Great looking little olive there mate. Bet that would be a great one for brookies. Thanks for sharing with us all again my friend. Best Regards from West Virginia, Ken 🇬🇧🦃🎣🦆
Love this pattern Davie, superb tying as usual. Very reminiscent of a dark rough olive I have tied that does really well on the upper Clyde. Stay safe and well, Big Davie
A simple and rustic model, of those which have my predilection especially in summer and at the beginning of the autumn, that it is in river or in reservoir. A fly which floats low or in the film and which never leaves the fish indifferent. Another great edit. Thank you
Beautiful as always Davie. Think's for sharing. I really like the idea of parachute patterns. It seems that I hook up with more fish? God bless and keep on keeping on. Walter
I enjoyed it, Davie... thank you. I guess I don't understand why you wind a parachute hackle clockwise... at least in the sense the tie off would tend to loosen it with out what I've learned from you when counter winding... one wrap on the material and one on the hook. Why is this different? Mike
Hi, I'm Ezequiel from PESCART Fly Fishing, I follow your RUclips channel, I live in Brazil and I would like to share your videos with subtitles in Portuguese so that Brazilians can get to know your work! do you authorize Davie macphail? att Ezekiel
Hi Fiona, Gamesport was the place to go for your permit for many of the clubs waters up and down the river Ayr so even though they don't sell the tickets anymore Matt will know who to contact if you give him a call as I am the worst person to ask.. I'm sorry I can't help you but if I do find some info I will get back to you.. All the very best Davie
Thank you from Russia! From Siberia. You have wonderful work.

One of my favorite dry flys, the other one is a elk hair caddis fly. Maine brook trout love em.
Fish it year round. Masterful.

Looks AMAZING!!! 👍👍👍
I have caught carp on this style of fly so its worth tying a few in different sizes if you're a carp fisherman. Sizes 8-12 work best for me
Fantastic as always!
