Ok I wish there was an episode or even a 5 minute scene because this is just a golden example of her growth and development. Dipcifica fans going crazy right now.
9:45 you see... the problem is, Bill tried to appeal to her heritage as a Northwest, rather than her feelings as a girl, I mean, if he took one look at Giffany, he would have known how dangerous love can be. Had he appealed to her budding feelings for Dipper, and her desire to go *against* her family, he may have had her wrapped around her fingers. Heck he could have turned her into a Giddeon sorta figure for Dipper, making her obsessive by convincing her she wants to *own* dipper rather than simply hang out with him. Seriously Bill... you done goofed there
Bill projects a lot. If he can't 100% figure out what someone wants he just starts projecting his own feelings which are "entrapment, control and freedom".
10:36 You know Gideon becoming Bill’s jester after a betrayal deal is kinda like 2:55 when Bill became one after another one. Look how the tables have turned.
Bill’s like the Eldritch equivalent to a genie: he’ll Grant your wish, just in the most f**ked up way possible Kinda wish we’d seen the Pacifica one tho, or just more Pacifica in general, it’d have been really great for her character
I love that Pacifica rejected Bill's deal because it further solidifies her character development from Northwest Mansion Mystery and Bill calling Pacifica a paternity test is wild.
@DrFeba Me, if he ever stops avoiding me. Every night I tried to think of bill in an attempt to contact him. One night, I had a dream where he calls me on a flip phone, and when I answer, all the tech in the room (specifically a big tv on the wall, among other things) lights up yellow/broadcasts the message: “stop trying to contact me” or something like that. He did it in a deep, messy, electronic voice that definitely would’ve creeped me out irl, but now I’m just ignoring his instructions on purpose in hopes of getting a rise out of him. Lol
I kinda wish we saw Pacifica reject Bill’s deal, mainly since it would’ve further solidified her character growth when I’m pretty sure she would’ve been more tempted to take the deal pre-Northwest Manor Mystery.
Can any of you imagine if he made a Deal with Roz from The Wild Robot? You know, so she can escape and Return to that Island. She would Regret putting her Animal Friends in Danger!
For Pacifica, I like to think that the paternity test kinda makes anything where they poked at her having blonde hair as berserk button. I mean, if she didn’t have Northwest blood I doubt she could’ve opened the gates and stopped the curse of course her mom and dad are related distantly at least like how some rich people marry their relatives
Fun fact: the guy to the right of Bill at 12:34 is actually a real person from Rome who ate his own child seconds after their birth. (I think he was a king or something and an angel told him that his son would overthrow him. fact check me on this)
You're right about the son overthrowing him. That guy is Chronus, Ruler of the Titans and Father of several of the Greek Gods. He was told that one of his children would overthrow him, so he ate all but one. BUT THEN ALONG CAME ZEUS! His mother, Rhea, hid him away so he could get stronger to face him and free his siblings. (Hestia, Hades, Demeter, Poseidon, Hera, and Chiron.) In the end, Zeus was victorious, cutting Chronus open to free his siblings, and banishing him and most of the Titans to Tartarus. Zeus then took his place as King of the Greek Gods. And that's the Gospel Truth!
@@TheArchivist30 does that mean the theraprism is the modern equivalent to tartarus? I mean it makes sense bc both are places of punishment for monsters like bill and chronus
Between Bill being erased and making the Book of Bill, he does make one other deal. Before Bill dies, he says something in reverse, which is "A-X-O-L-O-T-L, the time has come for me to burn! I invoke the ancient power that I may return!" After dying, he's sent to "A tank outside space and time", where he meets the Axolotl, an omnipotent being who rules the multiverse. Basically, Bill says "Let me live again", and then the Axolotl says "Sure, but you have to do my challenge first." and Bill's like "Ok, bet.". The "Challenge" was rehab therapy. The axolotl will uphold his end of the deal, because once Bill finishes therapy, he'll come back to life as a new creature, like a butterfly.
I could see that happening given that Pacifica's dad Preston was quick to join Bill when Weirdmageddon began, only for Bill to decide to shuffle the functions of every hole on his face.
On the topic of Pacifica, on the website, she says that she has to clean up the feathers from her parents’ adult masquerade parties. I don’t wanna say what the implications are. I think the website also implies that her parents conditioned her to the bell by starving her. Also, I’m pretty sure that her ancestor was the Anticipherite, Abigail Blackwell. You could totally do a deep dive into Pacifica.
If the book dipper and Mabel’s guide to mystery is canon, there’s a page where dipper says that he feels tired and is just going to rest his eyes for a second and on the next page it’s bill writing, this took place after sock opera and because bill didn’t have a physical form yet we can only assume that the deal with dipper wasn’t off yet and bill took control of dippers body to write in the book. I don’t think dipper realised he was possibly possessed in that moment because he claims that he just went to sleep and woke up to see bills writing in the book I’m not saying this 100% is what happened but it’s probable.
WAIT so you're telling me "Rock That Looks Like a Face Rock" was really a face that now looks like a rock because it was turned into a rock that looks like a face?
12:50 two off screen deals talked in this is not a website include Wendy who dismissed him with the circle joke and Robby/Thompson this fails with a jump scare as robbie assumed he had to eat bill since he looks like a dorrito.
Hey roundtable I have a question for your next videos are you going to talk about new gravity falls characters and villains and Steven universe new villains both human and gem because I just got the human idea from you and I just wondered maybe some of these humans might be just evil or they might have a vendetta get someone or maybe the gems and they might use gem technology to accomplish their goals or after an accident involving gem technology they gain abilities What do you think.
There is a lot of evidence that he also made a deal with philiph aka belos maybe telling him that he would kill all witches and he made the portal from toh since in the book of bill we see a lot of toh easter eggs and even belos easter eggs
I know this doesn't really have to do with Bill making deals, but I still want to say it: Bill having destroyed his home dimension by accident and feeling guilt over it ruins his character for me. He's supposed to be evil and irredeemable and hateable.
Look, Hitler's dad abused him, but that doesn't mean Hitler was "redeemable". Bill's past is meant to connect him to Stan and Ford. The Theraprism is the perfect fate for Bill because he, unlike the older Pines Twins, refuses to change. Bill will rot in that place for eons and it will be a prison of his own making.
Well there is one more deal at the end of the book of bill I mean the end end the final page end he made a deal with a small bird so currently he is possessing a bird

I wonder if maybe Anne Boonchuy would make a deal with Bill to see the Plantars again.
Perhaps. Bill might see Anne's " supposedly" lost powers as a way to carry on with his plans.
@@cruzjackal I very strongly suspect that the mysterious deity that her powers come from is none other the Axolotl.
I also have a feeling that the Axolotl has connection with the Archivist (The Owl House).

@lizardlover9941

I think it's only a matter of time before Bill escapes the Theriprism.

Not Bill calling her a paternity test 🤣🤣🤣
I know right?
I snickered 😂
If Bill offered Wendy a deal it would be something like reuniting Wendy with her mother.
That would be a good future theory for the Roundtable. Who was Wendy's mom and how come we haven't seen her in the show?

I'd love to see Bill make a deal with Phillip Wittebane from The Owl House.
Yeah, I feel like Bill might've been a better partner than the Collector.
@cruzjackal I'm betting Bill would have betrayed him before he could betray Bill.
Yeah, I can see that. I feel like he'll probably switches with Philip.
There's a secret code in the Book of Bill that reads "CURSE WITTEBANE."
