Some singers actually make mistakes and sometimes you can tell that their voice is not at their best due to an illness, etc. Also I really recommend Ha Hyun Woo's other performances on the show! To name a few, Spring Rain, Invitation to Daily Life, Don't Cry, Lazenca Save Us, Waiting Everyday, etc. All are more than worth watching. words can't describe enough..
I think people were surprised to hear the song because it is well known among Koreans. The group that made this song debuted 26 years ago. At the time, trot and ballads were the mainstream of K-pop. And the group (Seo Taiji and Boys) changed the flow of Korean music. They were explosively popular with the younger generation at that time. Every time they release new album, it made an issue, and this is a song on their second album. And they would be surprised because they did not think this song would come out at all. The original song is a complex song mixed with various genres, and it has been rarely remaked. This cover is so cooool! Because the original song is a song with three singers singing with the dance. But this version is performed by one vocalist. (Of course, other members of the band filled up the song with great performances.)
He's the only male singer in Korea who can sing in 3rd octave for more than a minute! Could you please listen to him singing 'Invitation to Everyday Life'? :)
