Well done! I'm looking forward to it, probably tomorrow 😊
Well done great video thanks 😊 😊
This is amazing vid, i will try this route next week. Wish me luck.
you can do it!!!
@Free T slightly harder than Alpe du Zwift. But good experience
which do you reckon is harder? The Alpe Du Zwift or this climb?
depends on the interval :) but Mont Ventoux is a very loooong one! :p
@@glenhuygens cool gonna hit it up tonight :)
Thanks 😊
Are you using a head unit or something to control your kickr? Those intervals look very precise.
im was using trainerroad
Crazy around 15 minutes continuous downhill
Did this yesterday in 84:41. But any sub-100min effort deserve respect. That was TOUGH! Will not be scheduling a repeat ascent anytime soon.
yes it is indeed a hard climb, if you can do it in group it is a little more fun i think! :) Lets see this weekend!
I know I‘m a bit late, but congrats. Wiuld you mind sharing your weight size and average watts, getting sub 90 mins is my goal abd I‘d like to habe some concrete numbers to aim for.
@@schoki1446 thanks. And happy to share. I'm 71kg, 5' 9" and Zwiftpower puts me at 4.38wkg average (310w). However, that specific ride I did at 267w average, which is 3.76wkg for me. Main thing to note is it's a continuous steady climb (unlike the switchbacks of Alpe du Zwift), so you almost have to ride it like a TT...find a cadence and power you can hold, put your head down and just keep turning those pedals. Good luck and let me know how you get on.
Dug out the Strava ride (www.strava.com/activities/3784244974/overview) and the Zwiftpower stats too (you'll find me down in 169th - www.zwiftpower.com/events.php?zid=931579). Should be plenty of stats there for you. Turns out I actually did the specific Ventoux KOM in 78:39.
@@werdsmyth thanks for the quick answer, looks like I have to do quite some training at 6‘3“ 80kg and an FTP of 260😅 but now I have some real numbers to train for, nothing more motivating than that😊
you didnt pedal that right? i dont see how one can keep watts etc so precise.
This was a workout. My biketrainer adjusts the watts to the workout.
Level 7 zwift 😊
What was your setup?
always riding on the kickr core
@@glenhuygens is it possible to ride Mont Ventoux without Smart Trainer?
@@paulb9612 if you have a device that can send either speed/cadence or power to you computer it is possible. If not you will have to go to France and ride it in real life... :) :)
@@glenhuygens yes, I have got Speed and Cadence sensor
how ride....? This course has not yet been opened in Korea.
if you have a mac. ruclips.net/video/I9DPfzkAiWg/видео.html
@@glenhuygens hack! Oh~
@@JUKRIM_RIDER yes indeed :) this weekend you can already ride the casse-pattes route in a zwift event.
@@glenhuygens yeah~ i'm join the l'etape du tour stage2. Next monday VTDF Stage 3 ride~ thank you~ Glen 😊
I think everything in Korea might be closed, especially borders, in North Korea
89:18 today

@@schoki1446 now my pb is 81min. FTP is 3.7ish, weight 70kg, target to hang in at 240-260w baseline with ofcational surges to change pace
@@hl6306 wow that was quick, thank you very much😊
Nice FTP bro
