As I was in the neighbourhood I thought it would be delightful to say hello to my Gnomey at The Mulberry Centre at West Middlesex University Hospital, Isleworth.
It was lovely to introduce myself to Christina and Penny who work at the Mulberry Centre. It was my first time to visit Gnomey at the Centre since I created him. He was in splendid shape!
I created this mosaic sculpture in 2016 as part of the 500th anniversary of Hampton Court Palace. The project entitled Gnomes Unearthed. Fifteen Gnomes were created with 15 artists and 15 community groups.
The drawing designs were worked up with a lovely women's group from the Trinjan Center, Osterley, Middlesex.
This was a Wild in Art intuitive in collaboration with Hampton Court Palace.

That's SO COOL, Caroline! How gratifying it must be to go back and visit your work and see that it's standing the test of time--and weather! LOVE the peacock and all the crockery. I imagine it must have been very therapeutic for the participants, as well. That's the "therapy" part of art therapy! 🙂
