There is no such thing as the best salmon fly ever, as anyone who fly fishes for salmon knows. Location, air and water temperature, depth of water, flow, terrain, river bed, wind direction, season, wind, rain, sun, shade, time of day, skill of angler, etc., etc., all affect the fishing and the fly to use. There are more factors, but at 2am in the morning I can’t be bothered to think too hard. The idea that one fly is the best is ludicrous, and irritating.
Can i buy this nice fly? I plan to spend a week or two this year on salmon fishing in Skjern or can I buy your fly somewhere?
