If they want to have a show targeted at them then fine, create an offshoot "alternate universe" where the stories can be different and cater to that audience. Don't attempt to try to change canon for we majority fans to suit the desires of your minority audience. No one is excluding them, they are trying to exclude or subjugate us.

Long story short we would up watching star wars ep 4 through 6 at my place over several weekends. Not a single one of these international men and women said 'it should have been adapted to a world audience". They were blown away, LOVED the movies as they were.

I thought it was funny how they went hard into the "for women by women" angle and then how badly they fumbled this. The show was awful and it's funny to me because it has the same energy as Bruce Jenner being women of the year. It seems to reduce women and shows that the women here had no clue how to make a show, much less one in a galaxy far far away.
I couldn't agree more.. it's definitely insulting. I stayed away from the reporting and watched the first four episodes on a binge. My honest take was that it's the equivalent of a Mary-Sue fanfiction that could have been written by a fourteen year old. And, frankly, I've read better ones. I did finish it, but it did take some mental gymnastics to separate the character (singular on purpose) in my head from the self-hating actress.

Dude, Star Wars is not "for men". It's a compelling and well-written story that everybody can love and enjoy. If most of the women today are ONLY attracted to things like Twilight, Barbie, etc. it's their problem (by the way I would have loved to watch the Barbie movie, if it wasn't another "white men bad" type of sh*t). Most men today (not counting the "human vegetables" with no hobbies or passions out there) watch all sorts of movies, read all sorts of books and have a wide variety of hobbies and tastes. Women are more and more attracted by just one or two types of stories (these "feminists" loved "The Acolyte" only because it was a teen drama/soft romance, like Twilight). And while I can agree that this kind of mentality is not entirely their fault, because it is true that for centuries they have been driven, by-laws before and by "social standards" after, towards it, In today's world they have every possible meaning to "fight" and change this situation. But they don't want to do it, because it would mean recognising their own limits and putting actual effort to try and change both this vision they have of themselves and the way they approach life in general.

Dude, Star Wars is not "for men". It's a compelling and well-written story that everybody can love and enjoy.
If most of the women today are ONLY attracted to things like Twilight, Barbie, etc. it's their problem (by the way I would have loved to watch the Barbie movie, if it wasn't another "white men bad" type of sh*t).
Most men today (not counting the "human vegetables" with no hobbies or passions out there) watch all sorts of movies, read all sorts of books and have a wide variety of hobbies and tastes. Women are more and more attracted by just one or two types of stories (these "feminists" loved "The Acolyte" only because it was a teen drama/soft romance, like Twilight).
And while I can agree that this kind of mentality is not entirely their fault, because it is true that for centuries they have been driven, by-laws before and by "social standards" after, towards it, In today's world they have every possible meaning to "fight" and change this situation. But they don't want to do it, because it would mean recognising their own limits and putting actual effort to try and change both this vision they have of themselves and the way they approach life in general.
They want EVERYTHING in the world to be for women, by women. And that's ridiculous. That said, Star Wars is for everyone. It always has been.
