It's still a bit clunky but it's getting there at project zomboid.
They need to let players put stuff on backpacks and then put the backpack inside the trunk of a car.
Crazy how whole games are being made before we get an update on project zomboid
Having tried this last year, I could see how this would be up there with other survival games, but it's less like zomboid and more like other generic games like Ark. I'm super interested to see where it gets in the future, but right now it just doesn't have the depth to remain interesting for very long (for me).
What depth does zomboid have? Once you get sustainable food, water, and shelter, the game is over.
The lack of being able to pick up a heavy stick to use as an improvised club is disheartening. You're too dependent on RNG in a game where loot is artificially sparse. Also, from a gameplay standpoint, you should at least eat the food when you're at 70% or less on your hunger meter, even if you don't want to carry it with you. From a design standpoint, the player's health should slowly regen naturally over time, especially if supplies are scarce. There's too much emphasis on skulking around otherwise.
i see zomboid, i click
yooo i was watching the vid around 5min into exploring then i skipped right to the part where you called me out for skipping, it could not have been more perfect.
Looks promising
Astonishing that no big dev hasnt yet tried to do a game like this...
This game in first person would be insane...
DayZ
DayZ
@@Alfred-Neuman DayZ is too realistic, that's annoying... no fun at all
Basically 7 days to Die, which i think this game seems to take heavy inspiration from graphically
@@berenhamilton3321 IM searching for good PvP aswell, that's the reason why, but fun PvP you know?
DayZ for example is no FunPVP because it took too long to loot a full gear, any other ideas than DayZ and 7 days to die? Or how is PvP in 7DTD? Or Rust maybe? IDK! :D
They really tookwhat people love about Zomboid and season it with their flavor
its for sure not better but it has a lot of potential imo, cant wait to see what more they add
The start of zombiod it was really hard to find anything it seemed like a bad game till they updated more weapons drops
is it like project zomboid but with more actions?
Definitely not better than PZ but its getting there. Pz zombies are satisfying to kill, these zombies are janky.
Ahh, yes, the same attack animation and sometimes even stomping them. How satisfying.
Better looking. But that's it. No competition for PZ. Not even close.
I play zomboid with many mods and still not satisfied, then i edit game files so that the pistol are so OP and etc, then i get bored.
If this game want to be better than zomboid it should moddable and doesn't generate bugs, also add things that zomboid don't have, dogs as companion seems good for example. Theres mod on zomboid that add dog but meh it just like more backpack. I had play alot of zombie games, on pc and android. I have some idea in this game genre, but i won't spoil. I want to make my own game actualy but still lack of experience and resources, if theres developer want to try my idea im welcome.
i think its pronounced hue mao nitz (like nuts) than humanity z so humanitz
imo it's just better graphic, zomboid still better overall cause of all that traits+moodlets (and perfected by mods) that add to realism. but still this looks good👍
The only thing that's gonna top Zomboid is more Zomboid. Just because it's full 3D with better graphics, don't make it a better game.
@@Manterok but zomboid is tedious janky trash 13 years in "development", NPCs that were promised years ago still not in 😆
7Days would've been close if it wasn't an arcady voxelslop with artificial difficulty and forced tower defense mechanics baked into the game.
@@Bodwaizer it's still better than this game though! It is! I play Zomboid for hours and hours, because it's fun and immersive. This game looks shallow in comparison. Idgaf how long it's been in development, it's fun just how it is. It can only get better.
@@Manterok I can see something like Star Citizen improving and being very good in a long run. Zomboid? Nah, no way. Idea is good, but execution - every single element from UI and combat turns that game into tedious slog. Zombie games, somehow, even with millions of sales, all we get is jank, maybe rarely games like Dying Light 1.
What?!? I've been robbed again, no nuclear scientist. LOL
Looks like project zomboid 3D
Let me guess. On Steam only?
i tried but the camera was a deal breaker for me sadly
Is this a series of “Better than zomboid” seems you have multiple videos with the same name
its just to get the clicks
@@ixavdacity Theindiestone's fault for leading a slow development. Doubt the title would exist if they were ever on track.
Ya I gets all of us die hard PZ people to click the video so we can say its not better. And while the game looks interesting, it is not better then PZ. Tho I am biased.
