The new gsxr is crazy fast hes going to do really well. Ive done alot to my r1s and got it from 156who to 194 stock motor and let me tell you its been a mother fucker to get it to rip top end like it does now. But at the end of the day it was all worth the $ especially when i ripped right by the new pani v4 that had a full akra down the front straight!

How do you like this compared to the R1?? Im R1 for life but do not really like the whole crossplain. I like raw top end aggressive power so I still love the 04/06 R1. I’m sure the 15/18 R1 would be good to but I love the look of the older R1. Last gsxr I rode was the 03,& the 05 when it came out. They just don’t feel as tight to me. Yamaha just feels like it has better brakes and a tighter feel overall. Like the tolerances on everything are much tighter.

Hey Josh, I can't wait to see how ya do with a good (well funded!!!) team behind you and to be honest, a bit better of a bike to start with. I own a new R1 and go on a couple FB groups for R1 owners. I swear, they are "brand fans". Seem to be younger people on there that don't understand, or maybe haven't owned several brands, that other bikes ARE good, even better!! Lol. You should Run the Yoshimura R-11sq on your loaner setup. Not a lot of people know about that Yoshi-Can. Special Ordered mine through Yoshimura-America that was made to order. Took 2 months to get, but great sound and I like the look better.
