- Ash vs Gary: Pokemon Anime Theme Battle #1! This is the first video in a new series, where my good friend PokeMEN and I will have Pokemon Sun and Moon WiFi battles reenacting classic Pokemon battles from the Pokemon tv show. This one will be the famous 6v6 match in the Johto League of Ash Ketchum vs Gary Oak. Will it go similarly to how it did in the anime? Watch to find out!

Bayleef with eviolite can be really bulky. I always used Leech Seed, Protect, Giga Drain and Aroma Therapy on it. The set used the element of surprise ^^

Hacked by Grym bombz - IVs in everything but attack, Nature +defense -attack, EVs put all in special defense, then put so many in defense that its equal with sp. def., rest in special attack. you dont want to put any in hp because if you have less hp than your opponent, you get more hp back with leech seed. but ofc you dont have to do it excactly like me ^^

anyone who plays oras or sun and moon and doesn't choose the grass starters treeko and rowlet may not be my friends...I really prefer the grass starter in 4 of the last 5 gens honestly....turtwig is the best and chespin is right there tied for me with forakie in gen 6 so yeah....besides snivy of course which sucks... ironcially I never chose the grass starters in gen 1 or 2...even though I love bulbasaur and chikorita...their final evolutions never interested me and their middle forms are meh....

U can't do that cuz only 2 of Tobias Pokemon are known
Dane Zibrik Although to be fair, Latias and Darkrai can sweep ash in the game too xD
Akos Sam ..No. ..Ash used heracross.. and when the levwls are fixed. it can easily take out darkrai in the game. Even if he uses another pokemon for this purpose, hes left with four level fifty pokemon to take out a level fifty latios
tobias only has legendaries and they are latios, darkrai, terrakion, raikou, articuno, and heatran and that would be an unfair advantage for whoever uses tobias' team
Dylan Croom terrekion if from gen 5. This battle took place in the end of sinnoh league of gen 4. Going by the anime terrikion didn't exist yet. Also as someone stated before Tobias only has 2 known Pokemon. He used Darkrai in his previous battles and with Ash he also used Latios so we don't really know if he even has an all legendary team.

How did they use normal Pokemon and not alolan? Is their an option?
J-MAX_PLays Pokémon Bank? You can get normal Geodude in Gen 6 so he probably evolved it all the way and transfered it.

Fun fact: Ash's battle vs Gary in the Johto league was the only time Ash didn't use Pikachu in a full 6v6 battle

The game knew and wanted Ash to win, just at every turn. Also, Tauros is actually a fun Pokémon to use, even in normal competitive.

The anime introduced abilities kind of already in season 1. For example Charmandar had blaze activate when against Primape. They excused it as Rage but it boosted his fire moves. Also less officially they had that Pokémon had unique attributes. I kind of wish they had given Muk something similar to what he had in the anime. Like an ability that physical moves that are below a certain damage don't do anything at all. Maybe if they had done less than 20% they would do 0 damage. Referencing how Muk can just absorb weak attacks.

If you got one of the Virtual Consoles on 3DS of Pokémon Red, Blue or Yellow you could get a Charizard and teach it Seismic Toss when you get the TM and then transfer it to Sun and Moon
The funny part about the Pokemon games is that somehow you can miss a Pokemon if they are asleep or paralyzed and can't move or if they are frozen solid.

Wow, the idea of this series is interesting enough. I hope in the future you would consider using teams that are not just mainly Ash's team, and what-if battle with different characters. An example being Alan's League Team vs. Paul's League Team.
