Went to Adrian to record their Super Sirex located in an alleyway behind the First Baptist Church on Houston Avenue. What can I say? It was very loud! Throughout the video you can hear a nearby STH-10 & SD-10 doing attack as well. The City of Adrian tests their sirens on the first Wednesday of each month at 6:00 PM weather permitting.

I guess that the people of Adrian really want that siren operational and functional. Probably the best-in-shape WWII air raid siren I've ever seen.
Someone needs to contact the fire department and request them to sound the Attack signal!

Is a rising and falling tone, in this video they’re doing the alert tone which is a steady constant blaring

I wonder if the reason why this Sirex being the only siren in the town that does Alert, while the rest of the sirens blare in Attack, is to extend the life span of the rotator gears. 🤔🤔

Fun fact: The single horn sirex is also called a SuperSirex. Both the dual horn and single horn unit.
Yes, the Super Sirex refers to the rotating model, the regular Sirex on the other hand is omnidirectional.
The single horn rotating version has the Sirex No. 15 nomenclature.

@Doggo yes but all the tone comes out of the intakes. All of the over-tones come out of the ports.
