I started drumming a little over a year and a half ago, the first song I learned with our church's worship team was he is faithful and I learned it by watching your drum cover. I am very thankful to you for taking the time to make these videos, I'm learning this song currently so I can play with the worship team tomorrow I help run. My ear has gotten better and I figured out a lot on my own but all the little things I missed you put on full display and your technique is great. You've been super helpful to me in learning the drums :) Thank you for your dedication and sharing the talent that God has blessed you with.

I hope that makes sense. I am literally just going left-right-left-right... the entire time. Just applying accents. If you watch the hi-hat and snare part starting at 2:45, you should be able to get it.

Hey Abraham! Try practicing the beat I play at 2:45 on the hi-hat and snare. The times when you need to hit the snare are the exact same times you accent when just on the snare. I hope that makes sense. I am literally just going left-right-left-right... the entire time. Just applying accents. If you watch the hi-hat and snare part starting at 2:45, you should be able to get it.
when I watched this I was like how on earth is he doing that, then I realized he is actually using both hands for the accent. If you slow the video down in the settings you can see the repetition that he uses. Its amazing! so fluid!
