- A cold front blew through and the water level dropped by a lot. I went out to one of my frequented winter wade fishing spots in Galveston bay to target speckled trout.

Love winter time fishing. I had stopped wade fishing for a few years but got back to doing this year. Looking forward to seeing your videos. I’ll be posting some on RUclips as well
Love your videos. Just have a question for you, do still wade fish with waders in the hot part of summer?
I love your attitude, might see you out there fishing, have a good one!
Thanks for the details about tactics
Really enjoy the discussion of the thought process. What you are doing is important. Why you are doing it is even more important. Sets you apart from some of the other folks out there. Keep up the good stuff man.
Thank you! Glad you liked it!
I feel like I’ve had a ton of bites that run straight towards me lately as well. Good thing I use a baitcaster and it picks up line really quick and I can catch up with it most of the time. Not always lol
Those fish are getting smart!
Nice fish enjoyed it
Thanks for watching man!
I know the exact area and will give it a go from my kayak. Hope to see you out there!
Good luck!
Are you fishing 8 mile road ive never fished there but i will
Damn stingrays...lol
Where is the place you fish
What rod is that man! Looks very light weight and finesse
Waterloo HP Lite
Amazing trout rod in my opinion!
You have any issues with good size red fish on that rod?
I honestly haven’t caught that many slot reds on this rod. But I have caught a couple bulls and it handled them well.
Nice. I was looking at getting a new wade/kayak rod and this one caught my eye. Just didn’t know if it was too soft for anything other than trout. The rod still holding up well?
Yes. I snapped the tip off on mine but that was completely user error. The rod can definitely take a beating! Super light, very sensitive for that winter trout bite, but yet it has plenty of backbone to set the hook on big flounder. Best rod I’ve ever owned.
I like the h£|| out of your videos and one day would like to fish with you. I have a 25’ Skiff so we would have lots of room
Glad you like the vids and thanks for watching!
winter? it's like 60 degree today lol
Gotta love these Texas winters!
Then bam 80+ degrees
