If the give us a transpose or pitch shifting effect I can’t see any competition with TONEX for their price point

Hi sir, can you make a video about the output from tonex pedal. Like from tonex mono out to amp or return or how to hook it up. all those options. cause I dont see any videos regarding on that matter.

I don’t understand the hype on modelers and updates. It seems like folks play more with the software than playing music with their guitar. If I would use a modeler I would certainly go with the Kemper as it is the most used platform for gigging musicians (what I am not).

It's not baked into the capture, you can apply it on top

Is stacking 4 ToneX a good idea? 4 ToneX means latency multiplied by 4 I guess ?
It seems that the guitar is connected directly to one of them, don't you see that it's just a demo pedalboard for an expo?

Here's how it's done. Shame on kemper - way to go IK!
Look at the demo setup. Four Tonex devices. Cost is 900 Euros plus, almost the price of the Kemper Player plus all upgrades. Oh, and make the announcement 2 months early to poop on Kemper's just recently released upgrades. Yeah, wait to go, IK.
@@andrezcabara2774 Because it's a demo setup. I'd never use 4 tonex pedals at once, makes absolutely no sense. If turning on fx would work via midi (it should) - all you need is a big pedal + midi controller. I tested Nano Cortex recently with 45$ midi controller and it works great, so i guess there should be no problem with tonex, I might be wrong though.
@@andrezcabara2774 I guess no one would ever use 4 tonex pedals. All you need is a bigger one + midi controller. As you said - it's a demo setup.
@@andrezcabara2774the effects will run in the same unit as the captures, just like the comp and reverbs do already.
@@galtonestudio No "booster" or "overdrive" FX (which is why you need the Tonex ONE in front for that). Neither Tonex can send one output to PA (with CAB sim) and another without CAB sim to a power amplifier. No bluetooth streaming. Nothing equivalent to liquid profiles. No morphing. No gapless switching. No spill over. No editor for Tonex ONE for editing on the fly. Even the Kemper Player without upgrades has more FX options than the Tonex with this free upgrade. Yes, IK is great, and this is an awesome value, but let's drop the "Shame on Kemper". Kemper has its place. If not for you, get the Tonex.

What? The effects you are hearing are coming from the device (the big tone-x) These will be available after a (coming in nov) firmware update

So it had that power all along but they didn’t bother putting that in from the start. Load of shit
I'm pretty sure it didn't have that. They probably had to change a lot in software in order to make it work. Even if you'll take a look at tonex pedal layout, there's no mod/delay etc. I think it's great that they actually include that as a FREE update, even though the tonex is the cheapest profiler on a market and they could charge 600-700$ for completely new device.
I think that's fair, nothing wrong with that. But announcing this two months before release right after Kemper released its paid upgrades, you be the judge.
The demo setup here has a cost of 900 Euros, btw (Tonex pedal + 3 x Tone ONE). That's almost the price of the Player plus both upgrades.
Loads of companies do updates to their products? Line 6 has been updating the Helix for almost 10 years and no one has complained about their updates?
