Whatever said and done, Mother Teresa sheltered and took care of people whom most of us will fear to even go near due to their medical conditions (discrimination was even worse in those times with lack of medical knowldege and awareness). She also didn't start these after the money started flowing in. She did it at her youth and controlled all her worldly desires and dedicated her life in the service of these people.
I am a Hindu, so don't have any bias towards her religiously but see her as a great Human being who has helped the poor and needy.

My point is..if we find charities misusing the mosty helpless people for religion, or playing with their lives, that means its an opportunity for the govt or NGOs or kind-hearted people to expand and cover more people. Its kind of pointless to lament their plight, or deaths, when we never cared about them in the first place. By caring we dont even want to give them money, or food or clothes if we see them on the streets. By we, I mean, us people as a society, all religions included. The govt. and local corporations are corrupt and couldnt care less. But we feel threatened when they are converted. And now, by we, I mean Hindu majority.
