- We walk around Sunny Beach in Bulgaria, starting at one of the older style hotels that is still open and then showing the more modern accommodation available for your holiday here. Bookings are sky high and so are the prices to match this year. Don't leave it too late to try and book in the main season or you may be unlucky. Our own family have just booked their flights this last week to visit this summer, Susan is getting excited!. Sunny Beach seems to surging in popularity at present and is gearing up for a great year.

I stayed at the Continental Hotel in June 1978 ,returned to Bulgaria in 2022 and back again May this year. Love your show

Good morning! It's Friday at 8 AM here in Malmö and -2°. According to my Google search, it's 6° in Sunny Beach so I imagine you're having your breakfast dressed in your bathing costumes. ❤😊
We have good weather coming , on Monday 17c but it is cold today as we have had our first rain for a long time. It will start we be me regular nice weather from now on.

I was at Tiara beach last Semptember. Felt slightly out of the way, but beautiful hotel.
It is deceiving as we were back at busy areas very quickly. On the other hand it's quieter so you get a better sleep
Really enjoy your videos it’s a shame that they have a short season. Is there any plans in the future to extend the season due to sunny beach having good weather up till October? Keep making more videos even in the winter months you and Susan entertain us.❤🌞🏖️Bulgaria.
They have tried but once the flights stop that's it and after the end of September there isn't enough to fill planes
That’s a shame when the likes of southern Spain is all year round I know the weather is better in Spain in the winter. But what I loved about sunny beach was it was a totally different atmosphere to Spain hopefully in the near future we will return and venture out and see the real Bulgaria your videos are great and seeing the videos of the surrounding villages really makes me want to experience it. Keep up the good work. Just a question does Bulgaria have any winter resorts I know I can google it but I’d trust your opinion as from what you say and do is a honest assessment of Bulgaria. Looking forward to more videos.
Bulgaria shifts away from the beach to the big ski season and staff move as well often last week of September weather turns and you need a coat on but not the last two bansko is main ski resort but there are others. We stayed in a ski hotel overlooking Sofia, amazing views and it was really high class.
Love watching your videos. Of possible could you do one near aqua nevis and show what way to go to get to main strip?
It's a 10 minute or so walk to the strip from the hotel, it's not far from our apartment in fact though we have not exactly filmed the route to the front, just bits.
Looking forward to returning this year. Gona "risk" a full 2 weeks stay this year. 😂
Will definitely create some content this time. I bought everything with me last year from 360 cameras to drone & I did absolutely zero filming...

We are outside today in the garden and just mowed the lawn. Some contrast.

Can you tell me what is going on with the riu Helios I stay there 5 years ago and was looking to go back to the hotel but can not find it on any holiday sites.
It closed in Covid. Last year it was taken by new people but they used it to accommodate the staff from Dreams and Secrets . It was due to open as a Hyatt this year but we have seen nothing happening there yet so nobody knows?
This weekend was a big holiday weekend and a lot of Bulgarian have a break and the seaside local buisnesses have a soft opening. And the other thing is the winter season is nearly over...Bansko looks terrible and it looks like the snownseason ends early this year.
There are are lot of golden pass russians and some refugees in the area, but not far as much as the years before.
I know rhe area really well and i'm a disappointed to change the Europe to a Casino place, there are much more places at the north end now called Platinum casinos...these four smaller hotels was nice and family one, but money gets it all...

Profit is King. There are Ukrainians of course , as you say less then previous as many desired to get to Germany, Italy and other places in Europe. We know Russians living here, been here a few years and run businesses for them life has not changed. Unfortunately we have had comments and we have seen racist posts appearing now from people arriving here recently. People should just judge on their own experiences.

Hi mate, would you recommend a group of 19 year old lads going to sunny beach for holiday ?
There is lots of life and fun for you in the main season here, June, July and August. Our granddaughter 18, came with friends last year, they had a great time but were exhausted after a few nights out around Flower Street. Watch Emergency Sunny Beach made for E4, couple of episodes follow a group of lads, we met one who came back and worked for Party Crew this summer.
The neptune maybe a loverly hotel,but we stayed there last year and to be honest,they do not cater for the British.
Full of Germans,who were very rude and arrogant
The staff were rude,unless you were german.
The cleaning staff were brilliant,non stop all day.
Thetford is geared up for the Germans..
So,back to the melia this year,the best hotel in sunny beach.
Sorry you did not enjoy this hotel , many of our friends and neighbors are German and lovely people. We know many Brits who have stayed there and it scores as one of the top 5 hotels in Sunny Beach in verified guest reviews. Many feel the same after staying at somewhere like the Melia which is really good, we know a few the the staff in there who are retained all year.

There are few Russians as they need a visa and are not allowed to fly into the EU . There are Ukrainians, many are now settling here and investing , starting businesses which is good. It is not season at all yet, will change start of May. You may see us about. Anyone watching our videos knows there is nothing tourist wise till last week of April when flights start, we film empty streets all winter, so we often finish with a coffee showing life.
@@sunnybeachlife5860 These are not Ukrainians, but Russians and Belarusians with a Ukrainian passport so that they can enter the EU without a visa for the pseudo-war of oligarchs from Russia and Ukraine.They all speak Russian and we have the same thing here in Poland, we are fed up with them.They do not invest, but they destroy the EU from the inside and do shit, which is already visible when everyone in Poland and the EU goes on strike because they do not want these pseudo-Ukrainians and their goods from the oligarchs.Healthy bulls should be in Ukraine and fight for independence and not party in Poland, Bulgaria and the EU.They are Russians, that's why they stay in Poland or Bulgaria, so they don't shoot at their own people, they don't want to fight for the independence of Ukraine, but of Russia.Regards

Russia issued as many possible passports to Ukraine so many have both. We are not interested in race issues or sexual persuasion , we know how big these issues are in Poland and have witnessed first hand unpleasant scenes. Please do not put comments on our page again of this type . Thank you.
