- Its a fantastic sunny March Sunday in Sunny Beach. I take a walk to see some of the many closed restaurants and bars but some have started the process of preparing to open. I give a glimpse of what to expect in just a few weeks now as it bursts into life again. There is work going on all over the resort as businesses start to prepare for a huge expected influx of tourists. Living here gives us the opportunity to see the cycle of change year round. Bookings are very high this year so it looks like it's going to be a great season.

Another great video packed full of information on what's going on in Sunny Beach. The transformation that goes on in the next couple of months is fun to watch. You did a great job of showing folks the contrast of this transformation at many of the places we frequented in the Sunny Beach. Keeo up the good work!😉😊💓
Can't wait for it to spring into life. Looking at places we like it is hard to imagine how quickly they will open from looking derelict.

Thank you, my first were nearly two years ago and really basic , many hours locked away learning new skills. I had a drone before coming here so that was the start of my journey as was never interested in photography before.

Did open almost all year, I think they took a month or so after Xmas but it may turn back as more people here all year .

Look at Amazing walk but empty filmed last October., I shot it with the drone. Any video of northern sunny beach you will see the hotel area. It's a five minute walk to the Helena and the mini train stop.

Shocked how SB is changing. Many Bulgarians avoid it. It is becoming like a future Spanish resort town e.g. Benidorm or Fuengirola. Of course, the infrastructure still needs improvements. Crazy times! 😊 I mean if Hyatt decided to open hotels there maybe there is demand...
It cannot stay in the past, hopefully it will be apartment rather than hotel construction as all inclusive has destroyed places around the world. Bulgarians know value but we went to Veliko Tarnovo and it was more expensive.

The resort is completely overbuildee and have no more space only higher prices for 30 years. So don't go there
@@SuneBerlin Prices are still relatively lower than most European destinations. We have German neighbours and a big community here with several we know planning to come and reside here in the near future. The lower crime rate, political situation at home and relaxed lifestyle are appealing. It will expand, develop and grow that is natural but luckily the infrastructure wont allow it to become Spain or like a Northern European Coastlines where you cannot view the sea for apartment development.
Andrew as you were outside kamelia bar. I'm surprised you never mentioned the. Bar. It,s a great bar and it could do with the recognition ,,,and also what's the progress on the new. Build opersite sunny day 3. Any way great video,s I really enjoy them.

It's tilt shift effect, focus on the.middle and up the colour density. Ideally you need an angle of 45° for it to work best. I won't eat all the cake.

The Guinness was 6 leva at spiders, the resort average was around 9 leva. You will see us in these bars features in this video

Last year there was some talk about Russian tourists being unwelcomed and even taunted in Sunny Beach. Is that true? Oh and before I forget ... someone once told me that pig's ear was worth trying so the last time I was in Sunny Beach I asked at Billy Bistro (near the SBT railhead) if they served it but he gave me a grimace and said if I really wanted some he'd serve up a dish of it for free. I gave up the idea.
We keep away from many of the Facebook groups, not pleasant comments and full of people with issues. We know russian owners made it here via turkey a long trip and they enjoyed the summer. Facebook is terrible for making all sorts of people feel apprehensive of coming here. Pigs ears are a delicacy, I just look at them and have something else

Hi is there any hotels there that I can book self catering but buy all inclusive wrist bands when we get there?
There are hotels like aqua Nevis where friends of ours pay a day rate to go in all inclusive and eat and use facilities.

You would catch a bus to Varna from Sunny Beach then a bus to Golden Sands not far out from the city.

Sounds like a sunny day being away from the resort. Possibly it would rent to a restaurant or bar for staff for the season, gives you 5 months. It's a short season here so few rent year round. Holiday people prefer to be near things. There are more Canadians all the time we keep bumping into them.

Several, kaminetsa is best known at 6% , you can certainly drink a few when it's hot without falling over.
@sunnybeachlife5860 6% is a touch average if it is 6% and not piss watered-down.. just on my way to Amsterdam from leeds long journey . Took a fortune at cheltenham

@@Davejono2 people drink a lot as it's very hot in summer, there are craft beers but mainly drunk in the cooler periods as won't cool you down.
Since 2 years Sunny Beach is not that popular for bulgarians. The people are moving to Sozopol where the real party is :D
Property prices have certainly gone up a lot here.the agents we know have been continually selling to Bulgarians and comment on it often, I know last year they were surprised at numbers of Bulgarians buying here. Personally a quiet bar and tasty food with good company is great, our party days are past.

That's good it's not for everyone.. it is the most beautiful country with mountains, forests and unspoilt areas without people but wolves and bears. We just show the resort , bit like looking at Blackpool or Skegness and judging the entire UK on that. Two miles away is Nessebar, As good as Greece or Italy it's beautiful, modern Vlas with it's marina the other direction very smart with exotic cars and boats. Most people look at sunny beach as it's the best known name but there is a lot more locally here and we have done videos on it.
Who's breathing so loud while you filming?? Looking with airpods a big nooo
A wireless mic as normal, I was struggling with a recovering twisted ankle, causing a strained knee on the other leg and this was my first walk for a week. Also a chest from all the dust with builders . On previous videos you can hear Susan breathing on her mic as obviously we have one each. Air buds and phones are terrible, lots of good content is ruined by background noise making it hard to listen to..
