Man was an awesome experience seeing AFI live back in the day, saw them a few times in 2001 and 2002 in tinyy venues, lots of crowd surfing and stage jumping. Cruise control, lost souls, a single second, awesome set lists. I know I sound like a boomer but they don't have that energy or stage presence anymore.
Loved the background you gave in connection with the song and the band. AFI is a band that I while Im not too into their newer material, I feel they are often overlooked and underrated. Great video and keep up that tempo dude. You're killing it!

Awesome cover, dude! This was one of the first AFI songs I ever heard back in 2000, after a classmate performed Days Of The Phoenix at our high school talent show. My brother had beef with the singer, then they were friends, and this dude had every AFI release up to that point, including A Fire Inside EP, etc. This era will always hold a place in my heart, and this song is one of my faves of all time, any genre. On a side note, I noticed a lot of people don't care for their newer stuff. I stopped listening to them after Decemberunderground, after not liking Crash Love, and then about 3 years ago, I put AFI on shuffle on the lobby's Alexa while working hotel front desk, and came across 17 Crimes, Wild, and Greater Than '84, and really dug them! I decided to re-purchase Crash Love, then picked up Burials and The Blood Album, and downloaded The Missing Man EP, and listened to them for months on repeat. While in certain ways, the late-90s to early 2000s AFI will always be superb, I think they still got it, and have put out a ton of great stuff since then. Keep up the great drumming, dude!

I've seen AFI probably about a dozen times between Calgary, Vancouver, and Edmonton. I definitely prefer there old stuff, I don't know WTF is up with their newer stuff. I lost interest after sing the sorrow came out.. That being the last album I liked of their's.. The old stuff is timeless and classic..🤘😎 Ps: good drumming. From a fellow drummer. 🥁

At the entrance of the facility there are 4 outlets. I ran a 100 foot extension cable from there, over all the units since all units are caged in from above. Dropped it into my unit. Zip tied it so it cant be yanked and destroy my equipment when I'm not there. Connected to a surge protector that feeds to the all my devices.

Definitely regret never seeing them at the Phoenix in Petaluma though, the place That inspired The Days of the Phoenix

YES. This cover is so solid, and it’s dope to see someone else running an Audix i5 on snare. Everyone uses SM57s and those mics sound like goat ass compared to the i5. Also made some changes with a new DAW and whatnot so my mix is completely different as well. Your covers are insane!! So impressive on how you're able to completely recreate the songs. ESPN Winter X-Games Snowboarding 2002 - It had a life bar where if you bailed too much it stop you from riding. You had to land sponsors. If you didn't do well or wear their stuff they would drop you. You actually had to build skill for your character. It was way ahead of its time. Sounds track was killer. Lookup game play on RUclips. Miss those times.
Thanks my guy! Nah man I don't play in a band. I just do my thing on my own. It's so tough to get multiple people all on the same page in so many different aspects. Also, I hate taking down my drum set and rebuilding it. It never feels as comfortable as it did when I got it right. Thats just me though lol.

I discovered AFI in a similar way but for me it THP3 + The Offspring cover of Total Immortal on the Me, Myself & Irene soundtrack.
