After growing his beard for 10 months he decided to shave it. His 10-month-old baby had never seen him without it, so they set up some cameras in the barbershop and here's what happened...

This father is so tender towards his daughter. It is a beautiful thing. I was born to a mean dad that always made sure to let me know that he did not care about me. So watching sweet videos like this always make me cry. Please don't take your good daddy for granted. Not everyone has one.
My father was killed when I was 6. I’m 67 & still miss him. Had a stepdad but not the same.

It's so sweet how the father interacts with his daughter. It's very tender and loving.
The kid wasn't even afraid when it was falling because she was so peaceful and confident in her father's love. And that's the way we should all be with God.

That was so smart! Having her watch while Daddy's look completely changed. That way she wasn't terrified when a complete stranger suddenly presented himself as her daddy. Genius!

Thank you for sharing this most precious moment! I was 4 years old when my Dad shaved his beard. He came down the stairs, asked me for a hug and I ran away crying. I asked him to grow it back! I’m now 55 and my sweet Daddy still has his beard! Love you Pop!

This is breathtaking watching this most adorable baby girl with her daddy (and mommy) at the barber shop. It's funny how she reached out for the colorful barber's cape but mommy had a watchful eye and broke the fall.:)

Beautiful moments, I adored the child when she carefully looked at her daddy's face. She knew it was her daddy when she looked into his eyes, and heard his voice. Nothing else mattered, she was not surprised at all.

Same - and my whole body just prickled with fright when she went forward - they move sooo quick...can’t believe they were that stupid.
No it didn't. Yes it was panicking but I knew it they will catch her. So please stop judging them being parents. That can happen to you too while even staying at home n being extra careful.

My husband didn’t tell me or our 2year old. He just came out of the bathroom with a clean shaven face. The baby ran to me crying! She didn’t know it was daddy. It took about 5 minutes for her to let him touch her. It was so cute.

When I was young, I would dream of what being married and giving a man a child would be like, seeing his love for the child and how pleased that would make me feel.
My dad was a great dad. This girl is so lucky to have a dad that adores her like he does, and a beautiful wife who is enjoying this time in her life. Bless you both! thanks for sharing. A beautiful child.

I grew my beard after my wedding, in 1979. In the late 80s, I had to shave it off. Of course my kids had NEVER seen me without one. I left Sunday night, after the kids were in bed, attended my course, & returned home late the next Friday, again, after they were in bed. Saturday morning, they were all excited to see Daddy! My wife & I were still in bed (it was early!), and I heard the kids “sneaking” into our room. Then they stopped dead, and my 5-year old daughter stage-whispered to her siblings “who’s that man in bed with mom!??” Hilarious!

If the baby's mom had been more careful the baby would not have almost gone crashing down to the ground. The baby should never have been 'loosely' put onto the counter like that in the first place and her mom should have been holding onto her firmly all the time to make sure she wouldn't fall. It's commonsense.

Gosh, my heart skipped a beat there and I almost jumped forward (I have a little one as well). The 'I'd have caught you with my legs, I promise', was so awesome. And Mama's reflexes, man O man! Thrills n chills. Great video with a cute family.
I totally enjoyed this video! When our older daughter was about a year old, I also had a beard. I decided it was time to clean up, so we went to the bathroom, and she sat and watched as first my wife used a scissors to cut most of it away. Then, I got out the razor and shaved the rest of it off with our daughter still watching. When it was over, I was clean shaven and I went to pick her up, and she wanted none of it. She started to cry and reach for my wife. I spoke to her and tried to convince her that I was still "Daddy". It took maybe an hour till she finally came around. Seeing your video brought back those memories. That was well over 30 years ago, but I still smile when I think about it.

Be s PARENT and make sure U take responsibility!!!! before they open poisoned substance, including cleaners, meds, tobacco,.ect the laizze fairer --,free range kid probably next to be.hit --by.car--, lawn.mower-_-- it can happen. play with ur kid not just plop in front of TV,. which may be inappropriate show for.them..🙄👨👨👦👦👽❤️

When my daughter was 5 years old, I decided to shave. She had never seen me without a beard. I took her to the barbershop with me. She watched intently. She had a funny quizzical look. Her first words were "Je te connais meme pas!!". (We spoke French at home.) "I don't even know who you are.!!". It took her about a week. She would look at me and touch my face. A few years later I grew it back. She preferred me with a beard... 9Ap20.

I, too, thought that child's going to fall. I think there's a lot of focus on dad, and mum's trying to do what dad wants. The baby clearly wanted to be held by mum, but that wasn't the plan. What a sweet baby! Beautiful little girl! He definitely looked way better after. Hillbilly to cool dude.

The baby's dad was very doting but the mom should NEVER have placed her 'loosely' on the counter like that. That was an accident waiting to happen and the baby could have been badly injured if she had fallen head first to the ground. Her mom should have been holding onto her all the time to ensure she was safe.

When she sat the girl there without holding her, I was foreseeing a fall. I’ve had 6 kids, now all grown up so I expect pretty much everything, especially with 4 of mine being boys... the things they get up to lol
Yrs later I'm still frozen, as a matter of fact I am a snowman⛄.
Mommy was alert. She caught the girl before she cleared the counter top. Holding the girl would not be a guarantee of safety. When my two nieces were small, both of them attempted more than once make a dive right out of my arms. Kids that age are escape artists no matter the circumstances. Playing attention is the only defense. You can put a kid somewhere safe turn around and find they are headed for the door.
