Bulgaria. February, Sunny Beach hotels plus first sea swim!

- We look at some Sunny Beach hotel upgrades that are busy with teams of people carrying out work. Susan also takes her first swim of 2024 in the Black Sea, it's very early in the year but she has fun, alone though!
We finish with a warming coffee after Susan gets back into dry clothes again. The weather has really warmed up and its pleasant strolling along the promenade now.

Wonderful video and Susan wins the award for the most hardy Puddleduck of Sunny Beach! So glad to see you guys stopped at the Condor Bar afterwards to warm up with a latte and hot chocolate.
It was nice to see all the work being done at the hotels on the north end close to where we stayed last summer (the Hotel Efir). Keep up the good work and we love seeing you guys every week on your vlogs!😊❤
Yes you were up the north area, waiting for lira to open , then it's summer. Susan likes the cooler winter a lot and the bracing sea, I like brandy!

Hello. I am new to your channel. My wife and I are about your age, but we don't have your enthusiasm and positive attitude. My admiration for the lady and for swimming in the Black Sea in February. We will follow your channel.
Susan started the winter swimming with friends. Takes courage to up sticks and build a new life in another country but my parents retired to Spain making the decision easier. We have an active Facebook page with more of our normal life here on there.

Susan is not crazy, she will just improve her blood circulation entering the still cold sea, but with sunshine and look even younger :D

Yeah, weather was really good in BG especially today (23rd February 2024). The very good news is that Burgas Airport will be officially closed in March for refurbs and Fraport officially announced on their website that the terminal will be upgraded and renovated in 2025. Also there will be Dreamliner big planes every week from Manchester in May 2024 and new routes from Jet2 so, more UK tourists :D There are new routes from Czech airports and new route from Frankfurt and Hanover. I think the season will be good. Chao chao and enjoy the weather! :D
Will be a busy season and bigger planes will be better for the area . Airport does need a refurbishment now , especially in years ahead with increased traffic.

Susan has previously done it mid winter with it snowing, apparently cold water swimming is good for you.

I would be embarrassed to do what he has done, was at it before we started and tried copying us as soon as we started. We started this as nobody was doing it all year round.

It has to be warm for me to go in, I have a paddle board prefer on top of the water.
