Ya I repaired the originals a few times and on other trucks used the junk auto version of this and those didn’t work either did a bunch of research and this was the best option by far
I just completed this on my 2001 Ford F250 Diesel. Now that you cannot buy the full OEM positive battery cable assembly anymore, THIS is the best solution! My truck has never started faster even better than new! The "little" wire is a 6 gauge for anyone who needs to do this. I highly recommend it! If you have the money to spend for a battery upgrade as well, go with matching AGM batteries to end the who issue with the acid corrosion!
You're the first person I've seen dealing with the factory terminals like me! Everyone else is replacing terminals that have already been replaced
