She performs this song in the film "Blues Brothers 2000"! In the original Blues Brothers movie she does show stopping performance of "Think". Highlight of the film for me.
JBLETHAL! Love your reactions the best! First saw you react to Pavarotti singing Nessun Dorma and we happily cried along with you. But hey! Aretha wasn't asking for HIS money, she was going to give him HERS! Here are the lyrics to that verse. Never stop what you are doing. You bring people joy! I'm about to give you all of my money And all I'm askin' in return, honey Is to give me my profits When you get home (just a, just a, just a, just a) Yeah baby (just a, just a, just a, just a) When you get home (just a little bit) Yeah (just a little bit) Do it for me now, just a little bit Ooo, your kisses (oo) Sweeter than honey (oo) And guess what? (oo) So is my money (oo) All I want you to do (oo) for me Is give it to me when you get home (re, re, re, re) Yeah baby (re, re, re, re) Whip it to me (respect, just a little bit) When you get home, now (just a little bit)
Love this all time classic by Aretha. I believe that Whitney Houston’s Mother Cissy was one of the back up vocalists. Aretha did a beautiful cover of Elton John/Bernie Taupins Border Song. Favourite of mine
This truly is a GREAT song. Even though Otis Redding was the creator, after hearing Aretha’s cover, Mr. Redding said “the song belongs to her now”. Her recording came at a time when women were exercising their might for equality, recognition and RESPECT. It was the theme song of a movement. That’s one reason why it was a great song. Her timing on when she released it was key. Thanks for the great reaction. 👏👏👏🥰
Reefa .. yeah.. this might be the song that the invading aliens go ''.. weel shieeit.. lets not destroy this planet' know what I mean. All the crazy human stuff we did we have some good arts

In a book I read written by Freddie Mercury's partner, it was said he listen to Aretha Franklin throughout his house as he was in his last days.
Hi JB! CLASSIC !

This world rating would make Ottis Redding the writer of the greatest song, and one of the very best singers who ever lived.

Classic...
I'd have to say it's a tie with Respect and I Will Survive... It's hard to choose because they both are just timeless.
Singing with authority 😂😂😂
❤❤❤
😊🎉
Her version of "you're all I need to get by" WOW,my fave Aretha track - personally I think Aretha has the weakest voice of her sisters. 🤔🌞🎶😎🙌👍

Thats open to personal opinion...it's a great song but greatest in history??? Not in my opinion.
