The GT3 Touring is my dream car, ever since I saw the unveiling of it. I remember when the 911R came out, and I specced that car for hours and hours, dreaming about how it would look in my driveway. Sam, 9 months with my Touring since Euro delivery ... it is EPIC ... had SW center and moved to Soul valved side deletes ... nice sound and a little smoother transition w valves ... sides remove 35lbs and lithium battery another 35lbs ... provides lightweight ethos of 911 R with improvements of .2 engine and setup ... CHEERS !!
I just wish they had a more touring mode set for the suspension,they apparently are a bit firm for longer distance,more aimed for the track liked it's winged brother,and being called touring needed a real difference setting between comfort and sport
The GT3 Touring is just gorgeous! Dream car all the way... as you said, i have no idea how the 992 can beat this. I like the 992 but love the 991.2 GT3s! Maybe this will change when the 992 GT3s etc are coming

I would love to do that however over the last 6 months, unfortunately those style of videos get far less views than these more car focussed ones. But totally appreciate and take on board your feedback. I enjoy making the style of videos you mention and hope to do more moving forward

Why would you have a GT3 touring as well as a Carrera T? I’d save the money rather than having a similar looking car that simply isn’t as good as the other. Daily the GT3 and not give a shit about mileage 😏
ImSJPC, he wants to keep the carrera t for the rest of his life I think, because it’s the special car he drove round the world in. Like how he want’s to keep his manual 360 forever, even though it’s technically worse than the challenge stradale

Ive always imagine that if i can have one supercar that i have to keep forever, the gt3 touring would definitely be on top of my list. But ill have it in another shade of green with wheels color the same as that 918 in this video, that gold wheels. And ill have those comfort seats as well. That would be my perfect spec.
Seen Through Glass it’s way cool but there are some downsides to the GT3 Touring compared to the T besides higher tyre budget. I was thinking of moving into a Touring but after sitting in one at a dealer, idling and doing some revs and feeling the vibe, and the fact it’s only got 2 seats, I concluded the T is the better car for my needs. I like the steering wheel in my T better with mode button and controls.

I can confirm the possibility to tune your Carrera T. A Stage 1 tune is very well possible, the only thing it really takes is a good tuner, about 4 hours and of course some money 😉 Your power gains will be about 100 hp and 170 nm on a stock exhaust according to one of my friends who actually is a tuner

Lauro Africa You're right about stock average 911 sounding lame but the Sharwerks exhaust isn't responsible for the incredible noise on this video. The stock GT3 sounds like this already, I know I own one, you don't need to change the exhaust! :)
