Taj was such a sweet person; she definitely got too comfortable at the end, but her loved one moment will forever be one of the sweetest and most wholesome moments in the show's history.
The Taj moment I feel was going to be "you can trade your loved one (so you wont see them) but all your tribe does, or, you see your loved one and everyone else doesn't". But because the moment was just so pure, Jeff changed it so everyone can see their loved one. And she just had to go to exile.

i just checked the peak viewerships of the all the seasons starting from 2000 and i'm very disheartened to see that it's been tanking over the years. from a peak of almost 30 million back in 2000/2001 down to just less than 6 million viewers for the recent one. i'm afraid one of my favorite reality tv show is about to end soon. last one might be in a few years. probably won't be some survivor by 2030s 😔
The latest seasons have been boring. People don't want to make moves anymore afraid of being out of the game. They play the boring game. Back then contestants used to make big moves and blindsides.
I miss the old survivor shows. The new ones just dont hit the same anymore. Not sure what it is but seasons 45 and up hasnt made me like any survivors as much as the old ones.
And yet Jeff doesn't want to bring back the auction. They were fine how they were before, without the advantages which incentivize people to not spend their money until the end.
They’re literally back, and the entire advantage problem was fixed instead having a couple brand new issues where players max out as quickly as possible. What are you even complaining about

Probably not, Production was open about knowing they had 65 minute episodes last season but also said they didn’t know if they’d have it this year so they probably didn’t think they’d have the time for it.
