'silence trigger' for me
Also the 'mirror me' section was SO good, would definitely watch a whole video of that

Some of my earliest memories of getting tingles that has also continued throughout my entire life is when someone (for example a teacher of a class) would slowly walk around the room while everyone was either taking a test or reading or whatever while the class was silent. Something about slow, quiet steps makes me feel so calm and gives me tingles in the back of my head.

Next Hot Wheels Video on Gibi ASMR Channel: “Hot Wheels Mechanic Garage Role Play- Fixing Squeaky Wheels Service” and the video is a concerned Hot Wheels mechanic asking about how long the squeaks have been happening and other check-in stuff. Then the mechanic starts the wheel treatment, and after the super tingly treatment, its time for a test drive to make sure the treatment fixed the problem. The mechanic drives it on books, cardboard, metal cookie sheets for baking, hardwood floors, hot wheels tracks, slightly crinkled tissue paper used in gift wrapping on the floor, etc.
Could be a series, Since the hot wheels are older, maybe after the wheel treatment they need a cool/refreshed paint job, or maybe its sharing your hot wheels collection, hot wheels race tournament where you put the cars in heats against each other and move one car at a time and gibi decides which one wins in the moment like the mochi races on tik tok, etc.

I finished the video and clicked another video, and immediately closed youtube because I wasn’t ready for it to be so aggressive and loud. I watched one more video and I was fully wide awake and felt great. I’m realizing that asmr is also a great way to wake up too, because it’s slow and calming, so it lets me wake up slowly while giving me something to focus on to stay awake once I’m already rested.

That mirror me thing was SO good. I loved copying, so relaxing and the counting to ten on the face

Behind the microphone triggers are the only ones that still give me tingles, right at the back of my neck lol

One weird trigger I just realized I like is neighborhood sounds. Idk if this makes sense, but I didn't grow up in a neighborhood, so hearing my apartment neighbors using a leaf blower in the distance or hose and things like that on a lazy Sunday morning help me go right back to sleep and it's so calming. It's like a relaxing way of saying "spring is coming!". I just don't know how you could simulate those sounds tbf 😅

Please don't ever think your squeaky hot wheels are bad! They were awesome and I watched every second of it.

Me too, babes. The stress is REAL and I feel like a lot of us out there are just trying to get through the day and onto the next. It’s nice to know we aren’t alone, though! Rough times mean that something good Is around the corner, you just have to keep pushing through the dark to see the light! Much love 💖

I’ve never fallen asleep to ASMR - until now. I listen to relax & hadn’t considered most of these triggers before. Then - ZONK! This is so good, Gibi. Thank you.
