This exactly why I prefer DC. Because they actually make you think about how these heroes and villains have repercussions in the real world. The film was a complete package and an epic journey from start to finish. I love the graphic novels used, the properly executed punchlines, and the background of the characters introduced. This movie did a great job showing the sheer power and destructive capabilities of Demi-gods/Superheroes/Heroes/Kryptonians under on Earth. I am insanely in love with this cinematography and combat sequence. Notice how the female characters didn't bash the man's masculinity or invoke any "girl power" nonsense? And still, they came off as a powerful female character in the movie. (WW, Faora, Luis Lane, Mera, HQ and Martha). That's good writing by Goyer, the Nolan brothers, and Zack Snyder. Also brilliant acting by everyone.
I think Michael Shannon is actually General Zod in person. I believe he can play ANY villain. Dude's face is just intimidating as hell ll. And Faora better come back, she was so amazing and gorgeous in MoS.

In Superman 2 Zod was just a bad guy for the sake of being bad. And then wanted to kill superman because of what his father did. In MOS Zods story is much better thought out.
