So great to hear RIch is feeling exiting again, also fish suggestion a NICE green sea grass wrasse (Novaculichthys macrolepidotus) theres no green fish like it in the hobby if you can find a nice one
Rich, I have been envisioning a mangrove paludarium with softies now for about 6 years. I love the idea❤ R/O Misti g systems, landmass, elevated planting! So exciting!
It makes me so happy to see rich finding the joy in life! There's very little each one of us has control over so once we discover what we do, it's so freeing! I'll continue waiting for each and every episode of beef, keep up the great work fellas
Great show fellas! Rich, I’m excited that you’re excited about being excited about the hobby, again. Ben, didn’t I just see you on Venice beach playing an accordion on roller skates? Cheers!
I second as someone new to your desk discord, it’s a non-confrontational space. I’m sure I’ve asked a couple of really basic questions and gotten tremendous help from people on the discord.
I think an archive of all the early FAMA is kind of cool. Granted much of the information may be dated but from a historical point if you ever want to research that changes in the hobby, that’s a good place to start. I would love to find old Aquarium Fish Magazine editions., I wrote an article in the early 90s that was published, about controlling algae in a reef aquarium, and I lost my copy in a garage fire.
I used a laser level to put in the anchors for hanging the aquarium lights over my peninsula tank. Used a stud finder on the laser line to find the center of the ceiling joists. Easy mode.
I like the idea of mounting a stud in the attic and just a little hole through the drywall - i need to mount my lights over my 6’ 180 and I was going to see if it lined up with the joint (
Well the tank idea sounds really cool

Nice to see that you are back after such a long hiatus. I was worried you guys had dissapeared just when i found you
Have you gone back to check out our older episodes?
I love Rich’s approach of “why just replace the old tank when you can use that as an excuse to get an insane new tank *and* replace the old tank?”

And if you experience anything different, you come to me and let me know please.
Reef beef rules. Saw you both at reefstock but didn’t want to bother you
Please don’t do that again. Please “bother” us.
Always bother us! Nothing keeps us going like people saying hello!
We need a west coast convention for us California folk
