I was there (mainly to see Odd Future because I was a reckless 15 year old) but this song definitely gives me the same vibe wherever I hear it: warm, sunny & happy.
Am here in 2020 because i missed the old Yuck
yep! got to see them play in a very small venue and i loved it. they came back a few yrs later but without Daniel
I miss them in general...I assume they’re on a super long hiatus or broke up...I still loved them with Max fronting but it seems to be just him doing solo shows at this point.
And now they just broke up...
Daniel siempre fue el cerebro de YUCK !
I love when I unintentionally discover a really great band
2020 and is my favorite song
Me too favorite
AND THE CROWD GOES.... mild
Enjoying shit isn’t hip anymore
The drummer is the white Questlove
such a brilliant effing song
such great sound quality!
They are bringing the sound to a new generation. They write great songs too. Their debut album has been one of my favourites in years. I think you're being a bit cynical. There are some great bands around at the moment though.
God I feel old. I was a sophomore when this came out. I’m 27 now
If thats a light pink Jaguar than I am very envious.
the pink one is a jaguar, but yes it is absolutely beautiful indeed.
the singer is playing a (black) jazzmaster. both gorgeous guits
Darrien Day
Oh wow, you're right. That's just a sloppy mistake, I typically know my Jags from Jazz.
where's the gain on the vocals?
Great song.
Is NOOOOO one noticing how much the singer looks like Bob Dylan
pfff - you look like Bob Dylan
hdjsis I went in the comments to see if anyone else said this THANKS
Or how much the bassist looks like my future wife 🤷
He looks a bit like Eddie Redmayne too (the actor)
I see this comment a lot and I’ve been told I look like bob Dylan and I definitely don’t so I think it’s s conspiracy
I love summer
Daniel the best the band yuck always has my attention there grate :D
que vuelva el chico raro! miss u Daniel!!
we missed the old Yuck!
Powerful song
feel~~~~
Holden Caufield? WHERE HAVE YOU BEEN ALL THIS TIME???
who's watching this now ?
WHY DANIEL!?
RIP Yuck
aptly named, these guys would of swallowed in a sea of talent in the 80s, 90s when this type of music was more popular. kinda catchy I guess though.
U CAN SEE ME IF YOUR TALL, try and make it THRU THE WALLLLL
It may be a little too early in their career to say anything. I have to say I like where they're going though. Debut album was very good.
It was a little too easy :(
nothing can touch the studio version of this song. not even close.
can someone explain me why every jaguar gets a silver tape?
I believe there is tiny switches on that part of the guitar and the tape is placed over to avoid hitting them with your arm. Either that, or It's a hipster thing lol
there's a switch up there, tape it down or you're gonna switch it while strumming.
It pains me that only 758 people liked this video
anyone else the singer looks like Andrew Bird?
I love their music, but i have to say i have never seen then doing a great live performance...
This sounds like the Velvet Underground in the 21st century. Bass player looks like a young Peter Hook.
what a afro
someone's trying to emulate sonic youth....? ;)
A disgrace to their shoegazing ancestors?! They are bringing new life to a style of music that faded away in the early 90's. I'd rather listen to derivative good music than soulless modern music any day.
is this anybody's favorite band? this song sounds a little bit like some 10,000,000 other/better bands to me, but i could be wrong, and i might be becoming an old grouch. i will accept that...
You're getting old
Hopefully a new Oupa album (?). Fucking butts man this sucks.
I thought the singer was a woman.
I'm glad that somebody can agree with me. These guys are a disgrace to their British shoegazing ancestors from the late 80's/early 90's.
Just shut up
Wow you sound like you're fun to be around at parties
Of course these posers are playing Jazzmasters.
You're joking right? New life? They bring nothing new to the table! And to say the genre is fading now is ridiculous. There's a plethora of nu-gaze bands that are far more interesting both in sound and in songwriting than this trash.
