Actually started using arthritis joint cream on my hands to try and keep up with you young folks when I play. Seems to be helping. I got to mr 68.
Doing some hand stretches before you play helps a lot!
@@attie1979 I got the gel skin that covers the controller and joysticks, seems to help the grip more comfortable.

Are his builds really that powerful or did Capcom lower their health pool.
When there are I think 3 or 4 monster needed to hunt in a quest (any kind investigation, optional, event, etc) their health are all reduced to compensate. They still do the same damage though, at least I'm pretty sure.
@@Blaze_1012 His builds are extremely powerful but in every hunt with more than 2 monsters, their HP are lowered.

Chill dawg, it's a speedrun tactic. You can carve if u want even if ur that good.... unless it's a speedrun, which means carving is forbidden.
@@jmanthenoob3226 its not perse "forbidden" they do it to save time and prepare for the next monster. And in this case, charging phials and renewing shield. Its a tactic.
Teostra got wombo-combo’ed, lunastra got frozen, velkhana got smacked in the face, and ruiner got visited by the coffin dance guys. Great video.

The form to kill teostra, survive at 150 hp the lunastra nova, the moment at 10:35 vs velkhana, and the time is also really good. Nice run eleven

This shows that any weapon can be deadly with the right equipment and upgrades. Everyone has there own style but it's still effective
Respect man. I love your builds. Seeing CB hitting the way you make it hit is just simply amazing.... Wish I have the confidence you do.. When I go in like you do for some reason my footing is wrong and I get the whole dance messed up and get thrown back to camp.

The timing actually really works for Charge Blade's AED, at least if you're going for a KO
It's Teostra's biggest tell; you'll see a lot of speed runners use this tech to stun-lock him.

this is my favorite game of all time, so this speedrun made me cry, okay slight overexageration. but its true
this was extremely impressive but i have a few questions. (i’m a GS main who has been learning CB for little while) 1. Were most of those blocks guard points? i couldn’t quite tell because it was so fast. 2. what is the purpose of sometimes using an AED instead of an SAED in your fights? i have admittedly very little knowledge of AEDs. i assume quicker connection with the enemy? 3. what level of guard and offensive guard did you run?

I have one more question - do you think that Quick Sheath is worth the deco slots? i noticed you weren’t using that. i love having it but there are many times when i want to fit more skills in and i just can’t decide. is one or two levels a good compromise? how do you deal with not having it?

Yea multi monster quests have monsters with reduced health to be more time accommodating

Is better to use teostra set bonus than 4 pieces of namielle to boost elemental dmg on elemental CB??? Im sorry but i'm noob at DB and i want to start to use it ^^
teostra good for (always crit build) to maintain its sharpness. namielle element dmg is good for SAED or AED or axe (use phials). while crit doesn't effect its phial dmg except you combine teostra (maintain sharpness while crit) and velkhana (crit element)
I never got why teo,luna, and velkana are all tempered and then nergi is just normal.

I have a legit question as a CB newbie. How did he pull off the 9:57 - 10:04 combo? Isn't it automatically a SAED if you chain three circle inputs consecutively with a charged shield?
There are a few frames at the start of the SAED animation where you can simultaneously hold back on the joystick and press triangle and it will do an AED instead

got too lazy on this quest so i just glutton 2.0 all the way. fast and easy victory.
is master's touch better than true elem acceleration for beo cb?
element dmg only affect on SAED or AED or axe (used phial), while crit only happen each time you use your sword or axe (without phial), its up to you if you want to maintain the sharpness or more element dmg, except you combine velkhana + teostra for crit element + sharpnes
