There really is a need for a company be it domestic or abroad to manufacture and sell inexpensive complete micro-hydro kits. They are such awsum green technology. These cheap turnkey kits would do well in 1st and 3rd world countries alike. It would require a strong advertising campaign to showcase there cost effective benefits to the masses.
you did a good job but this big one moves a lot of air, which is power lost based on the small inlet tube. even changing pulleys is of little use since it is your water (flow rate and pressure) that creates the power furthermore there are losses in the iron as well as those in the winding to take into account Good work
With a few nozzles I think this could work but for maximum efficiency of the tesla turbine the water needs to spiral around the turbine and exit the center generating centripetal forces. I still think this is a great idea to demonstrate and test the idea of how fluid dynamics acts on the disks, thank you!

That idea is what kicked off this channel for me, it's what I've been working towards and hopefully we will get there together!

Good work
Thank you for this. I'll have to keep it in consideration for upcoming vids
try open tesla turbine without the case, it does not require 3d printing. its super easy to make, even from sheet metal.
Fully open, or just side plates? This is a great idea, thank you!
@@Beyond_The_Tint well like an open water wheel, of course you can use the case too. it can be vertical or horizontal.
