Thank you for a fascinating 'behind the scenes' video. It's plain to see how much hard work goes into making 'Takis Shelter' the happy, healthy environment it is for animals. But what's also obvious, is that the talented, big-hearted humans who run it are truly valued and respected, and that means it's a great place to work.
The atmosphere and ethos of any workplace is ultimately created by the boss - it comes from the top down, always. This confirms what an exceptional man and leader Takis is. How typical of the humble human he is, that he only has a supporting role in this feature, and let's his team take the spotlight. He is the epitome of a fine employer!

Eine ernstgemeinte Frage, ganz ohne jede Zwischentöne: könnt ihr also echt garantieren, dass jeder eurer Hundertschaften an Hunde, plus Katzen ect.
auch echt jeden einzelnen Tag menschliche Kuscheleinheiten bekommt?!

Das hast Du wunderbar geschrieben, Danke! Und dabei wurden all jene, die bei Takis die Anlage aufbauen und die Blumen versorgen nicht einzeln vorgestellt. Es ist eine großartige Mannschaft, all jene und natürlich Takis selber machen dieses vorbildliche Tierheim aus.
Volunteers at work would be a very interesting ongoing project - particularly interaction of helpers with animals that have special needs - as for instance River, who responded more readily to female attention, massage and a reassuring, calming presence. A little bit about what makes people volunteer and their personal experience with individual animals. This could be done with voice over, since not everyone is happy to be interviewed. 🤗

Great Video and good explanation. I would love to see this type of video on a regular basis of 2 times a year and present the volunteers and workers of the shelter
It is wonderful to see everyone working together happily for the good welfare of all the cats and dogs. Our world need more of such people to help all the animal rescuers.

Beautiful people doing beautiful work. I am always amazed at how immaculate the shelter is. The animals are always picked up after, have fresh clean water, clean fluffy blankets and happy tails! Thank you 🙏🏻 🤗🥰❤️
What a wonder full video! I would like to see the journey of how an adopter adopts a dog/cat, then travels with that pet all the way back to their home in another country /overseas. Also a very detailed video of the adoption process. Or..Overseas foster family coming to pick up several dogs/cats and the entire journey and final adoption of these pets into their adoptive homes.
We love you all fore helping our loved Mr. Takis and all the animals in the shelter and new animals too come.

Excellent work. The local authorities should support Takis more, considering he is providing steady local employment. Crete could promote sterilisation more, perhaps offering €10 to people who take dogs to be neutered (for free of course).
Perhaps paying a small amount to lowest income pet owners to sterilize and microchip their animals might be more effective than the current free sterilization, which is not being used.

Just a heads-up to any Takis supporters also inclined to help the Jutta Shelter, which Takis brought to everyone's attention about three years ago. The Jutta Shelter has been having a fund raiser aimed at defraying the cost of the animals' medication, and so far it's falling well short of the goal. Any of their recent videos contains the link.
