I've been decluttering over the past 3 years as part of my essentialism (not planning to be a minimalist) & Swedish death cleaning journey. Thanks for the decluttering & organizational motivation. Now I only buy what is needed. This journey has also lead me away from consumerism to intentional buying.
You did an excellent job not just in decluttering, but increasing the functionality of your home. A joy to watch!

First time watching. I always get the decluttering vibe this time of year. I have set a goal to declutter 1,000 items that do not include things I throw away. Mostly for donation or resell ( what I don’t sell, goes to donation. I have only worked on it starting last weekend and today and have decluttered over 170 items so far. That’s just from my part of my kitchen, bathroom and most of my master closet. I have ADHD and am OCD so if I put something away somewhere else and that spot is messy, I work on that and the process repeats so a lot of rooms and spaces are unfinished. We are doing this especially in my closet and master bedroom because we are going to do a complete makeover of both so the stuff needs to get out. I don’t declutter to become minimalistic, I can’t deal with clutter. It gives me anxiety. My mother was a hoarder and when she passed she had tons of things and I never want my children burdened with that. I normally do it 3 times a year but with my job, it’s difficult to find time.
I am the oldest of 5 children. Now I have 2 of my own and 5 grandchildren. They call me Mimi. Love you channel.
Just relaxing before bed getting some ideas. It does make me want to get up and clean with you. But I am so tired, I am just going to go enjoy watching you get something done and feeling fulfilled because of it! LOL. Your house is so organized and beautiful . Even when you say it’s a mess, it’s just perfect! Fun to spend some time with you tonight. I haven’t had it pull up any of your videos for a long time. I actually went and searched you out tonight. I just knew watching your video was what i needed. Your calm voice and sweet, grateful attitude towards everything. You are a pleasure to watch. Hope your family is all doing great. And that you are feeling wonderful. I have been on a decluttering journey for the past year. Still have lots in the basement and garage to do but my house was really bad after 20 years of being sick and not getting much done. I’ve been feeling better lately and tired of the mess and enjoying dejunking and decluttering. Thanks for all your inspiration and positivity. ❤

Im a beginner. I'm 66 and ended up with all my Mother's things who passed away at 97. So its time to start going thru all of this. I'm still working and find cooking such a challenge due to the overwhelming stuff.

Recently I came to know that after opening sauce and soy sauce etc we have to put in fridge (it says in the label of the bottle)
It shocked me cause I have leaving sauce out for years

How is it that you are ALWAYS cleaning, declutterring and organizing yet always have so much stuff to clean, declutter and organize? Cleaning I get. But if you are regularly declutterring and organizing, and have put systems in place, then it should be easier to maintain.
After a week of living with more than one person, and sharing a home, all the spaces need redoing. It’s just a fact. No matter what systems are employed; unless, you’re going to be a sergeant major. Some places more than others.
I have a family of 7 and things are constantly coming into the household so there is always a need to declutter items to make space for new things. Also there are different seasons of life, so you don't need some things anymore or you need other things instead.
